“we had tofu pad thai and tofu green curry noodles and they were both amazing. i love thai food and have been to at least 10 diff thai places in different states too, but this is hands down in my top three favorites. the tofu in my pad thai was cooked to perfection, crispy but not too much and the portions were great. we loved the thai tea from here too, their style was more creamy than i’ve had at other places (or how i make it myself) but it was tasty and makes me want to make it like that at home :) great service too everyone was nice and it was great thank you“

“What an absolutely wonderful experience! The people working were helpful, kind and full of suggestions. We got a tiramisu "cookie" which had the texture of a moon pie, not sweet, just perfect in flavor. The brioche with sausage, egg, cheese paired perfectly with a coffee. The shortbread with dark chocolate, sea salt and strawberries was delightful. Lastly, the chocolate chip, sea salt and tahini cookie was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I'm definitely coming back. For those flavors it was worth every penny.“

“This BBQ place is a gem in Chicago, the brisket was tender, well sliced and neatly plated with the rest of the sides. The slaw was a nice free side that I need the recipe for, slaw gets a lot of hate but this was pretty good. Pleasantly surprised we found this place and will definitely go again.“

“Great family owned restaurant on quaint street in downtown Westmont. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Go on Friday night- live jazz! Food was wonderful- homemade pasta with banana peppers was delicious. Owner checks in with each table to make sure everything is going well. “I’ve been going to Addis for the past 7 years and rarely skip a day… What drew me in was the very best tasting pour over that I’ve ever had and what keeps me coming back is the family feeling: from the friendly crew behind the counter to the local residents who make Addis a must have part of their daily routine, this place is well worth a try. “ERIS not only makes some of the best ciders but also some incredible food, all within a comfortable industrial-chic space (and tons of outdoor seating to boot). Nowhere else in the world would I be able to find a dry cider aged in Malort barrels (Apfel Ort) and holy cow, I ordered it twice! For a more standard drink they also have lots of ciders and a few beers on tap. The fried pickles, fish and chips, burgers and fries are all top-notch. I can't wait to go back!Vegetarian options: My wife tried the cauliflower wrap which was a deliciously spicy vegetarian option. The fried pickles are also great!“

It all started a few months ago of seeing this business online ...I could not manage to get the time right I was too late or to early or it was closed....But finally the stars ALIGNED and on Saturday I pulled up at 10:30am waiting for the 11am opening...to buy six amazing, delicious and delightful moo-moo cheesecakes (2 keylimes 3 pecan delight and 1 strawberry)...a bowl of chili and a candle ..!I met one of the owners who went above and beyond in customer service, she was kind, patient and efficient she didn't let me wait for the chili ,which I appreciated.The strawberry was the tester cheesecake which both my mother and daughter had a sample of we all loved and enjoyed this cheesecake especially my self which I put the remaining into the freezer to get cold quick ( best decision) to eat in the dark sitting at the kitchen table savoring the freshness the sweet tartness of the strawberries the sweet smoothness of the cheesecake the buttery graham crust slightly sweet whipped cream omg...I will be coming back for more soon..another reason why to support this amazing business is they help alot and give back to the community, they offer their shop for events."There the Cheesecake People".“

“Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. “Came in on Thursday lunch and sat at the bar. Stephanie the lovely bartender, was friendly , polite , attentive , and gorgeous. She had a great personality and attitude. I ordered a bacon , mushroom, and Swiss burger (off menu) and she was more than happy to accommodate me. Turkey chili was fabulous and so was my Bloody Mary. Stephanie was a true professional! Will be coming back to see her in the near future!“

“I stopped by BlackBerry market on yesterday and the atmosphere was busy but flowed smoothly. The smell of coffee was invigorating and I got the drip coffee , a chocolate chip cookie, iced peppermint coffee and a raspberry lemon muffin!! Service was smooth and effective, the breakfast items were yummy and fresh!! The coffee of the coffee!! Strong yet tranquil!! Fresh drip is self serve!! Loved that! The iced peppermint coffee was just what I needed !! Let me say this.. after breakfast and coffee.. I came home cooked a full dinner and washed clothing and was done before 1pm! lol energy!!!! I debated about my dessert but opted for the berry cake which also was delicious. I had breaded pork tenderloin, sweet/sour sauerkraut and potato dumplings, soup plus the berry cake dessert. “So good! They do an amazing job with their parties and sandwiches. Their hours are limited so plan accordingly. If you arrive after 10am the selection will be limited as more than half the pastries will have sold out... it's that good! Seating indoors and outdoors.“

“Sweet Ali's is amazing from the baked goods themselves to the service! There was a mix up with my order on their end and they rectified it by driving out the correct ones to me in the same day since I needed them for Easter. The customer service is amazing!!! I will recommend them over and over! (The Key lime pie and Tiramisu are both so delicious! My dad said the eggplant Parmesan was delicious.) So happy they exist for us gluten free peeps! (Non-gf people love their goods as well!). Have to add... they even gave us beautiful, delicious cupcakes when they delivered the quiches!“

“Let me start off this review by stating that i do not write reviews, never have and will not start to, BUTT this cafe is so underrated! I need everyone to understand how good their food and drinks are. Now just to clarify I know nothing about protein or calories but I do know a little something about GOOD FOOD. Ive been going to this location for over a year now and have had the opportunity to try their different menu items, Ive also had the pleasure to get to know one of their managers, Taylor. A very lovely woman, comfortable aura and I always have pleasant conversations with her. Moving on to their food and drinks, the first thing Ive ever tried was a regular chicken panini and my lord that first bite was immaculate. The way they stacked all the ingredients and panini pressed the sandwich bread makes eating it so much fun. ALSO they add apples...APPLESSS and guess what? its so fricking good, something about the sweet crisp taste of apple and the savory/salty meats and spice goes so well together. ugh 10/10. The next thing I got to try was their arroz caldo soup. It transported me back to 8 years old and it was one of those very unforgiving cold days, just coming back from school, opening the front door to the smell of your grandparent's or parent's caldo de res (latinos know) proceeding to have 2 and half bowls then knocking out. Yeah 9/10 good soup. Next was smoothies and Im not going into detail on the smoothies, they were very delicious and filled me up quite right, they were good size for the price and all are very different. The ones Ive tried were the power monkey (my favorite ughhh so good) the twenty 5 thirty 2 (very filling) and the super mario (somehow feels like im drinking some type of dessert and i love that). lovee 9.5/10. The last items Ive tried were the detox shots and oh boy.. Ive tried the good cocktail and the ginger shot. I didn't know that my bowels had the power to go into overdrive like that but they did. These shots for sure do what they claim to do and I love that I get exactly what I pay for. 9/10 but making sure to plan the day accordingly. The cafe is very chill and decorated nicely, clean and order to pickup time is quick (unless busy but dont be a douchebag and rush a masterpiece) I always go with my usual and its always so consistently delicious. Like I said earlier managers/employees are very welcoming and polite, even the boss will come and have a conversation with you and he is very nice and has jokes (funny guy over here). They also have another location in Wicker Park and it is also very nice, slightly bigger so there is more seating and has the same quality of food and drinks. And they do have more menu items so take a look. overall 9.5/10“

“Someone posted on FB that kufiya's could be found here. So I went with my daughter and had a lovely experience. There was so much stuff I love to eat in here! Nuts, dried fruit, fresh delicious baklava, & pickled turnips. And they have my favorite soap made in Palestine (it's in the back section of the store.) The men inside were very welcoming and helpful. My husband is now in love with their fresh ground coffee. Wish I knew about this place sooner. I must have passed it a million times. An a frame sidewalk sign or something the cars can see and this place will be packed.“

“It is not a bad place to deliver a load. Arrived at 6 a.m.. Appointment However, it is a truck friendly place. If you are delivering a load, you will most likely have to back in on dock # 7, which is the end of the building. It is not too bad. If you have trucks in others docks, it is tight and could be a nightmare. Most people use blind-backing. You can also use driver side backing, but you have to maneuver quite a bit. Take your times. You will be alright so you can test your backing skills.“

“These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!“

“Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.“

“Twice a year for the past two years, orders have been placed to stock up on the most amazing gluten free pizzas and empanadas from Cassava. The texture of the cassava dough is perfect. When cooked correctly, the outside crust offers an amazing crispness, while the warm inside bread is soft and chewy. The fillings and toppings are plentiful and taste amazing.
