“Had one of the best Reuben's I have had in a very long time. It was huge with a large portion of fries. No way I would have been able to eat more than half of it if it had been made anywhere else I've had one recently. But I left super stuffed because I devoured every last crumb. Yum mmmm. Now I want another.“
“Love this small, friendly sports bar! Lots of TV's to catch almost any game or event. Teesa provided nice cold beverages and Hayden gilled up a fantastic burger. I look forward to returning for some more fun. Beer Buddies hub.Parking: Always plenty of spots available.“
“I have always enjoyed Double Tap, but it has improved so much over the last year! The food is better, the staff is awesome and it's become one of my go-to places. During a recent family dinner, my 10-year-old accidentally left her retainer in a napkin on the table. We called and told our server, Akayla, who said the table had already been cleared. However, she took our number and, incredibly, called us back shortly after to say she had found it—she even searched in the garbage! That's the definition of above and beyond.“
“They have a food truck outside. The burger was juicy and tasty. The fries were crispy. Service was perfect, friendly and quick. The bartender Jackie was awesome, supportive and made my favorite drink without a question. Will absolutely be visiting again“
“Sports Lover's Paradise! I can't get enough of Liga sports bar! Whether it's early morning for Futbol or an evening filled with football, hockey, and rugby, this place has it all. The electric atmosphere makes every game exciting, and the selection of British-style lagers and pilsners perfectly complements the experience. The bar food is top-notch, and the service from Darryl Godard adds that extra touch to make it a fantastic spot for sports enthusiasts. Highly recommend!“
“We had steamed clams and spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. We shared a large order of finger steaks with homemade fries. Our table was right next to a lit fireplace....Cozy, warm atmosphere. The server was attentive, and the chef we had that afternoon was great.“
“Great selection of drinks and eats. Paired with great service and delicious food made for my best meal in Boise over four days. Ordered the Build Your Own Burger- chicken, cheddar, bacon, and sauce with their famous fries and it was delicious.“
“The staff at Janet's is phenomenal. The bartender, Brandon, knows his craft. always engaging and very proficient. Our band played there last weekend to a packed house and he took care of everybody so well. Dumpster Fire thanks you, Brandon!-Todd, James, Andy, and Anthony“
“Some of these reviews are stupid ? giving a 4 because of the parking ?? They have a massive parking lot just behind the building?! Who cares if you have to walk to the front of the restaurant ? the food is good , just make sure to ask for extra crispy fries if you place an online order , that's been my main inconvenience, seems they cook their fries in big batches sometimes“
“Second time visiting Twin Peaks, conveniently located right next-door to a hotel that I've stayed at a few times. It's pretty much a sports bar with too many TV's to count (guessing 30+) and "mountain theme" with a combination nod to an iconic TV show and another famous Florida based restaurant featuring scantily clothed servers. The food is typical American bar mix, priced fairly well for dining out at a full service place, and tastes good overall. Lots of great beer on tap to satisfy any beer snob...and super cold. Shout out to the kitchen for transforming a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich into a French Dip that I was craving. Although it's a pretty good value based on price, quality, fast and friendly service, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. And frankly, I think the "uniforms" of the servers are not necessary. I'm sure I'll be back when I'm staying at the hotel next door in the future.“
“Hooligans has changed a lot with new ownership and mostly for the better. They have a lot more organization that has brought in a more respectful crowd. The food is better than you'd think, and the mixed drinks are surprisingly good. The best part for us is they are within walking distance of our home. This was the first place we took our son for some adult fun when he turned 21. Fun memories.“
“McCleary's pub is a cozy and friendly neighborhood bar located in the heart of Boise, Idaho. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and regulars who make you feel like part of the family. The menu is simple but satisfying, with classic pub fare like burgers, wings, and fries. The beer selection is impressive, with a variety of local and regional brews on tap. Overall, McCleary's is a great spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat with friends, or to unwind after a long day.“
“This place is very nice..iam in my 50's. Very nice people. Bartenders are great! My parents used to go there 30 years ago. I didn't feel old or out of place. Great experience..definitely go back again for conversation and feel good. Great job!!!“
“We hadn't been here in a long time and actually came for the Twisted Tenders, but we ended up ordering Italian nachos as the appetizer, then I ordered the Italian sandwich and my wife got the tenders. The Italian nachos are delicious! They were so filling too! The sandwich was pretty good (having the vegetables with dip as a side was nice). My wife loved the tenders! The fries were also really good.We also got the cookie to go and that was yummy.“
“Very disappointed in the lettuce wraps. We were served lettuce that you couldn't wrap with. When we mentioned it to the server she brushed it off and let us know she'd mentioned it to the kitchen staff before. Her response was disappointing. The flavor of the lettuce wrap meat/ vegetables was delicious.Shrimp skewers were great. Fun happy hour drinks.I'll visit again in the area but will choose a different appetizer.“
“Visiting this restaurant, situated in a prime location next to Edwards Theater and the encompassing IMAX, offers a blend of dining and entertainment options that make for an interesting experience. Its proximity to these entertainment hubs means you can easily plan a full evening out, starting with a meal and perhaps ending with a movie or an IMAX feature. The restaurant itself boasts a gaming area, providing a unique twist to the dining experience. This section, however, often appears vacant, with a separate dining space that seems underutilized.Upon entering, you'll notice that the décor, particularly in the bathroom areas, feels somewhat outdated, yet everything remains functional. It's a slight drawback in an otherwise modern establishment. A peculiar policy restricts access to the main dining area, complete with booths, during lunch hours. Instead, patrons are directed to the bar area, which seems to be the standard practice from Monday through Friday at lunchtime. It's unclear if this changes during dinner hours, as I have yet to visit during the evening rush. The kitchen's cleanliness is immediately apparent, reflecting well on the establishment's hygiene standards. The food consistently impresses, with a particular nod to the finger steaks and an array of sides including tater tots, fries, and onion rings. The Idaho cheese sticks are a standout, accompanied by a trio of dipping sauces - marinara, ranch, and an intriguing berry option, possibly raspberry, adding a delightful twist to a classic appetizer.Parking is never an issue, with ample spaces available, underscoring the convenience of its Cole Road location. The staff exude friendliness, enhancing the overall dining experience and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the establishment. The ambiance is akin to a sports pub, bolstered by an impressive array of televisions - around 30 screens, including a large one above a fireplace. This area, regrettably, is off-limits during lunch. The focus on sports broadcasts and the extensive selection of about 20 different tap beers cater well to sports enthusiasts and beer aficionados alike. In summary, this restaurant presents a good mix of quality food, strategic location, and an engaging atmosphere, albeit with some areas for improvement. The quirky policy regarding seating arrangements during lunch and the dated aspects of the decor slightly mar an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. However, the clean kitchen, exceptional service, and overall vibe of the establishment suggest a venue well worth visiting. Whether you're looking for a casual meal out or a spot to catch the latest game, this restaurant offers a compelling option.Parking: The parking lot is shared with the real theater and a couple other restaurants in the nearby area so there’s plenty of free parkingKid-friendliness: I don’t believe this restaurant is kid friendly at lunchtime. You have to sit in the bar area.Wheelchair accessibility: It did not look like you’d get around very well if you had a wheelchair at lunchtime“
“Tyson was very helpful for us - we had troubles using our phone app to work the game payments, and we were getting frustrated. He tried to get it working, and when it was still being fussy, he asked us if we just wanted a physical card. Yes please!! He was kind, courteous, and helpful.“
“Our server was polite, but one of my party members is hard of hearing and the server was basically whispering. Even when we mentioned hard of hearing, still just a whisper. Also it was near closing, very few tables left, and took an exuberant amount of time to get our check. Come to think of it, to place our food order, too. Service was super slow. The steak tasted fantastic and drinks were good, pretzel sticks were probably microwaved but that's what you expect at these chains.“
“I've always heard that Applebees is a subpar restaurant, however i was very pleasantly surprised. Despite being a saturday evening, service was timely and polite, the restaurant was clean, and the food quality was great. Furthermore, the all you can eat choices are a great deal considering the price of restaurants these days.“
“You will absolutely love this underground pub!!! Delicious beers, wings, and the nicest owners you will ever meet. This is my favorite pub in Boise. They have fun theme nights too, including live music. I am so thankful Boise has such a unique and fun downtown pub.“
