“Excellent lunch spot for a quick bite and serving all the fast food classics. The turkey submarine was freshly made and tidy! Delicious sandwich just like I remember from "back in the day". Crispy fries and the cup of cheese was not bad but not your traditional "nacho cheese" that you use to make cheese fries. I did order ahead for future pickup using the chownow app and my order was being placed in the to go bag when I arrived so excellent service as well. I did request extra crispy fries and they accommodated that as well. Can't ask for a better lunch! Thanks guys!!!“

I’ve been to one other place that was quiet underwhelming so I needed to get it right this time ? I added some extra hot sauce to make it very spicy and I was good to go. “Almost everything is home made. Everything I’ve eaten here is fantastic. If it was located closer to me I’d probably eat here once or more a week. No alcohol. I recommend any dumpling. Big bowl wonton soup is 10/5. Huge huge bang for your buck. “I never write reviews but this one was warranted. The service here was excellent and the turnaround was fast but the Carnitas were outstanding!!! My husband had a gordita de asada and it was exceptional. We'll be coming back for the Pozole on Saturday!! Highly recommended this place.“

“It's refreshing to see a joint that has been around where the service far exceeded the so called 'modern' joints and brought back my love for eating out again. Grant here took such good care of us here. He was attentive, funny, caring and made sure he checked in on us several times. Without going overboard, he made us feel so comfortable; we are definitely asking for him when we go here again (BTW, it's been a once a month Monday dinner for us) The food; as usual, the breadsticks and salad, I don't have anything to say about as they are well known for this. The only thing the kitchen could do better is making the pasta al dente when requested. They seem to not be able to get this right at all.“

“I grew up in Chicago but my grandparents & mom are from Poland. This is the ONLY deli that my grandfather would buy sausages, ham, head cheese etc. from. He took me with him from the time I was a little girl. I now live in Las Vegas and the Polish Deli here buys all their sausages & deli meats from Andy's Deli in Chicago because it's THE BEST! I just put in another order & I can't wait to get it... the delicious smells take me back to my childhood & happy memories of my grandfather & me shopping for delicious sausages, ham, Polish Rye bread & poppy seed cake! I'm just thrilled that Andy's has an online deli to order all these goodies from!!! If you want THE BEST EASTER HAM, order it from Andy's.... Polish ham is lean & delicious & in my opinion, the best tasting ham out there! Check out their impressive website as you don't have to be Polish or speak it to order online... everything is clearly described along with color photos of the product. I wish shipping costs were cheaper but the taste of the sausages etc. is worth it!!! Their prices are actually very reasonable compared to delis I've shopped in town & none of them are as good as Andy's for authentic Polish sausages, hams, bread or bakery goods!“

“The ratings of the MDW's restaurants are laughably low. I had time to kill and this seemed to be the safest choice. The portion was huge and I couldn't finish it. That's not value you expect from an airport restaurant. The food is usually such a rip off, but compared to the grab and go or fast food options, it was a bargain. I was able to get a vegetable omelette. So, it was probably also healthier than the other options. Sidenote: baseball and Chicago memorabilia.“

“We buy crispy smelt to go here and those are the best! So cruspy even the nect day. Second time we dined in last night. All the food we ordered are authentic chinese and so delicious. We ordered hongkong steak, kung pao chicken- perfectly cooked and the sauce and spiciness is not overpowering.; yeong chow fried rice is yummy too, salt and pepper chicken is not what we expected. We were expecting a chicken but this is chicken strips covered in batter but it turned out really good too. Service is fast and tge owner is akways nice. The place is a typical chinese restaurant with round rables and booth. They just need to remove the table where they put the bakery products, it's just in the way when you walk to the tables.“

I order take out and usually off the catering meñu since I have a huge family. Their crab Rangoons are good and Mongolian spicy chicken too it comes with a side of free white rice. I usually order my food extra spicy but if you don't want spicy they can give you some hot oil that is also very great. Cannot complain about this spot at all... It never never has disappointed me. “Always a must stop on my way to or from the Brookfield Zoo. I don't live in the area any more, but when I visit I always try to hit up Mr. Submarine. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing. And the grumpy guy behind the counter, he's been there for 30 years. Different faces over the years, but it's the same guy. Just part of the experience. Never change Mr. Submarine.“

“I am just rating the gyro n butter garlic fries So I would say I wasn't a fan of everything else but I am huge fan of the gyro and garlic fries . The gyro meat is fresh and crispy . The sauce is bomb. So if I had to rate the gyro and butter garlic fries alone it would be a five star but all the other stuff ehhhhhh that's up to y'all to decide lol. I have got the gyro about 10 times already so I would say every time it was a hit .“
