“My wife and I ate here Saturday night. We were early 5:15, so no wait and , in fact, we were only ones there. By the time we left the place filled up. The food was delicious. We started with champignones rellenos and a seafood paella and the meat paella and finished with the flan. Portions were very generous . The service was attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend this family owned restaurant for authentic Spanish cuisine.”

Every time I sit down in a booth it makes me feel like i can talk about nothing, (a Seinfeld reference). The menu is full of classic diner dishes, from hearty breakfast options to juicy burgers and sandwiches to homemade soups and salads. I particularly enjoyed the Tuna melt, which was perfectly put together with just the right amount of cheese and tune on white bread. The French toast was also excellent, with a soft and fluffy texture that melted in my mouth. But if you want the traditional, just order the all American breakfast, 2 sunny side up eggs with hash browns and two slices of bread, along with a cup of coffee. Everything is delicious. The staff at De Mar's are friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. They were quick to offer suggestions on what to order and were always on hand to refill drinks or answer any questions. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. There is plenty of seating, so you won't have to wait long to be seated, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Overall, I highly recommend De Mar's to anyone looking for a traditional American diner experience. So if you are in the area of Blue Island this restaurant It's a gem, that I plan on returning to in the future.”

“1st time here, and it was so cute on the inside and the food...I got a burger, and it was really delicious. I'm a big burger person, and I really enjoyed it. I try to avoid fries in general, but these were so good I couldn't help myself. I would absolutely go back and get the same thing, and I'm sure everything is amazing here, but that burger was really so delicious. Great atmosphere, everyone seems really nice. Great gaming section as well. Play and eat!”

“What an excepcional place for mexican seafood. Very clean location. Waitress was great. They were all clean and professionally dressed. Food was great. Food was delicious. I even saw the waitress wipe the seats down after customers leave. The cleaniness of this place is the best. Mouthwatering food. 1st time here will defenitely be back. Little pricey but its ok, they need to make money as well. 5 starts all the way around. No issues with parking as well.”

“This is a review for a cool little dive bar that I went to recently. It had a pool table, slot machines, and a jukebox - everything you need for a good night out. The staff were really friendly and there was a good mix of regulars and visitors. The vibe was relaxed and unpretentious which made it the perfect spot to hang out with friends. The drinks were reasonably priced and they had a good selection of beer, wine, and spirits. And of course, the jukebox was awesome - they had something for everyone! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a fun night out.”
