“Had an amazing lunch!!! Food selection is amazing. I wound up with the Tuna Poke Bowl and it didn’t disappoint. Our waitstaff was attentive to detail. I am not a big dessert person when I go out, but the Key Lime Pie was calling our names. SOOOOO good!!! Thank you for a great meal. We will be back very soon.“

“Wow! Just wow!!! Posto 31 has the best happy hour I've had in a long time. My amazing friend and I love doing happy hour during the week at different places around town and came across Posto 31. We decided to give it a try and we were blown away. The food was deliciously good. The filet sliders were cooked at medium rare and melted in your mouth like butter. The meatballs are to die for. Like by far the best meatball ever. The creamy polenta and sauce tied it all together. The whipped honey ricotta sesame toast is heaven sent. That there alone is a dessert for me. The creamy sauce from the freshly made rigatoni is a dream and made me think I was in someone's kitchen in Italy. Plus the strawberry thyme drink made by Abraham was the bomb! I'm coming back for that one again. The service was fast and the staff were so nice. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The ambiance is very upscale to me, super clean and the decor is beautifully done. Also shout out to the amazing couple we got to meet during our happy hour named Mark and Christian! I totally wished I got their number. They made our first visit so much fun and we got to enjoy a shot of Lemoncello that is also house made with them. Kudos to the chef and owner!! Such an amazing vibe. See ya'll again soon!“

“Awesome steakhouse in Rivers casino! We love Gibson's/Hugo's downtown, so it's always fun to go to this location at the casino. Steak, salads, cocktails, wine, desserts, all amazing! Service is great and the manager always seems to be around and checking in with tables. Always a fantastic experience“

“Absolutely adorable decor as you step into this neighborhood local joint, filled with music legend memorabilia and tv's lit with tunes from Queen. The menu is simple with each burger having its own personality. Each sandwich can be made into a chicken sandwich or a meatless veggie option as well. Had the curds and Parmesan fries on the side. Cute trivia cards to entertain you and your table guests. Was excellent quality food, and wonderfully friendly service.“

“Havent eaten here so cant comment on food (heard it is good though). If you like to play darts this is a great place to go. They sponsor a number of different teams and have a great back room dedicated to darts and a bi-weekly blind draw on Wednesdays. Everybody is friendly. Recommend checking it out! Good beer specials. Nice “

“We were told about this place when my wife lamented the closure of a few good Czech restaurants (Czech plaza, and Bohemian Crystal) to a Czech lady who was trick or treating with her child in our neighborhood. She recommended this place and we've now gone numerous times.I've had the privilege of eating beef goulash in Prague over the years and this restaurant is about as close to the quality you get over in Europe you can get.The food, the service and the atmosphere are phenomenal. We will keep coming back and will bring friends and family with so they can experience the high quality food and service here.“
“Nice, very tiny place. Good beer. Seating is not the most comfortable, lots of backless bar stools and small tables. Within the location is a business where they press cremated ashes into diamonds. Fine. But then brewery stuff is stored in the dead people processing partitioned space. I don't get it.“

“I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place is! Andrew was a wonderful server and very helpful. This place makes everything well. The burgers looked amazing. I selected a special of Garlic rigatoni and sausage. I also had the beet salad which was really, really good. This place is very comfy and the staff is fantastic from front of the house to back!“

“Wanted to check out riverside and it's located nicely in their downtown area. Parking is pretty easy. We did like the drinks and the decor was unique. The downside was that it took such a long time to get our drinks despite there being multiple servers and Or bartenders. Also, they need to update their drink prices and include information on surcharges. It was annoying to see the bill.“

“Been going for many years and every time has been consistently great, food always cooked as asked and very good steaks. Alternatives are also good and waitstaff has always been really good at suggesting other options and explaining well. Will definitely keep coming back!“
“We went for St. Patrick's Day after the kids stuff, around 7:00. Wasn't over crowded, and we got a seat at one of the long tables. Both bands delivered the goods. We were singing, dancing and having a great time until the last band finished up around 11:30. The service is superb. How they keep orders straight, mix great cocktails, don't spill in the crowd.?..all while smiling and being nice...amazing. We go often and will remain loyal.“
“We were in the area and remembered that Two Chefs was down the street. We have emotional ties to this restaurant because they catered our wedding in 2011 and we were very impressed with their food. The waitress greeted us at the door and was very professional, polite, and well dressed. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie, it was very flavorful. The chicken was very tender and the crust was flaky like you would expect. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli it was so delicious and brought back memories. We will be back for sure when we are in the area again. If your in the area, I recommend giving this place a try!“
“Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. They are serious about their libations and happy to share their knowledge. I really like this place. Good vibe and great drinks. Check it out. Not sure why some clown gave it two stars. But reading that review, it's the poster who is confused, not the establishment. Cheers!“

“They only serve lunch only during the weekdays (no dinner and no weekends). However it is the best lunch around! It's like your mom went in the kitchen and made it for you. Soups are made from scratch and they are delicious. The BLT on rye is outstanding. And if they have it, you have to try the potato salad. This is a bar with a Northwoods atmosphere that has affordable prices but there are some tables to sit at. They also have a Friday fish special.“

“Hi guys, just wanna let you guys know the garage bar in sandwiches is a great spot to have food. The service was OK. Not the best but the food makes everything better. Unfortunately the drinks were trash. I shouldn’t say trash because that’s understatement. They are horrible they taste nothing but syrup don’t get drinks or specialty drinks here get anything on tap that was better, good luck“

“We had a great time here. The cocktail menu was different and has Indian touch to various standard American fare.Portions were good sized and spice levels are mild. We had to specify “spicy” to get spice level to a “normal” level. They have decent vegetarian choices. But I wish they had some creative choices for veg entrees too“

“Local bar that we walked to to get a few drinks on st Patrick's day. The specials were nice but we ended up getting some Guinness and car bombs. I got to try malort for the first time (not really a fan) prices were fine. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Wasn't too crowded. Had video poker inside which is something I'm not used to due to not being from the Midwest. I'd swing by and get some drinks here again“

“The service, food, and ambience are all consistently impeccable. I highly recommend the polenta with Ragu. Ours this time was pork shoulder Ragu, and it was unbelievably good! Get it with a side of bread for an extra treat! Plenty to share or a hearty entrée for one.“

“I don't like to leave a review of a place I've been to only once. Needless to say, I have been to The Works Tavern a few times and it's some of the best food in Chicago, especially on the south side. Mike is a culinary expert and my last visit proved it. I legitimately had the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had. The steak was juicy, the bread was soft and the cheese was super cheesy (10/10).The food is always fresh, the beer is always cold and my kids love the pizza! On our last visit, we ordered the fried zucchini, a pepperoni pizza, wings, and the Philly cheesesteak. Everything was delicious and we washed it down with $3 Pacifico beers. Can't beat that.“

“One of our family favorite places to go. The food is always wonderful! Wait staff always kind and considerate and we love the atmosphere there. If you haven't tried the burgers you are missing out. I can never finish one and they make great left overs. Keep up with great job Country House!“
“The Newark Nook is one of the more famous speakeasy's on Chicago's Northwest side. While it is most famous for being Milton S. Hershey's preferred watering hole when he visited Chicago for the 1893 World's Fair, it was also the scene of several gangland shootings in the 1920's, and was built on the site of a civil war battle where famed wild Buffalo hunter, Col. Michael Gallen, was killed. Today the bar is mostly known for its extensive cocktail list and secret lounge area. The food is prepared by a former James Beard award winning chef but is a bit too fancy to my taste, but everything is very nice. The Colonel Gallen Buffalo Nachos are stellar and include a commemorative plate that can be taken home.“

“Excellent choice for Restaurant week. You can't go wrong with the three course option or four. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. The spiced margarita was delicious. One suggestion- use Tajin instead of salt on the rim. This was our first time here. Looking forward to seeing the space during the summer. All of our guest enjoyed the night. See you soon.“

“The food at Saban's can't be beat. We had the pork chops. They were cooked to perfection, delicious, beautiful presentation, plentiful amounts enough for another meal. The service was great. “Polish food buffet. Personal favorite is the savory tripe soup.Returned 4 years later. The interior has been updated. The food is still great. What I want to focus on is the parking. There is metered street parking and a small lot across Natchez Ave. There is an auxiliary lot to the west of the restaurant.Parking: The parking lot across Natchez Ave is tight; it's really tight. They obviously wanted to maximize the number of spaces and they sure did. If someone parks a huge SUV (Escalade or Excursion) or a long pick-up (F-250), you are in trouble. Plenty of street parking. It is metered until 6pm at $2.50 an hourly. The auxiliary lot was blocked by a delivery truk.“
“Just stopped in coz i needed the bathroom. A quick shot and a sip of water and out the door. It looked interesting and the bartender was friendly, especially since no one was in the place on a Sunday afternoon. I will return for some drinking next time I am in the area.“
“Came here for Samantha’s birthday party November 25th and what more can I say… such a blast. Music and drinks were amazing. Cant say how much the owner Sway takes care of his clients and creates a great atmosphere. Would 100% recommend anyone to come here and have a good time!“

“An excellent restaurant for comfy Italian food (with some neighborhood fares, such as burgers and sliders). Menu is stacked mostly with approachable and familiar items, and service is friendly and attentive. It is not cheap, but appropriate for the quality of food and service.“
“The place is nice been going into the place here and there and everytime did not disappoint. The bartenders are very nice and cool, eager to play pool and vibe to make the time well spent. Supporting a female owned bar it's awesome to support.“
“I'll be honest with you--I did not want to write this review. I want to keep the Friendly Tap Community a secret. You won't find any place like it. They've got a bar, a coffee shop, live music, open mic night, music lessons, an 80s arcade machine with multiple games, snacks and pizza, and a gallery for shows and other events. Go there often enough and your name will be learned not only by the super-friendly staff, but by other patrons as well. Friendly's lives up to its name well beyond what you may expect. If you can only come here once, come on a Thursday night. There's almost always live music on Thursdays--see my video for an example. If you do go on a Thursday, ask for me so I can welcome you personally. ?Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome anytime but you probably want to keep younger ones during the daytime hours. It can get loud in the evenings. There are games and seating in the room next to the bar but it may be occupied by a band or party at night.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door floors are fairly level with the external ground. It may be easier to enter through the coffee shop as the bar area has stools to navigate in a wheel chair.“

“I have ordered food for carry out from Krafted Burger Bar + Tap twice. This restaurant was highly recommended by an acquaintance and I also highly recommend this place! Both of my carry-out experiences were excellent - food and service. I have ordered a few different things, and they were all delicious, fresh, packed well for carryout, plentiful servings, great quality! DO NOT SKIP DESSERT - just a hint! The service has been courteous and caring each time I have ordered. I look forward to carrying out again and/or dining in soon!“

“I came to this place with my wife because we enjoy having a few cheap drinks and trying our luck with the slots. Fortunately I won $75 from a $20, would have been the $120 but I pushed my luck. “You got to try it. Great Food, Service and Presentation. How can you go wrong. Seafood is King here and the sides are fantastic- you get a choice of two with every meal. I'm not fond of carrot cake, so I have not tried it but believe me when I say everyone is talking about it both inside and outside of this restaurant- so if you are a fan- go for it!! Great selection in the Stella Artois non alcoholic beer too. Thanks.“

“Smitty's ale house is at the location of the old stores, the spirits bar not the strip club. They really did not change much from the outside. The new owners updated the bathrooms, looks like they expanded the kitchen and removed the dj booth. All probably good moves, based off of the history. The aaa staff was nice and engaging. The crowd for a bears Sunday was a lot lighter than the places previously iteration . That may be due to the bears sucking this year though. There was also less staff but enough for the limited crowd. For an ale works they had pretty standard beers on tap. Looked like only one rotating tap out of the 10 on the taps. Not a very deep option for beer needs. I do think any bar named Smitty's should have guineas on tap . I had the steak quesadillas. They were solid bar food. Overall thisplace is worth the stop but needs a bit more to stand out.“

“Today was a better day! Order was perfect. Called in and food was ready as promised 15 minutes. Carne asada ( they use lomo NOT arrachera ) was cooked and seasoned well. Comes with rice and beans. Steak is topped with grilled jalapeno and onions. REALLY good guacamole and chips. They don't use peppers so it wasn't spicy, which is perfect for me I learned today this location seats up to 110ppl and is rented out for parties for free with food purchase. You can decorate as you like. Also they have another location at 4949 Butterfield in Hillside“
