“It's a Chicago Westside classic!? Ordering and receiving your food takes literally minutes! And they have plenty of parking! This is very good because the restaurant is situated at a very busy intersection of Grand and Pulaski. My only other slight gripe is that sometimes they tend to over salt the fries a bit, which isn't good if you're trying to lower your cholesterol intake, but it's a seldom issue. “I've tried many fancy, trendy, and much more expensive burgers but I still prefer the big baby cheeseburger (with small fries of course). It came out piping hot (drools). While it is two patties, the burger itself is not huge (which I consider to be a good thing) and the portion is very reasonable. “We came to the Darien area for some medical related stuff and needed some lunch. I wanted to try something that wasn't a chain (there's plenty of it in the area!) so we ended up at Teddy's. My boyfriend and I were greeted by a young guy at the counter and an older man, who I can only assume was the owner. We both got cheesy italian beef sandwiches and split a jumbo cheese fry. I'm not too crazy about italian beef (especially the soggy bread) but my sandwich was loaded with meat!! The mozzarella cheese under the meat was tasty too. Fries are crinkle cut and the cheese is pretty standard cheese sauce. Our two sandwiches, fries, and drinks came to $33. Good food, reasonable prices, and I'm glad we came here instead of a chain fast food place.“

Quality ingredients, burgers cooked perfectly, fresh shredded lettuce, tomato slices, dill pickle and mustard. Add your own ketchup or whatever. It's the little extra touches which can make a burger special. Donald's toasts the bun! Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and perfectly salted. My wife had the Gyros Special, and she loved the extra onions and the generous sauce. The meat is tasty, and the pita is toasted. Solid gyros! I'm eating in the restaurant on a frigid evening and while the dining room is not full, there is a steady stream of customers coming through.
