The waiter was great (Abdi I believe her name was; forgive me If I got it wrong) but she did great with checking back with us. The prices were amazing for the amount of food you get. “We heard their fries were awesome and had to give it a try. We chose to go around 4pm on a Saturday and beat the dinner crowd, sat at the bar and had speedy service all around. They also have wood bar toppers to give you for food orders at the bar since the way the bar top is originally built isn't the best for eating. There is a decent tap list and their duck fries were as good as claimed. I can't speak for their busier times but when we went it was clean, we were greeted and our food came out quick. Overall, it's worth a try to decide for yourself.“
“I would highly recommend fourteensixteen as it is by far the best restaurant in lagrange. The staff are amazing, the vibes are on point, and the location itself presents itself well. I got the pistachio covered lamb rack when I last went, and it was phenomenal. The dish held up well, the lamb was moist, and the sauces complimented the lamb perfectly. I also had the mango cheesecake, and I can still remember how perfect the cheesecake was. It was a perfect amount of cheesecake flavor to mango flavor. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant as I have yet to see a better one in the surrounding area.“

“The Newark Nook is one of the more famous speakeasy's on Chicago's Northwest side. While it is most famous for being Milton S. Hershey's preferred watering hole when he visited Chicago for the 1893 World's Fair, it was also the scene of several gangland shootings in the 1920's, and was built on the site of a civil war battle where famed wild Buffalo hunter, Col. Michael Gallen, was killed. Today the bar is mostly known for its extensive cocktail list and secret lounge area. The food is prepared by a former James Beard award winning chef but is a bit too fancy to my taste, but everything is very nice. The Colonel Gallen Buffalo Nachos are stellar and include a commemorative plate that can be taken home.“

“On this night, we visited our local Iowa Hawkeye bar, Gracie O’Malley’s to enjoy some NCAA women’s basketball amazing number 22 Kaitlyn Clark.This bar is pretty big and well appointed, with lots of TVs for viewing and an outdoor seating area when the weather permits.They have grace solution of beers in full bar with some delightful proprietary cocktails.Their kitchen is banging out some amazing dishes, such as the pulled pork poutine, the grace, O’Malley‘s burger and the southwest chicken sandwich. The burger was juicy and delicious. The chicken sandwich was crispy and spicy and you came on a brioche bun. Topped with fresh tomatoes and purple onions. Very well and very tasty. I paired it with mac & cheese, which is not a traditional mac & cheese by any means. This mac & cheese was out of this world. Fantastic! The only reason why this place did not get a five star rating was because they were short a waitress on this particular Monday. However, our bartender was very social and accommodating. Will definitely be back again for final four.“

“We had our son's 1st birthday in the Fireplace Room at Countryside Saloon recently and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out! We'd recommend anyone to have a big party here. We had about 50 guests and the space was more than big enough for people to walk around and mingle or sit down to eat. Staff allowed me to arrive an hour before the official party start-time so we could put up birthday decorations, including a large balloon arch (which the staff actually helped us take down & discard after the party, which was very helpful). We ordered an unlimited pizza, salad, and pasta salad food option from the kitchen, along with unlimited domestic beer pitchers, which all worked out wonderfully; food was delicious and nobody left hungry (or thirsty!). And the cost was reasonable to feed 50 people. Too bad our son will be too young to remember it, but everyone else had a great time!“

There's also gaming. A few way to keep entertained. It has video poker and slots. There was one woman who never moved from the one slot machine the entire time. As for the rest of the stuff, it has pretty average drinks and food. It's about $6 for wells. Basic liquor selection. The food is mostly fried and greasy things. About $3 for fried appetizers. The rest of the menu is meaty stuff. Good stuff as far as entertainment. It has slots. There's not that much else interesting but it's a nice neighborhood hangout if you're around it though.“
