“What an absolutely wonderful experience! The people working were helpful, kind and full of suggestions. We got a tiramisu "cookie" which had the texture of a moon pie, not sweet, just perfect in flavor. The brioche with sausage, egg, cheese paired perfectly with a coffee. The shortbread with dark chocolate, sea salt and strawberries was delightful. Lastly, the chocolate chip, sea salt and tahini cookie was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I'm definitely coming back. For those flavors it was worth every penny.“

“This restaurant has a very cozy vibe. Keep in mind it's a smaller restaurant that has a good crowd, so finding a place to sit can be hard during rush hour. The workers are all incredibly kind. I would highly recommend getting their breakfast sandwich, it is so so so amazing. And of course nothing says "breakfast" quite like a slice of chocolate cake from The Bear.“

“Best bakery within 100 miles in any direction. I have lived in IL my whole life (43 years). I have lived in a dozen towns and traveled all over the state. I have yet to find a better bakery anywhere. Its the best for everything, cookies, morning donuts and even wedding cake.“

I initially thought this was too good to be true and that I was going to be disappointed, and I was WRONG. Although they did not have my favorite Pollo giusado, their rotisserie chicken, steak, sweet plantains, tostones and my favorite alcapurria made up for it.“

“We stopped in for a special treat. They had a good selection of donuts. The shop was decorated nicely and the man who was working there was inviting, helpful and nice. We decided on 6 donuts, Boston creams, pistachio, blueberry cheesecake, apple cider and bacon maple. We enjoyed them all! The prices are average for this type of shop and it does have a nice area to sit and eat if you want to do that. Overall, I recommend stopping in for a delicious donut. “I hired Roughedges Confectionery for my daughters’ bridal shower after sampling some of their treats at local events. They were not only beautiful but insanely delicious! Everyone at the event commented on her desserts saying they were not only gorgeous, but the best cupcakes, flourless chocolate bites and cookies they’ve ever eaten. Kai and her team went above and beyond to make the event perfect by being so easy to work with, displayed the desserts so beautifully and actually had a member of her team pick mint sprigs from her garden that I forgot to bring! I can’t say thank you enough for making the event just perfect!Dietary restrictions: Kai also made gluten free options for several guests which were delicious!“

“I've never had a bad experience here at Crumbl Cookies!Since moving to the area a few months ago, this has been our go-to Crumbl Cookies spot. We get it probably once a month - yikes! Every time here, though, has been the opposite of yikes - the staff is friendly, the cookies are fresh, it's never busy, always clean, and there's ample parking outside. At my old Crumbl Cookies location in Schaumburg, it was always a tight squeeze and hustle-and-bustle situation inside the store and in the parking lot because it was so busy. This location is bigger with more parking, but it's never busy which I like. Let's be real, Crumbl Cookies are freaking good. There's 4 rotating flavors every single week and 2 constant flavors (chocolate chip & sugar). I always love the chocolate chip and will get it in replacement of one of the rotating cookies when I get a 4-pack. In my opinion the warm cookies are always better than the chilled, but some of the chilled ones are great, too. They also sometimes include a mystery cookie which yes, is a mystery when you get it. I love that they do that, I think it's a fun concept especially if you really don't know which other cookie to get or want to try something new.There's TONS of flavors in general at Crumbl, I can't even select my favorite one. When they have these flavors, I do really enjoy their cinnamon swirl cookie, s'mores, cinnamon fry bread, dulce de leche, Biscoff lava, chocolate cake, buckeye brownie, and basically any flavor that has cinnamon or caramel in it, or that's super chocolatey and gooey. You already know I'll be coming to this location again!“

“Came in today for the first time. Customer service was great. I ordered a steak sandwich, cafe con leche, and a pastelito. Everything tasted really good. I ordered to go and was in and out. The place is a little small so maybe for a sit down place it might be a little cramped but that's not a deal breaker for me. Definitely a must try if you are in the neighborhood!“

It all started a few months ago of seeing this business online ...I could not manage to get the time right I was too late or to early or it was closed....But finally the stars ALIGNED and on Saturday I pulled up at 10:30am waiting for the 11am opening...to buy six amazing, delicious and delightful moo-moo cheesecakes (2 keylimes 3 pecan delight and 1 strawberry)...a bowl of chili and a candle ..!I met one of the owners who went above and beyond in customer service, she was kind, patient and efficient she didn't let me wait for the chili ,which I appreciated.The strawberry was the tester cheesecake which both my mother and daughter had a sample of we all loved and enjoyed this cheesecake especially my self which I put the remaining into the freezer to get cold quick ( best decision) to eat in the dark sitting at the kitchen table savoring the freshness the sweet tartness of the strawberries the sweet smoothness of the cheesecake the buttery graham crust slightly sweet whipped cream omg...I will be coming back for more soon..another reason why to support this amazing business is they help alot and give back to the community, they offer their shop for events."There the Cheesecake People".“

“I live in the UK and wanted to surprise a friend who lives in Chicago with a birthday cake. These guys were willing to go the extra mile, literally, and deliver for me as it was a little tricky for me to collect. My friend was very happy with the cake.“

“This is based off real time. My patient recommended me this bakery and wanted to get my partner some tiramisu. Mind you, it's cash ONLY. The tiramisu is $2.75 so take note. The service was quick but I only had $10 with me. I asked for 5 but then asked for 4 then 3 because of the cash I had. The server was talking to another customer in Italian and was already distracted. Once I saw the price, I told her only 3. She gave me this weird and impatient look and was very rude. Hence why I took 1 star off. It's prolly good food, just very hostile environment if you're not Italian. Update: taste wise the tiramisu is a little on the drier side and has a small layer of chocolate in the bottom. I would prefer going to pasta fresh in Chicago since that tiramisu is a little more moist and fresh.“

We tried the chocolate chip cookie and it had big chunks of chocolate and a very good flavor. It was a big cookie that could be shared by two people. Real nice chewy crust, and super soft and fluffy inside, just like Grandma used to buy! “Didn't know this place existed. Always passed by but was going for some café con leche and a friend suggested we go here because they'd been there and thought it was good. They were not lying! So good that I ordered a 2nd cup! Ordered some appetizers and not the best ,but not the worst either. Columbian food in general is good and this place offers all sorts of items to choose from. We tried at least one of each of the main staple Columbian delicacies- pan de bono, pan de bono with guava , pan de bono con queso( our favs)YUM! And well, it's very very good, the baristas make good café con leche! . The best part, not only does their coffee and food menu offer a good variety, they are open until 9pm daily.. I stop in for coffee here at least 3/4 x's a week. That's how good the coffee and treats are. If you decide to sit and enjoy, the salsa music playing over the speakers will keep you dancing in your seat.. their staff are all attentive and very friendly ,making the whole experience nice. Tip, if you order any of the pan de bonos or empanadas, ask that they warm them up for ( they are alot better warmer. This place is a winner !“
