“I have been here 4 times now and absolutely love it. The dishes have such wonderful, clean flavors, and I love the variety and creativity. I am gluten sensitive and the fact the entire restaurant is gluten free makes it that much more wonderful because I know I can order anything on the menu and have no problems. Tonight we just stopped in for dessert while downtown and I got the churros with three different sauces. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and my boyfriend who generally doesn’t eat sweets also had a few churros and said they were excellent. “I've been to Mexico many times, and always struggled to find good tacos in America. This place has the best tacos I've ever had in USA and rivals many from Mexico.I liked the 3 sauces they bring to every table, and they have fresh free chips (homemade) and salsa.Service was prompt and friendly. The house salsa (for chips) was not the best (i would recommend them a bit more salt and lime), but those sauces for the tacos were awesome.We can't wait to go back!“

“I got carne asada tacos, rice and beans. Beans were flavorful, creamy and smooth, tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had… And the rice? “The food here was excellent and very authentic. We ate the huevos rancheros (they serve breakfast all day) with eggs over medium (cooked to perfection) and the cheese enchiladas. Every side was delicious and we locked our plates clean and were very full and satisfied! Super affordable and very quick. “Got 4 street tacos (1 chicken, 1 steak, 2 asada) and they were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The asada was my favorite. Make sure to try the spicy red sauce on your food, it’s actually hot without being offensive. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area “

The spicy salsa wasn't the same brown stuff as most places, it was homemade salsa roja and he wasn't joking about it being spicy. ¡Me quedé bien picado! “Had 3 each of the pastor and asada tacos on a beautiful Sunday morning. Excellent tacos with 2 really good sauces. I’ve lived in Texas and Colorado and these are right up with the best authentic tacos I’ve ever had. The little red truck in the parking lot puts out a really nice product at a fair price. Highly recommend if you ever get on the north side of Des Moines just off of I 80!“

“Stopped here for a quick bite to eat before our busy day. Arrived about 11:20am and the owner had the grills up and running. She was unloading things but took our order and got to cooking once done unloading. It took about 10 minutes for 2 burritos. I ordered the pastor burrito and my fiancé ordered the chicken burrito to go. We had them loaded, beans, meat, sour cream, Pico de Gallo, and guacamole. There is no other way to get your burrito! Once home we devoured our lunch. They came with the most amazing grilled onions and jalapeños. The burrito was stuffed full of food and flavor! Make this place a priority when you're around the south side!“

The bean burrito was a bit smaller than expected, served in a container with a good bit of cheese on top, got those 4 things for 12 dollars, which felt like a deal for the amount of meat in them. There was a lot of people waiting on food in the dining area. This place needs a drive thru.“
