“The barista was friendly and made our coffee quickly. But it was lukewarm warm. Would recommend double checking before leaving. Also, the dog “Chanel” is not always there, recommend calling and checking if you are coming to specially meet her.“

“This was our first time in as we just moved to the neighborhood and we loved it! We had come from dinner but decided we wanted some snacks. We had the fried pickles, pretzels, & ice cream with churros-- I was surprised but oh so happy they had some kind of dessert. The bartender was a super nice guy-- very friendly. He checked on us often and never left us waiting for anything. The interior was really cute and about what you expect for a corner/ neighborhood bar. We will for sure be back-- so glad we gave it a try!“

“This is the most amazing cocktail bar I’ve ever been to and it’s not even close. The size of the bar is perfectly intimate; the music selection is perfectly chill; the neighborhood vibe isn’t off putting to strangers (I’m from San Francisco) and very welcoming overall; the decor is beautiful, not too posh but just enough that you know you’re in an establishment that takes what they do seriously. Last but not least, Britt (bartender) was amazingly talented, knowledgeable, passionate and skilled at cocktail making. “A latin style brunch place with delicious food. Chilaquiles are spicy, hearty. The rice and black beans are good, also different compared to most Mexican restaurants. The maduros and orange slice cuts are notable and unique. Also, don't confuse the leafs 'veins' for a hair, as I freaked out pulling one from the eggs. Restaurant decor is modern, food was ready quick, and the server was nice This place also serves pumpkin spice coffee year round.“

“Delicious food! Especially nice on a cold day. I appreciated that there was even a vegetarian item on the menu (a huge potato pancake with mushroom gravy), which was delicious. We also shared some sauerkraut & mushroom and potato & cheese pierogies, which were also great. Also great was the mulled wine. They serve a lovely sourdough bread with an interesting spiced spread, but heads up to vegetarians -- the spread is bacon-based. But again, excellent bread. (As you can see, deliciousness was the theme.) The exterior of the restaurant is a little unassuming but the interior is like a cheerful cabin. Would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Babcia's pancake, which is a potato pancake with mushroom gravy, served with 3 types of cold salad. There are also meatless pierogies: sauerkraut & mushroom and potato & cheese (ask to be served without bacon garnish). There are also some salads on the menu which are vegetarian. I don't believe any of these dishes are vegan, though at least one of the salads could probably be made vegan if the cheese was left off.“

“Our server Anna was perfect. The ahi tuna salad that I ordered had a generous amount of tuna and very wonderful avocado slices, along with lots of other ingredients. The three people with me loved their choices also, especially the Neat burger with an egg on it. “I go here 2-3 times a week to sing, drink and mingle with every customer. Everyone talks to you and the staff is the greatest line up anywhere. They love their customers and they like to have fun, as I have seen them dance to karaoke or just being silly with each other. “ERIS not only makes some of the best ciders but also some incredible food, all within a comfortable industrial-chic space (and tons of outdoor seating to boot). Nowhere else in the world would I be able to find a dry cider aged in Malort barrels (Apfel Ort) and holy cow, I ordered it twice! For a more standard drink they also have lots of ciders and a few beers on tap. The fried pickles, fish and chips, burgers and fries are all top-notch. I can't wait to go back!Vegetarian options: My wife tried the cauliflower wrap which was a deliciously spicy vegetarian option. The fried pickles are also great!“

“We came for Valentines to try the food and beer. The menu is simple and to the point. We both had smash burgers. Let me tell you, the burger was delicious. I went with the double and it was huge. I'll get the single smash burger next time. The cheese curd basket with ranch was really good. The atmosphere is chill, the food is yummy and reasonably priced. “Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. They are serious about their libations and happy to share their knowledge. I really like this place. Good vibe and great drinks. Check it out. Not sure why some clown gave it two stars. “Found out about this brewery in Westmont and came to try a few beers. It's in a pretty hard to find location in some industrial area, the worst thing about it. Whiskey Hill is a funny name, as this place has beer, not whiskey. Oh well, what they have is still good. There's a pretty good selection including some hoppy and sours. A lot of breweries are in kind of strange areas. It's the case with this one. This is located on Vandustrial in a building it share with some offices and whatever. Lots of trucking companies around here. There's semis parked along the street. Anyway, the beers. It's about $6 a pour. It's not quite a pint but whatever. Even so, a pretty good price for a small brewery. Has many to choose from. Best was the 7 Mile Bridge. It's a Belgian Weisse with key lime, toasted coconut, and vanilla. A lot of lime flavor. This is almost like a sour to be honest. A pretty strong one at 7% ABV. There's not a whole lot on tap, but they manage to have quite a bit for a microbrewery to be honest. Get some beers on tap or take some of the cans to go. It's a small place but when it's warmer they have a patio. There's no food but sometimes there's food trucks.“
