“The atmosphere in Loca Mocha in Berwy, Illinois let's gives of a mix of Saturday morning mess hall with a Caribou Coffee aesthetic.Although being located next to the train station, Specifically, the metro piano swearing vibe is extremely peaceful and gives you the feeling of this would be a great place to retire. The view from almost all angles is beautiful. Whether you actually value train rails or the greenery. Going down for literal miles on all sides. Some trees even contain red yellows and shades of brown without being there. For the fruit purpose, make no mistake. They do have some interesting exotic drinks. I recommend the rejuvenator.Rarely do I get to see a mix of guava and passion fruit in the small town suburban city areas. The staff are friendly and quiet, just as the atmosphere and their ae statics usually match. Whatever seasonal holiday is popular. You'll come in a hurry, but you will find peace once you take a seat and a sip of whatever you drink.Quiet atmosphere.Pros: Atmosphere willingness to have exotic drinks on the menu. That aren't based on coffee or espresso. The quiet.Cons: Very basic engineeric seating arrangements tables are excessively small everything echoes, also be quiet.“
“Great service, professional and it is one of the best Dunkin' donuts places that have been to. I know employee that makes me the best iced coffee during happy hours. Happy hours are between 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Any size coffee you want is two bucks with tax. I usually get my iced coffee on Mondays and Fridays. Also make sure you ask for a less ice on your ice coffee because they they tend to cheat on you with more ice than the liquid. It's the same method that they use with Starbucks drinks and other restaurants. Make sure you keep an eye on it and be extra careful. And have a great day! ???????????????????“
“An absolutely beautiful locally owned coffee shop in an area with few options. It's open and bright, and they host community events. The staff are friendly and helpful and the drinks (haven't tried the food yet, but hope to soon!) are very good!“
“This is my second time here at chi tiva. I visit the location downtown first and second time at the Worth, IL location. My experience completely different from the first time around. I visit location downtown informing workers my first time how they offered to let us sample slushy flavors nice jester….they did not inform me of dosage and explain how it may possibly affect first timer. With that being said I ordered 50mg coffee taking a few sips and telling my sister she immediately told me to go back to check out and order a 10mg let them know it was my first time. I can say my experience second time around at the Worth location with Lori she greeted us and explained everything we were interested in getting letting us know dosages and tolerance level. I mentioned at the end I really appreciate her customer service and explaining super knowledgeable. I told myself I would probably not come back but this experience definitely worth coming back when in town. Thank you!“
“This place is a total experience! The food is delicious, the decor is artsy and beautiful, and the owners are absolute gems. my family and I went for the first time yesterday and had the BEST time. we came for some quick pierogi but stayed for the ambiance, warm welcome, and fantastic conversation with the owners. This cafe is charming beyond belief and we will definitely be back. This is the perfect place to stop in with some friends or loved ones when you are out and about in the neighborhood. I guarantee you will want to come back again and again.“
“The coffee is consistently awesome, and the theme they've got going on adds such a cool vibe coffee to the place., If you're up for a good cup of joe in a place with some serious character, this spot's where it's at. They also have Beacon donuts which is so good! Highly recommend!“
“I decided to order and give them a try and it was definitely worth it. Everything we got was full of flavor. Half an order was enough to fill us up. The quesa ropa mixed extremely well and the sauces were fantastic. Will definitely recommend and make this a regular spot.“
“Hopefully the franchise owner can see this. Both times- it has gotten completely packed Mashallah.I’ve always been someone to go to Starbucks ( prior to boycotting ) and other Americanized coffee shops and specifically enjoying the aroma and level of QUIETNESS or should I say INSIDE VOICES while working on some things on my laptop. But that’s just NOT the case at these places- and I’m not the only one sitting with my laptop doing work!!Why does the fellow brothers and sisters gather at coffee shops like it’s a family reunion and get so loud? I thought it was so rude seeing people freely put tables together to fit their party of 10 and stay there for hours while other individuals or couples can’t even pop a squat.I know many will probably tell me to go to the library or stay home if I want quietness and I think after these experiences I might just do that!It would be nice to enforce some kind of mutual respect for others or for coffee shop owners to create a quiet space for those that way to work on their work quietly while enjoying the environment ?I don’t have the desire to be a business owner but someone please take my idea and do it. LolOverall 5 stars for food / drinks and service but atmosphere needs to improve or else just be a restaurant, not a coffee shop.Rant over.“
“My favorite coffee shop around! The owners are super friendly, take the time to get to know you, and they really care about the local community. They also make some of the best dang lattes and drinks (better than Dark Matter, Intelligentsia, etc.). They always have great pastries and snacks on hand as well.“
“My wife and my go to bakery spot in Chicagoland. Everything we’ve gotten here is fantastic, and it is a regular spot we will frequent until we die! Order anything and you will not be disappointed. A short list of everything we love there: cookies, lemon pound cake, olive oil cake, Georgie cake, and their cold brew. The ambiance is also awesome for a date or to just chill with friends. Can’t go wrong here!“
“Nice place but they kind of cheat you out of the cold brew; when ordering it black, they will pour less than half a cup, fill it up with ice, and then top it off with water. I like the vibe of this place but there are too many other places in the area to get coffee that WON’T water it down right in front of you.“
“The cafe is small but super cute and v aesthetic I had a banana crepe to-go and a small latte, super delicious! ? I hope they add more of a variety to their menu soon like something Latino ?? They speak Spanish which is very helpful since my dad only speaks Spanish. Will definitely be back ?✨“
“This is my new favorite spot in La Grange! It is located east of Noodles and Co. on Calendar. It is quite small, but a great place to pick up healthy smoothies and bowls. Most things are dairy free, or vegan. I particularly love their soups! Try them out. The staff is also extremely friendly.“
“Very friendly lady (reminded me of my grandma) in the front to greet you. Cute little local coffee shop. With great prices after COVID especially. Most coffee shops around Chicago area have raised their prices so was nice to spend less. Obviously i support small business' raising their prices to survive. That's life. I ordered a dirty chai and it was great! Great coffee. However was a bit sweet but that was my fault for rushing to the bathroom and not talking to the kind lady about what sweetness I wanted. ALSO the bathroom is very CLEAN. It was like a home bathroom. Please others keep it clean as well :)“
“I adore this little spot! I’ve been coming here since I moved to the area and drag along anyone who will listen lol the food is unreal at decent prices for the quality and quantity! Their coffee is always delicious as well. The service is truly what keeps me coming back though! They are so sweet and always remember me when I stop in for some breakfast. They really make the entire experience for me personally. I am forever a fan of caribella!Vegetarian options: They are always willing to modify“
“Love this place! I always bring my kid's doughnuts and treats on the weekends, and this place is absolutely amazing. Always something different to try. All the flavors are good and fresh. They sell amazing sandwiches and coffee. The crew is also so great. Must try!“

“This is a wonderful locally owned coffee shop with great coffee, homemade syrups, delicious food, and yummy sweets (including vegan and gluten free options). The vibe is very lively and the number of regulars that filter in and out all day are a testament to its standing in the neighborhood. There is ample FREE parking. Overall 5 stars!!“
“Wow, this place is AMAZING? Great service, hopping atmosphere, and every single one of our dishes were delicious. We will be making this establishment a regular breakfast place during our Chicago visits! Food ordered was: Breakfast burrito Croissant Sandwich Buttermilk pancakes with a side of crispy bacon!“
“This place is 5 stars across the board. The food is delicious, the workers are really nice, and it has a chill relaxing atmosphere. I like going here with a coworker, but I would totally come here to just have a coffee and read.Vegetarian options: You can change most items on the menu to cater to what you needDietary restrictions: You can change most items on the menu to cater to what you need“
“Excellent addition to the Irving Park/Albany Park area. I tried the prosciutto & mozzarella sub and it was very good, pictured is the 9 inch which was plenty for one person. Reasonably priced. Nice service. Charming cozy spot to eat in. I will be back!“
“This place carries a huge variety of magazines, including in foreign languages. That said, my favorite area to browse is the wall of books on Chicago; the various neighborhoods, unique bits of history, architecture and on & on. The cafe area excels in its own right with coffee & pastries - even vegan options. Enjoy a great cup of coffee and live music on weekends. Just a wonderful place.“

“I love this coffee shop. They were friendly, they knew me by name, and their coffee and specialty drinks are tasty. I also really enjoyed their Avacado toast. It was absolutely delicious. It is refreshing to go to a locally own coffee shop, that has a wonderful atmosphere, and great prices too. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone in the area.“
“LOVE the Brazilian empanadas here & the pao de queijo! All the empanada flavors are delish & I love the crust but some of my favorites include: beef, chicken, ham & cheese & the breakfast ones. I also get the Brazilian lemonade. Place is clean, bright & cheery & I had great service today. This is a favorite for me & I travel here just to get the empanadas & pao de queijo.“
“This has to be the best hidden gem for coffee. If you like the coffeehouse vibe, you’re going to love this place. Drinks are on point, service is quick, people are friendly. Looking forward to experiencing the live music and other events scheduled here. Personally I love that I can work here instead of from home. Great addition to the area. Just keep my pistachio latte with oak milk available. Haha“
“Super cute, aesthetic cafe! I fell in love with the interior design. They have a variety of food options in their menu along with their caffeinated and decaffeinated drinks with a long list of flavors for their coffee. The staff were very welcoming. The food were all delicious! Love their latte. Pay to park street parking available. I definitely recommend checking this coffee shop out.“
“I’ve been going to Addis for the past 7 years and rarely skip a day… What drew me in was the very best tasting pour over that I’ve ever had and what keeps me coming back is the family feeling: from the friendly crew behind the counter to the local residents who make Addis a must have part of their daily routine, this place is well worth a try. I guarantee that once you try Addis coffee, their amazing waffles, avocado toast, Ethiopian chechebsa, turmeric lattes etc… you will be hooked!“
“One of the best coffee roasters in the western burbs, and definitely my favorite coffee shop to work from. Their signature and seasonal drinks are great, plus this location also serves cocktails. Highly recommend!Parking: Parking is ample, but can be a bit tricky due to the layout of the building.“
“This is a great spot to not only get bubble tea but also Korean hotdogs! Stopped in to try it out, got a couple dogs, and a lemon ginger tea. Cute little place with multiple claw prize games in the back. Nice place to just sit and chat with a friend. Will return to try other items on menu.Parking: Located in small strip mall that has parking for multiple businesses.“
“The food is authentic Italian and is delicious, especially the Rigatoni Con Sugo Di Carne! You can dine in to enjoy pleasant atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. It's in the center of a strip building between other restaurants that look alike so it's kind of hard to notice. In fact, I was told about the place and I live six blocks from it and drive by it almost every day.I have not tried the pizza since the Rigatoni is so good. If you like genuine Italian food, try it. You will return!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs look like they can roll right in. It's all ground level.“
“What an amazing time! The Breakfast Pie (Louisiana Hand Pie) was absolutely delicious, and their Matcha was the perfect accompaniment. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming - I felt right at home! The decor, with its New Orleans vibes and charming masks, creates such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Loved every moment of my visit!“
“This place was amazing the severs were all very nice and had great recommendations.I had a spicy pulled pork sandwich, the crepes and omelette. So tasty and delicious I would recommend the coffee de olla to anyone coming in.Made very sweet with a hint of cinnamon.“
“I've known for a long time that I can get a great cup of coffee in a pleasant and upbeat shop at Perkolator, but today I learned that they're also a woman-owned business on their Instagram page, so I wanted to hop on here and say, thanks for the great coffee and service, Perkolator. And also thank you for highlighting being woman owned. You rock and I'm celebrating your success today and always.“
“The best cheese cake I have ever had. Good place to stop if you need to bring dessert. So many flavors to choose from. I highly recommend Eli's. I can remember when Eli's restaurant was downtown on East Chicago Ave., We would have dinner and cheesecake for dessert. I always have one in the freezer, for unexpected guest. Peter K.“
“Five stars for great coffee (I had a large latte), comfy setup, and nice staff. However, I did not like my yuca waffle. It was sticky and chewy, the consistency of a gummy bear. The place was very full and people seem to be enjoying their food, so I will be back and I will try something else.“
“Best coffee shop in all Oak Park, IL, I do like the place, the atmosphere, the coffee is really really good, you should go, have some pastries or croissants. I recommend The Coffee although they have tea and other beverages. I highly recommend this place. The service is outstanding, smooth“
“Damn Fine Coffee, always fast service! Their lavender latte is an absolute delight and has since become my drink of choice. Their cardamom ginger latte is equally divine! They carry an amazing variety of vegan donuts that rivals any in the city, I've been trying them all. While the Boston cream had me hooked for a while, the blueberry stuffed donut stole the show with its burst of flavor. If you're on the hunt for delectable vegan treats, check this place out. The staff is knowledgeable and also attentive to every detail, ensuring a memorable experience every time. This spot is a must-visit for any coffee and pastry enthusiast!“
“Of all the places I've tried around the city, Taste of Colombia has the best coffee anywhere in Chicago. My favorite part though is the wonderful people who work there! I feel super fortunate to have them just two blocks from my house. Make sure to give them a try!How cool this place is! They have the best coffee and desserts in all of Chicago, but the best thing is the people who work there. Many thanks to Naima, Toni and Alejandra. Always a pleasure to spend some time with you every weekend!“
“Ate at Harvest Pancake House & Grill for a late breakfast/early lunch and loved it! We got the country skillet and a chipotle chicken avocado panini with fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. I was surprised how good and moist the chicken was. Place was clean and fresh. Service was great and the waitress were all very friendly and polite.“
“I stopped here on a whim to see what this new cute shop offered. A couple was eating a delectable looking cake and I asked if it was good. The woman said yes. I ordered one and OMG! It was delicious. It was a pistachio Tres Leche-like cake with divine frosting. I usually don't indulge in decadent treats, but I'm glad I did. In these weird times, you just have to have a nice treat once and awhile. The owner was very, very nice and offered me Turkish coffee. I like my coffee really strong, but I'll need time to acquire a taste for that. They had a myriad of candies, nuts, homemade logs made with nuts and other yummy looking ingredients and other things i wished they had an English explanation for what they were. They also had beautiful serving sets for, I presume, turkish coffee. The owner said he plans to have more seating and create a little coffee shop. I stopped there after a walk in waterfall glenn with my dogs. What a delightful little excursion and fun discovery today!! I needed this bit of happiness.! It was a nice little gem to discoverP.s. I just read the other reviews and I agree with the "magic door" and "being treated like a guest in the gentleman's home" comment. Spot-on comment. Thank you for your hospitality at Sweet and Salty“
“The cookies are delicious. The brownies are out of this world. And the cinnamon rolls (just had my first one there) are truly the best I've ever had in my life. The staff is warm, friendly and welcoming. Five stars all around for Blackout Baking Co.!“
“This place is legit! I’ve been meaning to try this little taco shop since I can walk to it - yesterday I finally did and wow! Surprised me at how great the food was and will definitely be back again. The inside is small but can seat a few folks but it’s the tables outside that make for a great spot to enjoy some tasty food with friends. Make sure to grab a horchata too! So yummy!“
“First and foremost, the coffee at Khepri Cafe is nothing short of exceptional. The baristas here truly understand the art and science behind brewing the perfect cup. The aroma of freshly ground beans permeates the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you prefer a robust espresso, a velvety latte, or a meticulously crafted pour-over, the coffee selection caters to all tastes, showcasing a commitment to quality and precision. For those with gluten-free dietary needs, Khepri Cafe goes above and beyond to offer a delectable selection of pastries. The gluten-free options are not an afterthought here; they are a central focus. The careful attention to detail ensures that flavor is never sacrificed, making it a haven for those with dietary restrictions.“
“Would I visit this place again: YesWas this place clean: YesOutdoor seating: YesWas this place hard to find: NoWhat would I change about this place: NothingWhat was my favorite thing about this place: Real homemade espresso and delicious food. The atmosphere is authentic and I felt at home again.“
“Bravo, what a Perfect Nitche, so nice to see character shine in everything about an establishment, as an Art form, made for community, in such a relaxed, up&coming neighborhood, with such style, class, and considerate perspective of the area's potential. I'm betting this place becomes the Hub of C-Hills relaxation, AM starts, and solid, community networking. These folks nailed it, figured out the formula. Also, I saw the company response to a few negative reviews, and your camera review showed, no such merit in a negative reviews, or bots , but I bring up for not the camera proof rather, the tact and grace employed in the response. Another plus, as everyone from discerning clientele to wandered in, appears more than welcome. Handling reviews like a champ!!!“
“The food was delicious and so fresh! The country fried steak was a little salty but overall delicious! Everything was fairly priced. The server was so friendly and kind. Very attentive as well and they served the food exactly how we asked for it. We will definitely dine in again.“
“This is simply the best donut shop in Chicago. It's a SoCal type place with all the donuts. Thanks Uncle Ted! My personal favorite is the Red Velvet Crumb. The chocolate old fashioned and chocolate devil are also really good. Heck, I haven't had a bad or even average donut from this place.“
“This place is amazing. I went to NO a few times in my youth. The first time I went I got red beans and rice right on the street and decided I probably never needed to eat anything else ever. This place brought that back to me. Through sausage on it. Might be gilding the lily but maybe some lily’s like it.The rigamaroo was so freaking good. The po boys were spicy and deliciousThe gumbo. Lord the gumbo. The flavor, then”juice” the gravy…whatever it’s called.l. So good…but I want it to have shrimp in it though…or maybe crawfish…but I might die of deliciousnessCountry music makes me very sad so I took one star away for ambiance. It is the old school stuff so only one point taken away.“
“The barista was friendly and made our coffee quickly. But it was lukewarm warm. Would recommend double checking before leaving. Also, the dog “Chanel” is not always there, recommend calling and checking if you are coming to specially meet her.“
