Goldy's has been my choice for an unquestionably great breakfast in Boise for nearly 30 years. I know I will never be disappointed, so when I am not looking to be adventurous and want certainty of high-quality food with pleasant service, this is my choice. Several people recommended Goldy's, but they all told me to go early and prepare for a wait. Well, I'm happy to report that on a Saturday morning at 7:30, I was able to walk right in and get a table. The early bird gets the worm, people, or at least the hot cup of coffee. Service is fantastic-my coffee and water was refilled frequently and the folks who were waiting on guests were friendly and welcoming. The food was also very good and the portions were large. We came to Boise for an appointment, stopped to eat before. We were running out of time (our own fault) but they were so accommodating. They had to go box ready in case we had to leave without finishing! 10/10 just for the service, the food was absolutely delicious another 10/10!! Definitely stopping next time we are in town, with more time to spare for sure!
