“We heard their fries were awesome and had to give it a try. We chose to go around 4pm on a Saturday and beat the dinner crowd, sat at the bar and had speedy service all around. They also have wood bar toppers to give you for food orders at the bar since the way the bar top is originally built isn't the best for eating. There is a decent tap list and their duck fries were as good as claimed. I can't speak for their busier times but when we went it was clean, we were greeted and our food came out quick. Overall, it's worth a try to decide for yourself.“

“The Newark Nook is one of the more famous speakeasy's on Chicago's Northwest side. While it is most famous for being Milton S. Hershey's preferred watering hole when he visited Chicago for the 1893 World's Fair, it was also the scene of several gangland shootings in the 1920's, and was built on the site of a civil war battle where famed wild Buffalo hunter, Col. Michael Gallen, was killed. Today the bar is mostly known for its extensive cocktail list and secret lounge area. The food is prepared by a former James Beard award winning chef but is a bit too fancy to my taste, but everything is very nice. The Colonel Gallen Buffalo Nachos are stellar and include a commemorative plate that can be taken home.“

We have young kids and have been going to Riley's for many years which we always enjoy and highly recommend If you are new in town or have never been. I would say Riley's is a must-go experience whether you are looking to have a few drinks or looking for a good meal with a true family atmosphere. They are always very accommodating and the service Is top-notch while the quality of the food is the icing on the cake for your overall experience. “I cannot believe that no reviews or comments have been made about this business! They have great servers/bartenders! They have beanbag tournaments during nice weather months. Their food is outstanding! I had one of THE BEST corned beef sandwich on St Patrick's Day I've ever had! They have video gambling, which is fine if that's your thing. Outdoor bar is nice during warmer weather! Parking is enough for their size. It's unique inside with authentic plane parts, including helicopter landing gear for the bars kick plate. Jimmy the owner is very friendly and will buy you a drink/shot when he's there and his son, Chase, is a fabulous cook! Conveniently located minutes from O'Hare airport!“

“Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and Enzo's was PACKED! Every table and every seat at the bar had someone sitting in it. We had two Wood Fire Pizza's (Cheese add Pepperoni and Sausage - $14 & "Pepperoni" from the menu - $18). Honestly don't know what the difference was between the two other than Honey Drizzle, but for $4.00 more? Not worth the added cost in my opinion, just order a cheese and add the Pepperoni. Pizza's were slightly undercooked (soggy bottom) but baked just right on top and really delicious! Good ratio of sauce to cheese and toppings. Pizza's could easily be split between two people or taken home for leftovers. Daughter had burger and it was a good size, more than she could eat! Since there was some left, took a few bites and was pleasantly surprised in the seasoning and overall taste. Will be something I will order in the future for sure. Side salads were also a good size (Garden w/ Ranch and Caesar). The Ranch is more of a Buttermilk Style and was decent, not great. The Caesar was really good! So why four stars? It's LOUD! Like hard to hear the person sitting across from you loud. Not loud from TV's or music (music was a decent volume) but it's from everyone talking. There isn't anything to damper the sound and think this is one area they should look to try and resolve. Will go back for sure and glad to see this place buzzing!“

The chicken quesadilla, how I got me and my coworker home. If I wasn’t in town on business I would’ve drank all their $4 tall boy PBR.In all seriousness, was told they were under new management. Obviously it’s working. Staff was entertaining, locals were non stop entertainment, food was crème de la crème of bar food.“

“Went to see Duck and Cover. Phenomenal band, they honor and acknowledge veterans. The lead singer comes down to the dance floor with people 5 and used audience members in his songs. We had a great time and will look to see them again. Of course, the broasted chicken is just the best.“

“We had our son's 1st birthday in the Fireplace Room at Countryside Saloon recently and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out! We'd recommend anyone to have a big party here. We had about 50 guests and the space was more than big enough for people to walk around and mingle or sit down to eat. Staff allowed me to arrive an hour before the official party start-time so we could put up birthday decorations, including a large balloon arch (which the staff actually helped us take down & discard after the party, which was very helpful). We ordered an unlimited pizza, salad, and pasta salad food option from the kitchen, along with unlimited domestic beer pitchers, which all worked out wonderfully; food was delicious and nobody left hungry (or thirsty!). And the cost was reasonable to feed 50 people. Too bad our son will be too young to remember it, but everyone else had a great time!“

“Basic sports bar. It's located in Norridge not close to anything interesting. Newbe's actually is pretty good to be honest, much better than expected for sure. Has the basic drinks and food. There's also gaming. A few way to keep entertained. It has video poker and slots. There was one woman who never moved from the one slot machine the entire time. As for the rest of the stuff, it has pretty average drinks and food. It's about $6 for wells. Basic liquor selection. The food is mostly fried and greasy things. About $3 for fried appetizers. The rest of the menu is meaty stuff. Good stuff as far as entertainment. It has slots. There's not that much else interesting but it's a nice neighborhood hangout if you're around it though.“

I pick up from Munchies as often as I can even though I have moved further away because nothing near me gers even close to how good their pizza is. We both ordered beers, and the food was fantastic. I got the chicken piccata, and he ordered the bacon burger. We both had the Chipotle mayo on the side that added a great twist to both meals. Splitting the two was a great idea. I like the open concept of the restaurant as one side is a bar and the other is more centered around dining. Then just when I thought it couldn't get any better. A band started jamming and they sounded incredible! The glass wall in between us created the perfect amount of sound.
