“It's immensely popular; so much so that even in mid-afternoon, you could be in a 30 minute line to order and purchase Jaarsma's baked goods. And yet, people gladly accept that as part of the experience, because the wait is worth the reward. Jaarsma's breads are delicious (the Windmill Bread uses wheat ground at the mill 2 blocks over). Their coffee cakes are amazing. The Dutch Letters are delicious and don't sleep on their goat legs either! You couldn't go wrong with anything there, and that's why people line up and patiently wait to sample baking greatness.Also, you have to give credit to their staff, who at the time was 8 hours into a 12 hour day, with nonstop heavy traffic, and they're smiling, courteous and genuinely happy you're there. Sophia was outstanding in helping me with my order.“

“Made a reservation for nine people. They set aside tables in a little nook for us. Brought a special request pizza to our tables for us to get the first pieces. The chocolate chip cookie is outstanding on dessert bar. They even have soft serve ice cream in vanilla, chocolate, and twist. Delish!“

“Fabulous cocktails and a great environment. Try the smoked maple old fashioned. Delicious! This even though the regular bartender was out. Friendly service. If you're just nipping in for a drink, sit in the alcove to watch the activity on the square below!“

“The service here is AMAZING!! So quick, so helpful, and so good! We got chips right away at our table. We hadn't even gotten halfway through them when we got our drinks. And only a few minutes more to get our food. The food here has big portions and tastes amazing. They even have a section where the food is cooked in coconut oil, which is much appreciated. 10/10, would highly recommend!!“
