“This is by far my favorite pool bar to come to in Hawaii! David has remembered us each year we come back. That’s amazing to think you only see a couple a few days a year but remember them each year. Amazing! Alone(sp) has also been there each year and has been amazing. We look forward to next year!“
“The food and the atmosphere were top notch. I highly recommend going for that. The service was less than poor. The host just pointed to a table for us to go and once our server (whom did not appear to even want to be there) took our order we never saw him again until he brought us the bill. Never checked on us, refilled our drinks, nothing.“
“Fairly expensive bar at the Marriott Ocean Club main pool. The staff was very friendly, nice and service was quick. The drinks were very tasty, but did not have a lot of alcohol in them. I would highly suggest the Kalua pulled pork nachos ($20) and the Makai Lava Flow frozen drink ($15).Parking: Parking is located in the Marriott parking garage which had plenty of spaces but required going up many floors. I am not sure if those not staying at the Marriott can park as it requires a room key to enter.Kid-friendliness: Located at the Marriott pool with seating next to and in the general vicinity so there is plenty of room for the kids to enjoy themselves and play.“
“An outstanding restaurant in Kapalua- great views, fabulous food, on point service. Everything we had was both beautifully plated and excellent- the lobster gnocchi poutine, diver scallops, mahi mahi, and the baked Hawaiian dessert was so instagram worthy! Our server (John) made the evening wonderful.“
“My wife and I were craving pizza and took a stroll down to Taverna. The pizza and service was phenomenal. We came back a second time during our stay and ate at the bar, with the same excellent service and pizza. Our server from the first night noticed us at the bar and made a point to come over to us and say hello. Also, what a great location at the Bay Course in Kapalua. We will be back! Mahalo“
“Great customer service and good food + drinks. If you're craving a sweet drink that resembles a strawberry shortcake, try the Strawberry cocktail. Fries and poke cones were our favorite. Nothing spectacular about the pepperoni flatbread. Cool for a late night food spot.We would only consider adding more food selections to the menu.“
“Been here a couple times now. Always a very chill and relaxing vibe. Situated in between the Sands of Kahana, it looks out across the pool and to the ocean. They have a great little happy hour menu where we tried the crab sliders and fried pickles. We had a few beers, wine and a vodka/Lilikoi/lemonade mixed drink. Great prices and a rare find. Staff was amazing too and attentive!Wheelchair accessibility: Can wheel right in and sit at any of the tables that have chairs.“
“We had a big party for dinner (10 people). The good news is that everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks. The bad news is that the server was in a terrible mood. I don't think they get large parties that often. This is more of an upscale lounge for couples and small parties.I'm still giving four stars because the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is top notch. Great design that blends in perfectly with the surrounding pool area.“
“Just finished dinner and had the Molokini combo plate which was delicious and fairly priced. Mai Tai and Coconut Heaven cocktails were tasty and only $14 each. Our server was attentive and friendly. Peeked in the “tiki bar” and as a tiki bar lover, I wasn’t super impressed but appreciated the effort. The restaurant isn’t super fancy but I wouldn’t call it run down by any means. Overall I was highly impressed and glad I tried it! Free and easy parking was a bonus too! Highly recommend!“
“The best Mai Tai in Maui! This is located in Whaler’s Village and we went for the Mai Tai hype and it was worth it! The ambience is so Hawaii, food especially fried and gnocchi, service and vibe is great. They have non alcoholic Mai Tai version too“
