“This food is so good and affordable that you may buy more than one plate, I know because I do mostly every visit. No other African Restaurant has come close to the way Southside African Restaurant is cooking! Can’t wait till they open. Always hot and Fresh and clean tasting for sure!“
“Food was sooo good. I got a little bit of everything. Goat, fish, beef, jollof rice. Definitely spicy and amazing. I didn't know the names of the dishes but the gentleman sharing the food was patient and explained everything. It’s a must try if you want to try delicious African food.“
“The service staff members are very kind, the service is great, and the food is awesome but a bit pricey. The place is not much of a dine-in place... it's definitely more of a place for take-out or delivery! Must try the Beans & Plantains Dinner, Egusi, or Jollef Rice! Street parking is not that bad most of the time.“
“Actually waiting on my food right now with excitement, my first time visiting the store/ restaurant (not currently able to sit you have to order to go) yesterday. Today again I'm ordering the same Jollof Rice which is usually consist of these main ingredients: Rice, tomatoes and tomato paste, onions, cooking oil, also included either fish, lamb, goat meat, chicken, or beef.However, everyone has their own preference when cooking this dish. I really really enjoyed my food and today I returned. I must thank them for yesterday because they were closing yet still served me and ❣️❣️❣️???????the food was so good I forgot to share. ?? Forgive me, for I did not sin lol that was mines.Anyway, I love the beef pie it was hot and delicious with what seem like a hint of cinnamon OMG DELICIOUS!Thanks for such good food.Now to those whom may be confused it is a small store and carry varies items, and the restaurant is attached so just order or call ahead because you can't eat in the restaurant although the food is so delicious you got to go home or somewhere and just eat?❤️them.From me Kay to you, this is worth every dollar.“
“I am not going to lie, the food was amazing!!! I got the biggest turkey wing ever, I think it was ostrich lol jk. I ordered that with jollof rice, it was very spicy but very delicious. Plantain we got wasn't soggy, it was cooked to perfection. My husband got the Egusi and Ebay which was very good too. He didn't enjoy the meat part of it but it was good nonetheless. I wasn't disappointed at all!! I am definitely returning to the store. The lady at the store was really nice too. One disadvantage is that the restaurant doesn't have a lot of sitting space, just 2 tables.Also from outside it looks like they are closed but they're actually openParking: Not much parking but the complex's parking lot doesn't seem like it get full so there is parking space.“
