Amazing food. The best in the area
Amazing amazing amazing!
Me and my wife have been coming here for seven years now. They’re always super friendly. The food is phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back.

AMAZING NAAN!
The food here is obviously expensive! Loved the garlic naan and cheese naan, they are too good and perfectly flavoured with the crispy taste.
Also, try their Tofu Makhani. Really amazing taste. Overall, the restaurant has a good dining vibe. The seating area is comfortable. Make sure to emphasise on spice level a little bit since they tend to forget it sometimes.

Taj Mahal Homestyle Indian and Pakistani Cuisine in downtown Boise offers amazing, delicious food that will make you want to stop time and savor each bite. The restaurant features a large selection of food items, including samosas and fried onion appetizers, alongside dishes like the Bengan Bharta and the rich tofu tika masala. The Tandori Platter with chicken and beef is noted for its flavor, and the garlic naan bread complements the meal perfectly. The bengan pakoras are perfectly crispy, and the coconut chai is described as tasting like marshmallows, while the chai is also regarded as the best ever.
This family-owned restaurant is known for its personable and friendly owner, who often visits tables to explain and describe the dishes. The service is wonderful, and the experience is enhanced by the owner's engaging personality. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating on the second floor, overlooking lively 8th Street.
While the pricing may be higher than typical Indian restaurants, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it well worth the visit. The salmon biryani and Bindhi masala are also recommended, and although food takes a little while to come out, it is because everything is made from scratch. Taj Mahal Homestyle Indian and Pakistani Cuisine is a must-try dining destination in Boise, currently open for dinner and closed for lunch.
