“This establishment is sits on Hershey Ave., right off route 61. We were passing through. The outside is simple. The inside is not fancy, but is clean and welcoming. Seat yourself and order at the counter. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food was great. Catfish and baked beans were delicious.“
“We had a group of 8! Food, meatloaf special, was great and mashed potatoes are definitely real potatoes! Gravy over all of it!!They sat us in the back because we’d called ahead and weren’t sure of our number, so we didn’t have to worry about bothering anyone else. Our waitress was wonderful! She’d already poured water for us all! She waited on us hand and foot! We will be back!Sorry, I forgot to take a picture.“
“Great stop! Old school ice cream joint. They have food, but we got ice cream. We ordered Snow Storms with multiple mix ins. The girl behind the counter achieved mix in perfection. We had both flavors in every bite, all the way through. Highly recommend!!!“
“Burritos are great! If you want the most for your buck as far as Burritos go in Muscatine Chicharo's has the biggest Burritos for about $10.50. They fill me up and I am a 260 lb manDietary restrictions: Not a bad meal when I was type 2 diabetic. Just order without beans. Beans have starch. Rice wasn't bad with meParking: Parking in the Muscatine mall parking lot. Plenty of parking spacesKid-friendliness: Great people, great environment and Family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: No stairs, entry is level with the sidewalk which complies with wheelchair accessibility standards“
“The Italian Beef sandwich is very flavorful! I like it with the spicy peppers and au jus. Here's a warning... the sandwich is so big and filling, bring a friend to share it with - or- plan on two meals! Definitely recommend this restaurant!“
