“First time dining here. We were seated right away and our server was on hand to welcome the two of us and took our drink order immediately. We decided on pasta dishes and both enjoyed them and liked they came with a choice of soup or salad.“
“I've yet to ever have bad service here; the people are always nice and helpful and wow, actually care how to make a great pizza and deliver on kind customer service. I will ALWAYS GO out of my way TO THIS LOCATION and NEVER GO TO ADDISON LOCATION, I promise you after my last experience there last year, I believe every word of those reviews, but I digress, come to the Bensenville Location off Irving Park Road; great food, great people, great service!“
“This place was delicious! We got the bbq chicken and gyro pizza as well as the combination gyro/chicken over rice. The pizza was made to near perfection, had a good crunch with an impactful flavor. The rice dish was good; it was very flavorful, but I think the meat to rice ratio was a bit off (needed more rice) and I wish the pita was toasted rather than microwaved. Aside from that I was very happy with everything and will definitely be back!“
“It's always hard to write a review when you solely travel for one dish. Said dish has to be an amazing to justify the trip right? The "Pa" pizza was a nice detour from my normal Chicago destination for tavern style. The candied jalenos paired nicely but were a bit overpowering. It's worth mentioning that spice level was quite bareable also. Where dough lost a star was the other half of my pizza which was solely garlic & cheese. Crusty could've used a tad bit more "cracker like crust but a regular pizza from here was just that, Regular. Nothing worth mentioning at all. If I'm in the area, maybe a trip to Brookfield I'd indulge but going forward Chicago has some steep completion in closer proximity for za.“
“Celebrated my bday on Monday . Food was delicious as always , waitress was pleasant and very attentive. The only reason I am giving 4 stars it’s because the hostess was very rude and ignorant. If you having a bad day maybe next time take a day off . No one wants to see your attitude.“
“Love this deli so much I happily drive from Oak Lawn to get there. The Primo panini is my favorite but they are all top tier. Their canoli are quite possibly the best I have ever had. I buy two of their easter pies every year and my family goes nuts for them. If you haven't stopped in you are missing out big time. The staff is very friendly and warm like being around family.Parking: Free parking up and down the block both sides of the street“
“Not around the corner from me, but definitely worth the drive. The pizza crust is the perfect amount of thin and fluffy with a slight sweetness to the dough. The crust is beautifully crispy and yet tender! Tonight we had the bruschetta mix which is a choice of 3 different bruschetta of our choosing. We tried the traditional, the caponata, and the Rockefeller. I really liked the Rockefeller which is a nice combination of spinach, Swiss and Asiago cheese. We ordered the Mediterranea Salad and it was so pretty. The salad was dressed well with just the right amount of sun-dried tomatoes and Kalamata Olives. I am not a personal fan of olives, but these had some really nice flavor to them. The pizza we ordered a traditional Margherita which was with a red sauce and the Biancaneve which is with a white sauce. Even though the ingredients were similar they tasted completely different and so good! I wish there was more cheese on both pizzas. They seemed weirdly dispersed so some slices only had a few 1/2 pieces. They do use fresh mozzarella in both these pizzas so don't expect to have that cheesy pull of shredded mozzarella. We sat in the side room which had a big screen on one side and there were music videos being played. Since the restaurant wasn't very crowded the music seemed really loud making it a bit hard to have a conversation. We were seated at the far end of the room, close to the restrooms and the music was still loud. The service was spot on. Our server checked back often, she gave us time to look over the menu and she didn't rush us as we were thinking about each course. Next time we will have to try dessert. The crepes sound delicious.“
“If you want true Italian cooking and a friendly atmosphere, then Mangia Napoli is the place. I cannot express enough how great the food is! Thank you to Fonz, Eddie & Vinnie for the excellence in food. Fonz the Zuppa you prepared for our anniversary was beyond excellent! Many thanks“
“Sunday lunch was a wonderful experience for several reasons. The restaurant was open according to their posted store hours. A few years ago, this would have been a silly compliment. But these days, we have had several encounters in which we would arrive at an eatery and notice the doors are still locked even though it's past their usual store open hours. Needless to say, service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our party of six shared the smoked trout dip, calamari, charred pepperoni pizza, white mushroom and truffle pizza, Italian cheesecake, and tiramisu. The smoked trout dip is a tad high on sodium but I really like how it was served with flaxseed crackers. The pizza are served Romana style, therefore rectangular and fluffy. The crust is thin but with a crunch. Even better, they are half-price on Sundays!“
“These guys nailed the Indian-fusion food! Simple but excellent adaptations of classic favourites from Indian, Korean, American, Mexican, Italian cuisines (and then some!)We tried the vada pav (Indian burger with stuffed fried potato patty, spices etc) tacos samosa and chicken tikka were both delicious! Momos (potstickers), thin crust pizza, and samosa chaat (smashed samosas with chickpeas, chutneys, onions etc)Pleasantly surprised every dish done just perfectly with its own twist on the original. And lovely presentation. They have an ice cream station (not to be missed!)The place is casual, perky and fun… Absolutely try this place out.“
“Best local spot for gelato or food!! They always have a huge variety of gelato and ice cream flavors. I love coming here, the portions are always big as well. Their food is served hot and tasty! I also really like the small and intimate environment. I always have great service!“
“Ive been to Pie Life a couple of times already, and I can say its probably the best pizza Ive had in Illinois by far. Ive always prefered NY/NJ style pizza over Chicago, but its impossible to find anywhere that makes it right here, until I found Pie Life. They have a large selection of pizzas, all available in slices, 16" whole, or 20" whole. I appreciate the slice option because its a good quick lunch/dinner and not many places serve individual slices anymore, and not for this low price either. Its a little misleading seeing the slice premade then warmed up, but they put it in the oven, not a microwave, so I garuntee it still tastes immaculate (but obviously ordering a whole fresh pizza is even better!) I also appreciate the "what you see is what you pay" style pricing, the slices are $5, and you pay $5, nothing more. Their service is also some of the best Ive ever seen. Its a privately run business, and they truely make you feel welcome every time, they like to talk and are very friendly (the owners daughter is also occasionally in the restaurant eating pizza and coloring, it is very adorable). Overall, I cannot say enough about this place, I go to College of Dupage down the road, and for as long as I go there I will be eating Pie Life for lunch, great quality and value!“
“Real deal Italian spot. From the outside looks like a convenience store with Illinois Lottery displays but when you walk in, a classic Italian deli/grocery shop with dine-in area, a large spread of pre-made sandwiches, desserts, other homemade goodies, and a fridge/freezer full of take-home food and meals. Also nice to see they have a drive-thru. Pictured here is a 6" Paesano on their homemade bread with everything on it as well as hot giardiniera. Subs are made-to-order and you can see the cooks doing so. Meats are nicely portioned and the sub itself was not overly stuffed. Ordered this as a combo (which I could probably do without next time) which includes a bag of choice of chips and a fountain drink from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Definitely want to try out their Serino Special Sub, Eggplant Parmesan Sub, Caprese Sub, or even their Pizzas next time. Their cannolis and cookies looked to die for so will need to grab those also.“
“My family member treated us to a dinner here. It was a Friday evening; it was crowded. He made reservations so we walked right in to our table. As we waited on our deep dish pizza, we ordered the sampler, calamari, traditional wings, regular fries, and garlic parm fries. I could not stop eating the garlic fries. By the time the pizza came, I was full but I managed to eat a slice. It was cheesy and good. I am currently missing this style of pizza. I will be back the next time that I visit here.“
“We had eaten at a Lou Malnati’s several years ago and didn’t care for the pizza we had tried. But since we’ve heard so many people rave about their pizza, we decided to give the place another try this last time we were in Chicago. The restaurant has plenty of seating, but going late on a Thursday night meant the place was pretty empty. We had prompt service, but the pizza does take time to make. Plan on at least 30 minutes to get it delivered to your table. We ordered the Malnati Chicago Classic and added mushrooms. I’m not a big fan of sausage, so I was a bit hesitant to order it. However, I really enjoyed the pizza overall. The sausage wasn’t overly strong, and the tomato sauce had a wonderful sweetness to it. The crust was cooked to perfection, and the mozzarella cheese was plentiful. So did this pizza measure up? Absolutely! We will definitely be back!“
“Best vpn pizza in the aria.. staff is on top of everything and service is great , fast quick and fresh then going there for years love it I just wish they would change up their money once in a while introduce new pizzas introduce new dishes but it’s 100% “
“We order delivery from here about once a month. The food is always hot and delicious. The delivery drivers are always so friendly and personable. The food always arrives at the estimated time of often earlier. We have ordered pizza for a couple parties also and everyone we have talked to there is great! I would highly recommend!“
“The Lou Malnati Salad was the best salad I have ever had. Absolutely outstanding. Minestrone soup was flavorful and rich. Bruschetta was standard. Thin crust cheese pizza was tasty. Loved the cheese blend. Our server was an absolute professional. Attentive, friendly, quick and thoughtful. Vibe was great. Outstanding and comfortable place to bring your family.“
“Good spot... walking in.. it's really busy with a small bar and many tables surrounding/ exposed brick walls. Nice wine list with some good Italian bottles. Good menu with half a dozen apps, homemade pasta dishes & entrees! They also had an excellent *Specials Menu* she said. Started with a couple of glasses of Barbera and some baked clams with the bread of course. Great wine & clams were on the smaller side with an excellent sauce! They are known for their homemade pasta and I decided to try the special. This was a Jalapeño Gnocchi in a Vodka Cream sauce with Corn, etc... it was excellent, cooked perfectly! For dessert we had the Molten Chocolate Cake which was also very good & great ice cream. Waitress was very good & prices are a bit above average but worth it/ you can taste the quality ingredients for sure! Close it out with some Limoncello Shots// talk later“
“Unfortunately, the evening did not start off well. We were told that we had to wait for our reservation for atleast 10-15 min after our original time, even though we showed up early. Then after waiting, we were told another 15 min. Noticed that they seated other groups that were walk ins so I guess they were given priority. We had two young children who were starving so we decided to leave and just as we did, the manager came running after us and asked us to stay. They turned around a table and even through a pizza in the oven for the kids, no charge. The food was good, not great. Felt a little rushed as it was now kind of late for dinner and they were getting ready to close. Wouldn't mind giving them another try but will likely favor other restaurants over this one.“
“The food is authentic Italian and is delicious, especially the Rigatoni Con Sugo Di Carne! You can dine in to enjoy pleasant atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. It's in the center of a strip building between other restaurants that look alike so it's kind of hard to notice. In fact, I was told about the place and I live six blocks from it and drive by it almost every day.I have not tried the pizza since the Rigatoni is so good. If you like genuine Italian food, try it. You will return!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs look like they can roll right in. It's all ground level.“
“I didn't expect much when we stopped in on a Sunday right around lunchtime and no one was there other than a few in the bar. We ended-up very pleasantly surprised as the menu was quite extensive and everyone could find something to eat. We had two people get personal thin pizzas and one kid burger sliders and one adult chicken Parm sliders. Add a few cups of soup and some sodas and we were set. The chicken was very tasty and you got three good size ones with fries so I had one left to send for lunch with the kids. The waitress was lovely and understanding of kids who took forever to choose! We will definitely be back!“
“My daughter and I dined for the first time here today. the food and atmosphere was amazing. we had a couple pizza lunch specials and calamari. The best part was our server, Isael. He was attentive, friendly, and was just noticibly proud of where he works. We will definitely be back and requesting him as our server.“
“This place has great deep dish pizza!! We were up at O'Hare and wanted to get a good local pizza and we hit the jackpot pot! The marinara sauce was superb and the Italian sausage was so flavorful! The service was great! Very attentive and polite! This is a traditional "local hole in the wall" gem!! So glad we went! Highly recommend!!“
“I was very impressed by Fire and Wine. It has a casual vibe. Obviously a local favorite. Each dish was excellent in taste and presentation. Service was great! Both the hostess and server were happy to share recommendations of their favorite dishes. We had the black pepper shrimp appetizer and the pizza bread for the tasty sauce!! We enjoyed our salads and entrees. We were too full for dessert! As we left, I was impressed at how clean the restaurant was- even after serving such a large crowd. Nice place. Good culture. Recommend!“
“I stopped after work for an Italian beef sandwich. It's one of my favorites. And they can get it ready in about 10 minutes while I wait.Fabulous pizza also! I love the extra thin crust they offer. The people there are always friendly, it's a great local restaurant.“
“Had lunch in...chicken parmesan was dry, not enough sauce, chicken tasted old, didn't like. Would have liked ice water at table rather than having to purchase $2 bottles of water. Bread was excellent. Paid and tipped, but no table service, so not sure why.Cannolis that we took to-go for a birthday were fantastic. Rosemary focaccia to-go, also great.“
“I couldn't have picked a better place for my first official Chicago pizza experience - though unassuming at first glance, the food hit all the right notes. My pizza had a perfect thin crust that wasn't tough or too hard, but could still stand up to the toppings. Both the cheese and sausage had great flavor, and neither was greasy. The pizza had just the right amount of sauce, and wasn't too acidic. The slices were large but surprisingly light. While I can't eat beef, I tried a bit of the bread, peppers, and giardiniera from the Italian beef sandwich and it was all delicious. The prices were very reasonable and everything came out super quick. Apart from the food, what really made Gigio's stand out to me was the staff. This is a true community restaurant - they actually know and care about their customers. They remembered my dad even after 30+ years, both Vito and Mama Nitti came out to chat with us and ask about how our family was doing. They even remembered how my grandfather used to order his pizzas back when they lived in the neighborhood. If you're looking for a mom and pop restaurant with delicious pizza and a great local feel, Gigio's is the place for you!“
“Open, very, summery atmosphere! Feels like you're grabbing dinner on vacation to places like Palm Beach or Miami. Such a great place for a brief escape from Chicago winters. Elegant but still casual. Bright colors, nothing dark and dingy like several if the more old school Italian restaurants. Food is excellent! A good variety. I had the linguine with clans and I loved how it wasn't saturated in butter and garlic. Tasted like it does in Italy! Bread was fresh, beet salad was surprisingly delicious, and the Gelato was some of the best I ever had. We got hazelnut and pistachio. Coffee was good and strong. Service was good though we had to ask for several things which should have been already at the table, like grated cheese, salt and pepper, sharing plates should have come with the dessert as they gave enough spoons to know we were all sharing, etc. I've been here when it's jam packed and the service has always been great! This time it was less busy and we had to ask the bus boy for things. But, that being said, the waitress was very polite and immediately took care of requests when she was present. I wanted a table by the window and the host willingly accommodated us by making a 4 top for us. One plus from coming on a lesser busy time was that it was much quieter,l. Usually it's pretty loud in there when it's busy. But I always appreciate the uplifting vacation like atmosphere! I've never been disappointed, and this is probably my 4th time eating at Lucia Rose and will not my last.“
“Okay I have to share this ! Since moving from Schaumburg in September to Itasca . I've been on an endless pizza quest to find a new spot that doesn't require a long drive to call my own go to place for great Pizza Wings and what ever else I may want to try. After trying Itslian Pizza Kitchen, Papa Johns, and Lou Malnati's. all left me still looking for a go to place for Pizza! WELL I'M here to report I FOUND THAT PLACE IN PAPA RAY'S Pizza in Addison!! The Mgr was very friendly at the front counter and after hearing how many Pizza places I've tried in my new neighborhood. He stated matter of factly that I had found what I was looking for HANDS DOWN ! I CANT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THEIR PIZZA,WINGS AND GARLIC BREAD !!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DROP IN AND TRY PAPA RAY'S Pizza in Addison!! TRUST ME!! YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID !!!“
“We picked up our first pizza from Pizza Pavia tonight. The phone staff was friendly and efficient. We arrived early and had a beer at the bar. We only hope that they put in draft beers soon rather than only bottled beers. It looked like they had a nice selection of wine and seltzers too. The bar staff was friendly and helpful. We took our pizza home and ate it. It was absolutely delicious! It reminded us of little Italian in Buffalo Grove that closed years ago. Thin and crispy with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. We will definitely order from Pizza Pavia again and again.“
“First. Let me just say that ive been coming to that area for years and never knew that thjs place existed.. I went through drive-thru (a bit quirky but doable), received my food (the order was correct), got to my destination (east of Manheim rd) the food was still hot. That hot dog and fries was delicious. Next week, im trying the beef.“
“After all these years in business, still the best sub sandwiches in Chicago area. There's a reason why, every morning, they have a huge stack of pre-made American & Italian subs ready for customers to quickly head one and go. Their amount of business is crazy!“
“Panino's Pizzeria was, frankly, a very pleasant surprise. We agreed to meet friends here - they had recommended it. It looked like so many run-of-the-mill pizza/Italian food joints in the Chicago area, that we weren't expecting much. Boy, were we wrong. This is NOT nouvelle cuisine Italian-style, but rather stereotypical, Italian-American food that is hearty and quite tasty. Gratis bread to start the meal, followed by pork meatballs in red sauce and burrata. My wife had the lasagna - very nice portion, and I had the pork chops with broccoli. The wait staff (Fred) was bend over backwards accommodating us. The fried dough with chocolate was amazing. The prices are moderate. And none of us had pizza! We're certain to return to try some (they serve several styles). Huge thumbs up!“
“If you love Indian Food and Pizza you come to the right place. Amazing Traditional Fresh Flavors. You will have a hard time to choose your toppings and sauce. Each flavor is very different. Also topping choices are amazing. From being just vegetarian to adding halal chicken. Then also mango, pineapple, cashews, and so much move. Crust is very nice and artisan with great spices. I loved the Korma and Saag was incredible.Kenny and the staff are very friendlyIt's a little different going into a Beverage Depot to eat. Love the Bollywood Videos and MusicI would love to see more locations open that are nice restaurants with a fun Bollywood Traditional environment.Keep it up look forward to your growthNow go make me a lamb and korma pizza lolSeva Jaijeet SinghVegetarian options: Halal and Many Vegetarian OptionsParking: Ton of parkingWheelchair accessibility: No steps and electric sliding door“
“I've worked at this gem of a restaurant several times in the past promoting Grey Goose but this was my first time dining here. Nicholas our server was excellent. He was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and on point! I ordered the Abruzzese based on his recommendation and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting as well as the ambience. Hana the bartender was amazing! I would definitely recommend Roberto's and will definitely be dining here again.“
“Celebrated our mom's birthday dinner and everything from the atmosphere, staff and food was excellent. I always drove by but had not gone in to try and I'm so happy I did. It's definitely my new go to restaurant and they deliver! I didn't get great pics of the food, but here's a couple.Parking: The restaurant is in a small shopping strip but there's plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: My kid loved the chicken tenders and fries.“
“My goodness what a sweet gem of a place. Off the beaten path and I would’ve never gone here if it wasn’t for an event. They accommodated our group of 12 and were so attentive. We ordered most everything on the menu including bolognese, carbonara, all sorts of salads, crispiest fries, a couple of pizzas. Everything was solid and as hoped. The service was outstanding. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, very casual. Most people dinning appeared to be regulars there and we could see why. If you’re in the area, definitely give this place a try.“
“Great experience. Try to get in another place down the street and it was packed and didn’t take reservations. Decided to call and the manager answered and was able to accommodate five of us in front of a TV at a table to watch March madness . I’m not sure if it was recently renovated, but it was very clean and well kept. The food is wonderful. We had some deep dish and some thin crust. It was so authentic & so delicious!“
“Monzano salad was delicious. Pasta w vodka sauce tasty, if not too exciting. Meatballs were tender and very good. Lentil soup was fantastic, flavorful though not very hot. Service was ok. Attentive at first but No one came to clear dishes, though it wasn't busy. They will bring food out as soon as it ready, so if you want to enjoy soup or appetizers before your meal, order them separately.“
“Thank you so much for catering our family’s “Christmas in July “ party yesterday. Everyone raved about the food. I’m still getting texts today saying how “awesome “ “delicious” “fantastic “ the food was. They can’t wait to do it again! THANKS so much.. Everything was perfect: the delivery time, set-up, etc. Was perfect. Can’t thank enough. Terrie“
“Dino’s Pizza is amazing! Our server John was friendly and helpful!! We order a non-traditional deep dish (no tomatoes). It’s was delicious! The crust smelled like it came from a bakery!!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options and can make a pizza without nightshades.Kid-friendliness: Great family atmosphere!“
“Definitely one of the top 5 pizza slices I have ever had. The jumbo slice is not only the biggest slice I have had, they have to cut it in half for you to really enjoy. I had the garlic dressing for the salad and it was amazing. I can't wait to try out the other items in menu. Best of all the workers are really nice, I Think it maybe a family owned business where you get that personal attention unlike corporate restaurants. Definitely going again.“
“We ordered the Supreme pan pizza and a side of Eggplant Parmigiano. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I grew up in an Italian family and can say from experience this was the real deal. I definitely recommend that you check them out, you won't be disappointed.“
“I have driven by this place about 8,000 times and never paid much attention to it so when my BF suggested we go there, I was happy to give it a try! There is easy parking in a lot right in front. The ambiance is simple and cozy with a plentiful amount of tables. It has a family owned vibe which I appreciate. We each ordered our own pizza and equally enjoyed them. One veggie + arugula and one pepperoni + olive. A nearby table ordered a salad and I will definitely do the same next time as it looked large and fresh! I'm so glad to have this in the neighborhood and will certainly be back again soon. Thank you.“
“I would definitely recommend this place!! Ive been to this location a few times, and ive never been disappointed. The food is delicious, and worth the money. They have a great variety of food to choice from which is nice. Lili B. has excellent customer service. She's always so nice and she loves her job and takes pride in it.“
“First time trying their pizza due to great reviews & recommended by friends. I love a good tavern style crust. Placed a carryout order & was super excited to try this pizza out! Ordered a pan w/roast beef & green pepper and thin crust well done w/sausage, pepperoni & mushrooms. Pizza looked great & was very tasty...they make a very savory sauce. Roast beef was super tender & not dry, but could use a little more flavor. Pan pizza had a generous amount of cheese which I appreciated. Toppings were fresh, good sausage but didn't detect much fennel (if you like that, I do). If I gave my 2 cents, I'd say the cheese wasn't full of flavor and cheese can really make all the difference to a tasty pie. Wasn't bad, but I've had better. Crust on the thin was good if not somewhat chewy/tough, same with pan. Not a deal breaker, but this pizza has so much potential to be top notch! A few kinks, but overall tasty. And as far as price, it is higher than average but worth it if you crave it again. Not sure how they determine topping charges because I was never given an itemized receipt. They should give receipts to customers.“
“We chose Billy Bricks to cater our wedding and cannot recommend them more. We loved the idea of elevated pizza for our wedding, it was a perfect balance of comfort food and wedding elegance. Billy Bricks worked with us when our guest list was unexpectedly less than the amount we originally predicted and let us tweak the package to fit our needs. Everyone raved about the food even months after our wedding, we don't regret our decision one bit.“
“The waiter and cook that were working there acted like they knew how to really treat people. And they did. This place has good food and staff that acts like they want it to succeed. They cared about us as customers and they have future restaurant owners written all over them. The low volume 50's music told me these people know what's up“
“Went here after coming directly from the airport. Got the pasta primavera, which was decent. Flavor was good, but the sauce was a bit watery and the vegetables could have been chopped more finely. Also ordered a pizza but I have yet to eat it.Service was friendly and the wait was short since it was almost closing. The menu has a ton of options where it's a bit overwhelming - this place makes everything. Seating is very limited, so I'd recommend getting takeout.“
