“Came in here this morning to grab coffee and a small breakfast for my family. I ordered the large iced pistachio rose latte and it was superb. The pistachio/rose flavor makes it the perfect combo of creamy and delightful. My husband had a large iced pumpkin spice latte which was exactly that deliciously pumpkin and spice. The staff was very friendly and I believe one of the owners was there and she was very nice smiling at me snapping pictures of her beautiful business. My husband and I shared the mexi bowl which I unfortunately didn't get a picture of because my kid was into it picking out the beans and we devoured it up right away too. It had egg, salsa, cheese, black beans, bell peppers and avocado slices. The mexi bowl was the perfect balance of all the good things we love. They have quite the variety of dishes for everyone. We are gluten free so the young lady who helped us recommended it for us and it definitely hit the spot. Highly recommend for everyone to try!“

“Was in the area on a weekend vacation with my wife. The other smoothie places were closed. We came to this one and boy we were not disappointed. I got the Peanut butter Jelly smoothie skeptical about it. SO glad I did. Amazing stuff. My wife got banana strawberry. She LOVED hers. She tried some of mine which my wife is super picky eater and said the PB&J was freaking delicious. I will for sure come back here when we go for another event.“
“Had A Dong today for an early dinner and it was awesome!!! 10 out of 10, would highly recommend. I have been eating there for almost 30 years and it never disappoints. The menu has something for everyone and is very affordable. The staff is always very nice and happy to see me. I don’t get there often but go every chance I can.“

“We ate lunch today Feb 3, 2024. I am so glad I chose to eat there. We ordered the fajitas de la casa. It was very yummy.We also ordered the kids quesadilla plate and extra side of beans. It was all very tasty.Our friend ordered a pork dish and said it was great! The salsa was spicy which was great. We will be back soon.“
“This little gem is amazing. Order the Gyro Rice dish, you will not be disappointed. The chicken shawarma is amazing as well! Wish they were available on GrubHub or in Mondays! The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere takes you to a place that is far beyond the East Village of Des Moines! Go check it out!“
