“My favorite restaurant closes down recently, and I've been looking for a replacement. This place has everything I wanted and more. The crab rangoon in beautifully fried, the filling is sweet and crabby without too much onion. The BBQ pork has that wonderful deep color and flavor that char sui ought to have. The sesame chicken is made with dark meat I think which gives a whole new dimension to the chew, while the coating remains a bit of crispyness while still being smothered in a sweet sesame sauce. The sauce might be slightly stodgy, but I've have far worse when you consider all of it together. The fried rice has a deep wok flavor, both smokey and rich. Even the BBQ chicken sticks are what you might find at a decent buffet, but amped up to 11! I have a new favorite Chinese restaurant. Sadly it's 80 miles from my house. But I'll be back tomorrow to try the egg rolls!“

“Really great food - I had the Kung Pao chicken, and my 99-year old Great Aunt has been eating Beef Chop Suey for at least 50 years, so I guess that she's somewhat of an expert taster, lol. Neither of us had previously tried this unassuming, tidy place that also has frozen dessert specialties. We both were very happy with the flavor and freshness of our dishes, and I have to say that this is TRULY one of the best in the area- can't wait to go back and grab some more deliciousness from these fine folks! :)“

“We have been searching for decent “Chinese” food since moving to mchenry 8 months ago and NOTHING in the area was even close to being good. This was the first time I’ve had it since moving and I can FINALLY say we found the place. The egg rolls were so good, which is usually my biggest test on a place! The beef egg food young was also great, no big chunks of onions either. It was a good portion of ingredients, and the flavor was spot on. My husband had the chicken fried rice and orange chicken and he said it was really good - he usually says “it was fine” whenever we get Chinese, so this is a big compliment coming from him. The service getting the food was quick and still warm when we got it. I do remember coming here years ago, and remember it being really a great atmosphere and really good. So luckily with Uber Eats, we were able to have it delivered. I am thrilled to say I FINALLY found my go to spot!!!!“

The only critique would be to to change the sesame chicken recipe because it looked and tasted exactly like the orange chicken with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Sesame chicken meat was tough too, we were disappointed with that dish. Otherwise we will be back to try more things off the menu.“

We came Friday for lunch and tried their lunch specials which come with soup. I tried the Orange Shrimp (pictured), Sushi Platter and Beef with Mixed Vegetables. Both the sushi and Chinese dishes were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the hot & sour soup with my platter which is one way I gauge the authenticity & quality of a Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The soup and dishes we ordered reminded me of my parent's restaurant which they ran for over 30 years. There are very few restaurants serving quality Chinese dishes in the Northwest suburbs so come out and support this restaurant.“

“This is the BEST Chinese food I have ever had. It is authentic, fresh and home made. The noodles are amazing. You can tell they are freshly made. We try to get something different every time we go there just so we can try everything and we have never had a bad dish. The leak pancakes are fablous as well as the soup dumplings! I tried the tomato, eggs and noodles and that is my new favorite. It is a very comforting dish. I can't say enough about the food. From the mapo tofu to the biang biang noodles all the way to the soy sauce eggs - you can't go wrong. The owner is very friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. This is a MUST TRY!!“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant closed a few years back and i didn't wanna try another place. My dad recommended this one to me and i tried it for the first time a couple months back and I CANT STOP ORDERING!! The food is delicious and you get your moneys worth for sure!! They were not in my delivery range and my coworkers and myself wanted it for lunch and we work in a hospital. They were so kind enough to deliver it to us. The lunch specials rock. “Classic Chinese place in that it is a small storefront in a local strip mall. They do not deliver. The lady in charge was very nice to deal with and our order was ready as promised. We had Kung Pao and Sesame Chicken with a couple of egg rolls. Food was quite good and in "lunch for the next two days" quantity. We will be returning.It should also be noted that dine-in facilities are at an absolute minimum. Functionally, this is a take-out joint only. And that is okay.“

We decided to eat there and waited awhile for the soups, but that gave me the impression they made them per order, and the taste pretty much confirmed it. “This place has some of the best Chinese food I have found near Hanover park/streamwood/Bartlett. Mongolian Beef is more traditional (spicy and not sweet, packed with beef, white and green onions and includes the crunchy white noodles). The fried rice with shrimp came with good size shrimp. The crab Rangoon is also packed with filling and you can tell they change their oil frequently. We also enjoyed their beef lo mein and sesame chicken. Their food is not salty, but if you like that add a little salt yourself to bring out a tad more flavor. Don’t plan on dining in, it’s not the greatest atmosphere. It is clean but clearly meant for carry out first.“
“After our favorite Chinese in the suburbs closed down after 30 years we've been hunting for a new favorite. So far, Heng Wing is the best we have found in the suburbs near us. Their egg rolls are huge and come with an option of home made hot mustard, tastes like a honey mustard blended with wasabi it's very good. I've tried a different dish every time, they all have been very good with generous portions you could easily split a dinner with someone or take leftovers for lunch/dinner the next day. My Hubby orders the Mongolian beef every time without disappointment. Note if you like yours spicy ask for very spicy. They also provide complimentary hot tea and almond cookies.
