“Ordered a small thin crust from uber eats juss being lazy & not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza sauce is very tasty, wish I had ordered it on the side for dipping my pizza in. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“

“The food has been fantastic every time I’ve been ordering. It’s so good I’m making it a point to try a new menu item with each order. With the addition of a breakfast menu it will be awhile before I get through the everthing, but worth it.Wonderful people, great service too!“

“Mesler was good! I wasn't blown away and I would not say best brunch of my life, but the entire experience was nice and I would certainly go back. I thought the portions were a bit small for the price, but still very tasty. The space was very nice as well! Love that there were books all over the main dining area. We started with the Dorchester, a cosmopolitan, and another drink I forget the name of. SO STRONG WHEWWW ?‍? I was definitely breathing heavy. 10 out of 10. For food we did the burger, the shrimp & grits, and the chicken and pearl waffles. They were good, not the best I've had in my life, but still good. Our server was very kind and attentive and the vibe was great. Will be returning!“

“My co-workers and I stopped by this establishment today for lunch. Walked in to some really nice decor! Very clean also! Lunch time menu doesn't have a lot of options but the choice were definitely good ones! I went with the chicken tips! When I tell you this was the best bbq I've ever tasted! The chicken was seasoned so good! Some places put all the flavor into the sauce and forget to season the meat but not the Woodlawn! I was truly impressed! “We had a butt load of fun here. My son’s school has a father and son night and boy oh boy were we glad we went. There is a ton to do here. Games, basketball, bowling, bumper cars, ax throwing just to name a few.We stay for about 2hrs and barely scratched the surface of what there was to do.We will definitely be back with the rest of the family next time.“

“The burger I had was great and cooked to perfection! I asked for medium and that’s what they gave me. Fries would have been perfect except they had way too much salt on them. Bartender didn’t come back to check on me after delivering my food but she was nice and the drink she recommended was delicious and had the right amount of alcohol to get you right. “For all of you chili lovers out there, you have to come out and try Rasta Chili Hut! I had an amazing experience here! The owner is very warm and welcoming, all of the food is made from scratch and with LOVE! Come and see for yourself! I had the vegetarian chili and the first bite was instant nostalgia! It brought back memories of coming home on a cold, rainy autumn day to a comforting bowl of homemade chili and board games with my family. Yes, it was THAT GOOD! Beyond the amazing chili, I also ordered the fried plantain and hands down it was the best that I have ever had from any restaurant in my life! “This place is all about living local and eating well as it says on their door coming in. The room is large with comfortable booths. I went early ahead of the crowd. Maria was attentive to what I wanted and made recommendations that I believe were spot on. Based on her recommendations, I went with Scotched Eggs? Hardened egg with a hollandaise sauce on top. It was placed over a pesto sauce that had a nice "bite" to it. Wrapped with some type of pork. Phenomenal!!! Gotta get back here to try out the other recommendations from Maria.“

“I like this restaurant, my favorite neighborhood place for breakfast in Chicago. Like going to moms house. They used to have all booths since covid they changed to tables, which took away some of the welcoming feelings. But I like it just the same. Great breakfast home fries and biscuit.“

“I've been meaning to stop by this restaurant for the longest although they don't have any vegan options, I ordered the asparagus, broccoli, and waffle fries which I'm sure was cooked in butter, but I had to support this black owned business with more than just a drink purchase. The Sizzle drink was really tasty and a bday was going on at the time I visit, so it was a double treat to get to enjoy the DJ with all of the classics. I look forward to returning with more of variety.“

“La Voute is a hidden gem in the south suburbs. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our seafood- centric dinner. My appetizer was a special for the night. Mushroom risotto with scallops. The risotto was creamy and flavorful with slices of mushrooms. The grilled scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband had the mussels in white wine, which he said were delicious and garlicky. I had the salmon special and he had the mahi-mahi special, which were recommended by our waiter. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. We split a crème brûlée for dessert. It was a creamy not-too-sweet end to a great meal. Presentation of each dish was beautiful. We will be back!“

“I came twice on two separate occasions and the food was excellent both times. I’ve only had an Italian beef, and mozzarella sticks from here. The mozzarella sticks were ok, but they were cold when they got to me so I haven’t tried them fresh from the store. The Italian beefs never disappoint. I only come for a beef when I want a good one.“
