“Lunar Brewing Company is located in suburban Villa Park. My love and I would normally not be anywhere near Villa Park, but we tagged along with our friends for an eats-and-drinks excursion in the 'burbs earlier this summer. We stopped in for some drinks here, and there is an extensive list of beverages to choose from. The interior is plastered with all sorts of beer memorabilia and other random fun things. “I always come in, and bridget is simply delightful.. you usually see the same faces, get to know everyone and say hello.. I MISS THE $10 PLAY THOUGH. I get texts for $5 that's nice. pizza is decent for $5 I wouldn't stop in just to eat but ok comparable to chuck e cheese or maybe a step down from there and little ceasars, but it's perfect cheap snack while on the slots“
“Mondays and Tuesdays are $1 tacos, but smaller than normal, but they are $1 , their locations do $2.. villa park does $1.. I get it every week, and every time it’s hot fresh and tastes amazing ! Staff is always friendly , service is fast. I call and order as I’m getting in the car , by the the time I drive the 2 miles it’s almost ready.. I have ordered on other days and the food quality is always consistent and delicious. Pricing maybe be a tad higher, but then again everything now a days is high. The hot sauce … is Hot and has great flavor.I’ve never dined in, but the the place is always nice and clean and appears comfortable. They do have alcohol, I don’t drink so I can’t comment on that. It’s definitely my weekly go to spot at the start of my week.. and I eat Mexican food very oftenParking: Plenty of parking with 2 entrances, 1 right off St. Charles, and 1 off the side street.. if I recall there are 2-3 handicap spots alsoKid-friendliness: I do t have kids , but I’ve seen them in there and my friends have been in there with theirs after my recommendation.. haven’t heard anything negativeWheelchair accessibility: There are no steps or ramps and the seating can handle a wheel easily, I don’t use one, but I have gone in with a blow out back and a huge plastic boot.“
“This place has a special place in my heart for its karaoke. The drinks are good enough, but the karaoke is so much fun! The DJ, Eric, is so talented and fun. Definitely one of my favorite places in the western suburbs. If you love karaoke, you have to check it out.“
“Always have a good time at Mahoney's every time I'm in town I always go the little local bar They don't serve food but there's plenty around to get something to eat and they will deliver to the place and you can eat there , nice little patio smoking area in the back highly recommended nice place“
“Delicious food! I have been few times because I love the machetes and tacos de cabeza. Today I decided to try a cemita. Omg delicious! I could not even get a picture of it. It was really, really good. “Demitos SaIoon I grew up in villa Park, IL. I moved, but this was always my favorite bar to go to. The bartenders are great, the owners are too. It has a great friendly atmosphere, slot machines, pool table, and outside patio with a bar. I always had a great time when I went there. Oh, and also live music sometimes. Mostly on the weekends. Just know, on the weekends this place gets crowded. Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Mahoney's across the street. It is a very bad environment.“
“Had an amazing lunch!!! Food selection is amazing. I wound up with the Tuna Poke Bowl and it didn’t disappoint. Our waitstaff was attentive to detail. I am not a big dessert person when I go out, but the Key Lime Pie was calling our names. SOOOOO good!!! Thank you for a great meal. We will be back very soon.“
“They only serve lunch only during the weekdays (no dinner and no weekends). However it is the best lunch around! It's like your mom went in the kitchen and made it for you. Soups are made from scratch and they are delicious. The BLT on rye is outstanding. And if they have it, you have to try the potato salad. This is a bar with a Northwoods atmosphere that has affordable prices but there are some tables to sit at. They also have a Friday fish special.“
