“Stayed in Grinnell 4 nights to attend INDYCAR weekend at Iowa Speedway. First night we stopped in at Grinnell Craft Brewhouse for a local pour before dinner. Drew was the bartender and was both friendly and knowledgeable. This is a taproom only but Drew told us that any of the nearby restaurants would deliver food and offered us menus to view. We ended up ordering salad and pizza from Pagliai's, grabbed a table outside and waited for our food to arrive. Meanwhile, Drew brought out plates, forks, napkins, and parmesan. So accommodating!“

“I had the BEST French Dip sandwich I have ever had right in Grinnell, Iowa at the Frontier Cafe !! It had the perfect Au Jus, and that is very important to having a wonderful French Dip . It had great tasting sliced roast beef a perfect hoagie bun. Mine had mushrooms onions provolone cheese cooked to perfection!! It's a spacious restaurant and I love the service and the perfect diner interior.If you are ever close to Grinnell stop in and enjoy their many wide ranging menu items from breakfast to dinner . “We ate here for mother's day brunch and it was our first time. They got us seated quickly, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. It was the best shrimp and grits I have had outside of New Orleans. Absolutely stellar!“

“Good food. Good service. Fun diner on a Saturday for lunch. We stopped there on our way through Grinnell. Guys had the loose meat sandwiches & said though tasty, not as good as Maid Rites. My tenderloin was good. Friend had small order of nachos & said they were fine. The loose meat is just like the sandwich meat. You add your own salsa. Fries were hot & crispy & onion rings were good as well. Good place for a quick lunch--reasonable prices.“
