The food was excellent, and it was such a lovely place to eat dinner at the resort. The tiki torches, beautiful landscaping, and ocean in the distance made this a great first dinner in Hawaii. Service was ok, but for the price, I would have expected it to be a bit more polished and attentive.
Not sure what others are having issues with...I thought the food, service, and atmosphere were awesome. The Volcano roll was absolutely amazing! I got the grilled prawns and pork belly fried rice. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The prawns come out on its own little mini hot grill that stay super warm while eating the other portions of the meal! Would strongly recommend!
Upscale price for mediocre food and service.
The breakfast buffet at the Fairmont Orchid turns into the Binchotan at night.
We dined on a Tuesday night. It took 45 minutes to get two drinks. Our appetizers came out before our drinks, we were finished with apps when we finally asked if we could please have our drinks and place a dinner order.
