“I used to live next door to the founder of Emily's but moved out of the neighborhood a decade ago. Recently, I became reacquainted with the Lindenhurst location. Met friends from WI at the Beach Park restaurant this weekend. Food and service between the two locations are the same. Great breakfast menu, excellent friendly service. You can't go wrong.Vegetarian options: Egg white veggie omelet.”

“Food was great and better than I expected ?? FIsh fried hard was tender on the inside, & crunchy crispy on the outside ?? Sides Mac n cheese seasoned just right and yams were delicious ? I also had a small tip with sauce on the side and I loved it! It had a kind of spice to it, the sauce with a hint of kick to it... Fantastic ??????”

“The guys that run this Subway are great! The location is always very clean and the staff friendly. I go there maybe once a month and they always remember my usual order. I wouldn't go to another subway because this one is close to the house and I don't think you could find a better one. Highly recommend them!!!”

“We are from WI and found Big Ed's because it was close to the hotel we stayed at. Unfortunately they we out of a few favorites but we found others and all 3 meals were outstanding. I had a full rack of ribs which were amazing and the wings were just as good. Service was great and super friendly...every employee was helpful and had smiles on their faces. Love the mom and pop local family business and already planning trips back to try the favorites they were out of as well as past the word on to everyone we know that loves BBQ. Well worth the hour drive!”

“I had been told to come check out this place since it's opening and tonight I found myself with nowhere to be for a bit and early enough to catch them before they closed. I spent a good deal of time deciding what I was going to order (because it all sounded amazing!) and the owner kept checking on me (but not in a pushy way) and I finally decided on the Cheeze burger and the berry smoothie. The first sip was perfection, and it only got better from there. I waited just 2 or 3 minutes more and my burger was ready. Spent a short time in conversation with the owner, and even before biting into the burger, I knew I'd be back as soon as my schedule allowed. Great customer service, phenomenal food and a calming, beautiful atmosphere. Don't sleep on this place, people! 10 out of 10.”

“It's a very nice little place. We felt welcome for our party of 8. The carne asada fries are bomb. Also their mixed drinks have a lot to cater to your taste. I'm a fan of mezcal and they had plenty here. Also tried their smash burger and had a few 3 floyd beers. Staff was always attentive and friendly. I'd come here again to hangout for the reasonably priced menu and location.”

“My husband and I went here for the first time! I heard about this place from my clients and decided to go for breakfast to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary, and everything was an A++++! I ordered a hot mocha with toffee and their specialty feta omelette. I was super happy that I was able to substitute the pancakes for crepes and the waitress was very accommodating and suggested I added toffee to my mocha, and she was right on the money! My husband got their OJ and it wasn’t from the carton, it was fresh! The color and taste was very fresh and bright! I can’t remember the name of his dish, but it was some kind of spicy Chorizo Benedict (I think). The food came out in 10-15 minutes, which was incredibly fast and SUPER DELICIOUS! The food was also well priced, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and as we headed out we could see their HUGE BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN and amazing juice/coffee bar at the entrance. The place was packed, but with the speedy spectacular service and fast delicious food/drinks you would think otherwise! Definitely coming back soon and recommending this to others!”

My wife had two carne asada tacos, a red tamale and guacamole for the table which the guacamole was deliciously tasty fresh and very well executed the tacos were a considerably satisfying portion and the tamale was delicious very well seasoned no acidity nothing Very fresh, the tamale, surprisingly, I was very happy with it for my part, I ordered an al pastor burrito. The burrito comes with lettuce, tomato, rice, beans and meat, which made the burrito very tasty. well equipped, very well supplied with flavors and a price of only $11.99. Very good price for a burrito of that quality and that size, my wife and I were really fascinated, and it is definitely one or will be one of our stops, whether on the way back from Wisconsin or on the way to Chicago, very good place to stop and eat lunch, dinner and they also have breakfast. I recommend them.”

“During my recent visit to B&B Restaurant in Grayslake, I decided to order the Italian beef, a dish I usually can’t get enough of. Unfortunately, this time, the meat was overcooked, which was a bit of a letdown for my taste buds. I specifically asked for it “really dipped” (swimming in the juice), or alternatively, with two extra juices on the side along with sweet and hot peppers. The price was reasonable, falling within the average range you’d expect for such a meal.On a brighter note, the restaurant’s interior boasts a pretty nice modern finish, and it’s kept very clean. The staff and service were very polite and welcoming, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. Despite the hiccup with the main course, I’m intrigued by the lunch menu and would like to come back to try different options, hoping for a more satisfying culinary experience next time.”
