“We had the Kimchi Dumplings as an appetizer. They were fried to perfection with a delightful crispy like glass skin. Three of us shared bulgogi beef, spicy bulgogi pork, and pork belly at the BBQ tables and had enough to bring home. The staff was great, we had a great experience. Look forward to coming again.“
“Went back today and a wonderful tenderloin, enough for two meals, plus some yummy potato salad.Great ribs!! Got there about noon and ordered. It's quiet that time of day, so there was no waiting. The Rib dinner seemed a bit expensive at $18.00, but they brought me enough to last three meals! The Ribs were excellent and the potato salad and coleslaw were both just as good. Next time I'm hungry for ribs, I'm heading back there!“
“Hands down the best BBQ in town! We had the sampler platter. The ribs are tender, tasty, and fall off the bone. The brisket literally melts in your mouth. Now, we were not fond of the italian sausage as for us, it was just spicy italian sausage. This is a place to go eat!“
“We were so impressed! There were 20-22 of us with a reservation. Two waitresses (Ashley and McKensy - I sure hope I got close on their names) were SO efficient, quick, and friendly. We got our food in a very short time, so the kitchen was efficient also. The food was delicious, the variety excellent, and the onion rings are worth the drive all by themselves. Very pleased and we will add this to our regular places!“
“This was on my “must try before I graduate” list and I’ll definitely being trying many more times before I leave Iowa City. Amazing pulled pork sandwich - I’m kinda picky when it comes to my pulled pork but you nailed it. Flakey, tastey and the portion was generous!! Also the fried pickles omg! I LOVE that they are spears- so good Also the gentleman working there was so sweet and personable! Left a little note which I see someone shared a picture of in a previous review. I can’t wait to try more things on the menu!“
