“We ordered sushi for take out from here on a whim (after our regular place turned out so busy on Good Friday that they disconnected their phone and turned off online ordering). They have a great selection of maki, both basics and specialty rolls at very fair prices. Edamame was piping hot when we got it home. We found a nice surprise in our order - they had included 2 ice cream desserts with a hand written note to have a good night on the box. Really sweet touch. Everything was fresh and yummy - I also feel like the specialty roll portions were very sizeable. Will definitely come back again to try some of the bento meals and udon noodles! Thanks :)“
“Wow this place is a gem! My husband and I came here last night and got the Godzilla roll, salmon sunset roll, and two different kinds of ramen. Everything was SO delicious and the sushi tasted incredibly fresh. The lady and gentleman that seemed to be running the place are the NICEST individuals. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the food, but we ate it too fast. This place is almost 40 mins for us, but it’s definitely worth the drive, we agreed it would be our go to sushi spot from now on. See you again soon!“

“This place is legit. We came here for the Korean Sashimi experience. I wasn't expecting much since this place is in a pretty unassuming strip mall but the quality of the fish is what did it for me. I believe the owner buys an entire tuna and expertly slices different parts himself. I had the best tasting sashimi here. And as much fish as I have had in my life I found myself asking the waitress what part of the tuna I was eating. First time trying Tuna jaw meat and it was astounding. The amount of toro grade tuna that was served amazed me. Service was a bit slow but with high quality fresh fish that they serve all was forgiven. 5 stars all the way.“

We came Friday for lunch and tried their lunch specials which come with soup. I tried the Orange Shrimp (pictured), Sushi Platter and Beef with Mixed Vegetables. Both the sushi and Chinese dishes were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the hot & sour soup with my platter which is one way I gauge the authenticity & quality of a Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The soup and dishes we ordered reminded me of my parent's restaurant which they ran for over 30 years. There are very few restaurants serving quality Chinese dishes in the Northwest suburbs so come out and support this restaurant.“
“I finally discovered this cosy restaurant which was on my list quite awhile. Everything we tried today was excellent. Miso soup and boiled edamame were just as good as expected. The highlight of my dinner was a sashimi plate! The quality of the medium fatty blue fin tuna and lean blue fin tuna was outstanding. Sake toro and escolar sashimi were mouthwatering. The charred flavor of my husband's squid and mushrooms was delightful. His skewers of chicken and beef were well prepared. His sushi selection of octopus, squid, egg and smoked salmon was fresh and well presented. We were really impressed by the very generous portions and the very fair pricing of the outstanding quality fish compared to the other Japanese restaurants. The only critique would be to to change the sesame chicken recipe because it looked and tasted exactly like the orange chicken with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Sesame chicken meat was tough too, we were disappointed with that dish. Otherwise we will be back to try more things off the menu.“

“The all-you-can-eat dinner is a good way to try many things on the menu. I have tried about ten different rolls over the years. My two favorite rolls are Black Dragon and Snow Mountain (see the attached picture). The Snow Mountain Roll is not on the all-you-can-eat menu. For some reason, the salmon tasted slightly fishy this time. One time we came as a large party and only two people wanted the all-you-can-eat option. We were told that everyone at the table needed to order all-you-can-eat. I can understand the reasoning for that.“

“The host helped us alittle bit and then our server took our order but she didnt tell us till way after we got the broth and our stuff for the buffet bar thing that you have to order the meat and sushi on the tablet thing on the table. Then the robot brings it to us. They didnt refill our drinks enough either. It was okay once we got our stuff but i wish they would of told us beforehand so we could get everything together. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that a woman that looked to be the manager, was the one sitting guests. It was pretty busy considering it was Valentine’s Day but she payed no attention to reservations. Me and my girlfriend and 2 other couples had reservations and have been waiting for more than half an hour as she sat walk in guests that waited 3 minutes at most. This one couple had just walked in and put their name down, manager lady comes back and asks “2?” And then took them to sit at a hibachi table. I tried getting her attention but she didn’t care. I know it was busy but common, have some structure. What was the point in taking in reservations if you aren’t going to look at the list? Horrible manager/ host lady. Amazing servers/chiefs/atmosphere/food. So if you’re coming in on a busy day, make sure you come in extra early even if you have a reservation.“
