Tried this place for the first time using Uber Eats once the African Restaurant near River Oaks failed terribly. This is my new spot for egusi. It was so good. Spicy just how I like it. Fufu wasn't mushy and this place was much more affordable. The portions were average.
I really enjoy the food when I'm in the area and craving for some good African food. I also want to give a special appreciation to Ola .. He's very nice and pleasant when he's helping with your order. Also patient and never let you see him panic with all the orders that come thru the Food App or wheather walking in to place your order. You are a keeper and worth every penny when it comes to customer service... ?

This food is so good and affordable that you may buy more than one plate, I know because I do mostly every visit. No other African Restaurant has come close to the way Southside African Restaurant is cooking! Can’t wait till they open. Always hot and Fresh and clean tasting for sure!
