“The sub sandwiches are delicious and stacked with all your favorite ingredients. Best deli in the Marshalltown area. It is even better now that pastrami is on the menu. Hours are somewhat limited so check the hours online before you go. Bring a big appetite. Prices are really good.Bring cash or a local check because they do not take cards.Parking: Parking in downtown Marshalltown has been difficult for decades. Parrallel parking on the street. There are free lots however you may have to walk a little bit.”

“Stopped by for lunch while passing through town. All the food was hot and fresh with generous portions for the price. We loved the beef pho and the homemade jeow bong hot sauce was really tasty. Bubble teas were great too! Service was attentive and the restaurant was tidy. Great spot for Asian food.”

“The fact that we had no idea what to expect was kind of fun. There wasn't anything special from the outside. However, when walked in, it has so much to offer.The service - we sat ourselves with lots of choices, from tables to bartop tables to island seating (long island with seating on both sides). The wait staff had menus in our hands in less than a minute. Drinks followed, and our order was in with no time to spare.The two servers were on point. They weren't terribly busy, but there were quite a lot of people.The food - a nicely put together menu. The appetizers looked awesome and something for everyone. We've been watching our diet, so we didn't want to wreck it. Just sandwiches and onion strings with my breaded pork tenderloin. And her steak sandwich with fries. Honestly, it was more than I could eat! The breading isn't like most. It's crunchy in a good way. The onion strings were crispy and tender. The steak sandwich was juicy and good.The atmosphere - in one word, vast. It has so many little areas, like for pool tables, dart boards, and a very expensive shuffleboard. Jukebox, karaoke, and TVs everywhere! From all the current sports to news. The music isn't so loud you can't have a conversation. And memorabilia from all sorts of sports. It is definitely a great surprise.Vegetarian options: Really didn't see much, but you'll have to give it a go.Parking: We pulled up and parked right out front.Kid-friendliness: They have a nice variety of choices.Wheelchair accessibility: It's ADA compatible since it is on the ground floor and a nice wide door. They even ha e a patio and lots of "seating" options.”

The back patio has a full bar and has a band almost every weekend in the summer and fall. Want a chill vibe? “This restaurant is usually quite busy during normal meal hours. We call in pick up or delivery.com orders often. The Food is Always hot and fresh. They're friendly and check on you appropriately. Not usually when you have just put a bite in your mouth. The dining area can be loud when it's busy, but it's generally still good for conversation.”

“Lots of people, mostly younger crowd, always music and dance floor is hot, nice pool tables and big acarde area with lots of fun games. Sometimes service takes awhile and maybe they could use more bartenders during peek hours but the bartenders are always working hard and are cute so it makes up for it. Good vibes in general.”

“This is the best little bar in town. Everyone is polite, funny and the bartenders know exactly what you drink after the first visit. Seating capacity 24, but so much more in the visit then a seat. Shirley, the owner is the best. The customers are friendly and everyone says hello.”

The only problem is we should have picked out more items. The bread items were all good and the pastry was spot on, loved the turnover, and the one with cinnamon. And the prices were so reasonable! We always order garlic cheese bread as well. The food is always delicious, service great and the price is reasonable for tasty Italian. “Everything was great, taste wise, except the egg drop soup. I have no qualms against a more simple egg drop soup (no veggies) but was sad with this one.That said, everything else I ate was delicious and the service was great, not a fancy interior, but very clean.”

“I went basic today, and ordered the Chicken Ranch wrap & fries. Wrap was geat, fries were weak, not sure if maybe they weren't fresh, or not cooked enough. Not a big deal, I was fine with the wrap. Definitely would come again in the future if I'm in town.”

“Young guy working the window 7pm, 2/16. Everytime I come, this guy is respectful, pleasant, asks if I need anything extra and tells me to have a good one. It’s hard to find staff who are customer centric, it’s a lot harder to get consistent, positive behaviors out of them. Whoever is leading them is doing a good job! Hats off to you both!”
