“Food is tasty, service is phenomenal and the owners Marilou & Ernie are Welcoming and Great! They seem to care about their customers and building those long lasting relationships with the Filipino community, Sometimes I feel like I am actually a part of their family like a nephew or something! ? I must say, Enjoying my meal while OPM is playing, makes me feel like I’m in the phillipines! Sir Lakay the head chef and kuya Chan really know how to throw down in the kitchen! Some of My favorite dishes are the Crispy Binagoongan, Pancit Sotanghon(on the dry side with extra lemons! I like my pancit Maasim) Pinakbet, Chicken Inasal with Java and the Crispy Pata Kare-Kare with bagoong on the side for that savory, satisfying, crunchy, salty bite! Ate Gina who works in the bar is super awesome too! She is always fun to talk to with a good sense of humor and positive outlook on life she makes the best and prettiest looking desserts! Sometimes when I dine I get to see Jovi I think he also goes by Jmic and Carl those guys are cool! ? what I love the most about Hong Ning is how they are very family oriented, you feel at home when you come to dine with your friends and families. I’ve tried other Filipino restos in Chicago, and trust me I will always without a doubt love Hong Ning the most, It’s also super cool how many famous Filipino artistas have dined in there so far including myself! Charot, by the way you have to try their Chomporado made by Mae! The rice has a unique texture to it and the chocolate is decadent! Yeah yeah sure sure!“

“I've met my son there for lunch multiple times and we've always thoroughly enjoyed our choices. You can get almost any combination of ingredients on a grilled cheese sandwich that you could want, the soups are delicious, and the mack and cheese is awfully tasty. Highly recommend this “

“Most in our group had a wonderful meal...chicken sandwiches, and tuna poke bowl. Also flatbread appetizer and brownie dessert were wonderful. However my quinoa burger was not very good. First of all it fell apart when, after cutting in half, I tried to pick it up. And just not much flavor. Was disappointed in that. Other issue was that most everyone had a taste for pasta, and mac and cheese was the only pasta option.“

“Home Run, got the 8 finger cavetelli with a couple meatballs on the side. Both were amazing, pasta cooked fresh tasted great, meat sauce was very meaty. The place was spotless, by far the cleanest restaurant I've gotten food from in a long time. You can tell the owner cares. “I have never had a bad meal from Gnarly. I have been going here for a few months now and I'm just obsessed. Do yourself a favor and check out the specials. Their barista is a freaking genius when it comes to their specialty drinks. I would eat here everyday if I could. If you love soft pretzels gnarly is the place to be.“

The breakfast menu is terrific, and every dish I've tried has been great. I especially love their waffles & pancakes (I actually get cravings for them). “The food was great. The gravy (marinara) over the meatball appetizer was better than mine. The arugula salad was lightly dressed letting the greens be the focus. Since it was entree sized the waiter suggested we split it. We also went with his suggestion and got the table side made Cacio E Pepe Bucatini. It was $10 more for table side prep, but they made it in a "bowled out" wheel of parmesan cheese which was entertaining, and delicious. I will definitely go back.“

“I order some large soup today e got a different order from a different restaurant. So I order from Cafe Zupas e got something from Sweet Tomatoes. So I try to call Uber to let them know that I had the wrong order and couldn’t talk to anyone. So I called Cafe Zupas and I explained to them what happened and the guy came to deliver my order himself in 10 minutes e I was very impressed with his customer service.????“

“Nice place. Modern vibe with traditional Polish food. Our table had pierogi as a starter and they were tasty and the dough was good. My wife has been making them for over seven decades, so I have a feel for them. I had the Highlander cutlet, very tasty, crips, but tender. Pork hock buttery soft, beef goulash with potato pancakes great.“

“The food and ambiance was amazing. To start the complimentary chips and salsa was very good. Although some chips were a little too salty. I had the Taco platter (carne asada and 2 chicken tinga), double rice (no beans). The carne asada was a tad dry, while the chicken tinga was delicious! The rice was good, but a tad bland and required a healthy dose of salsa. Service was good, but slow at times. Overall, very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.“

“Simply amazing. The strawberry harvest salad is the most refreshing thing I ever tasted with the soft fresh piece of bread and creamy soft butter. The strawberry champagne vinaigrette is amazing. I don't eat salads. Maybe as a side w steak and potato but this is a whole delicious meal of its own. I can eat it alone. The lobster bisque with roasted red peppers is outstanding! The brisket sandwich was 10x better then I could of imagined with all the flavor profiles sweet salty meaty tangy. We got a pesto chicken salad just because it looked unique and it was the best thing we ever tried. Through the whole meal we just kept saying how good every part of it was it was like the best dinner I had in a while. It also felt very healthy and this is my new favorite place to eat around my house two sandwiches, a salad soup you get two slices of bread and two chocolate strawberries and I only paid 25 bucks. It was super filling and light and healthy feeling at the same time only 12 minutes to prepare Simply amazing six out of five star! I would post pictures of the food, but it was devoured so quickly“

“ADORE this place! I have so many fond memories here as I practically grew up coming here! I came here on dates before me and my husband got married, had my bachelorette dinner here, go here with my childhood besties and so much more! So thankful for the kind staff! Our waitress for my bachlorette was so funny and sweet! She brought me a super cute mocktail she made herself and explained she recently got married! She definitely made the night more fun! Can't wait to come here again!Vegetarian options: They have a few soup and salad options for my vegan sister! Not a ton, but enough to make her love coming back! They have a few pasta dishes that are vegetarian and the staff is kind enough to remove meats from dishes if possible! Just speak up and let them know! They're always willing to help!“

“We buy crispy smelt to go here and those are the best! So cruspy even the nect day. Second time we dined in last night. All the food we ordered are authentic chinese and so delicious. We ordered hongkong steak, kung pao chicken- perfectly cooked and the sauce and spiciness is not overpowering.; yeong chow fried rice is yummy too, salt and pepper chicken is not what we expected. We were expecting a chicken but this is chicken strips covered in batter but it turned out really good too. Service is fast and tge owner is akways nice. The place is a typical chinese restaurant with round rables and booth. They just need to remove the table where they put the bakery products, it's just in the way when you walk to the tables.“

“Since New Wok hasn't reopened and prices at House of Emperor have slowly been raised thru the roof, we tried here and got 4 dishes we have ordered at many Chinese take out places or even in Chinatown. Here we go: Chicken Chop Suey-excellent! Sauce is tasty, plenty of bean sprouts and pea pods, good amount of tender chicken, trimmed nicely of any fat. Beef Fried Rice-very good. Although it had yellow onion instead of the more normal green onion, and scrambled egg was kinda sparse. Still very good. Beef With Broccoli-would have also been excellent except it had sweetness, I have always hated sugar added to my Americanized Chinese food. BBQ Pork Egg Foo Yung-same comment as the beef with broccoli. The gravy for the egg foo was VERY sweet. Too sweet for me! The only option is large which is 3 paddys not the usual 4. I think without the sugar it would have been very good. Purely take out here, it was obvious they used to have a sit down business at some point but not now. “I like olive garden the food taste good we orderd: calamari (the portion is small) , chicken Parmigiana it's 2 pieces , chicken & shrimp carbonara without the bacon it was the most delicious, shrimp Alfredo . It does come with soup or salad & bread, there salad is always a super 5 star . For the soup it does not taste as usual not thick enough didnt like it . I think they should add pizza to their menu .“

“I walked in during lunch and got the kung pao chicken combo with chicken fried rice. It was ready in just 10 minutes. The portions were very big and the food was very tasty. I eat a lot of chinese food and this was one of the best. I'll be coming back“

“If I could I would give 10 star instead of 5, thats how much I like this place. My daughters and I go here a few times a week. I absolutely love the food and the atmosphere/environment, it has a very cozy feel to it. The Staff here is so so so amazing that sometimes it feels too good to be true especially nowadays when people have become so rude and obnoxious especially since covid. I want to mention names of the people who are not only kind but polite and provide excellent customer service. Emily is one of the managers but what a great person, she definitely deserves her title, Nerlyn (not sure if I am spelling her name right) is also very very awesome. Couple other absolutely amazing people from the staff are Tina (one of the managers) and Adan.Love love love the place, service and atmosphere. Thank You guys for being so awesome always!!!“

“I love coming to this Panera. The food tastes great and has that family freshly prepared meal feel. The staff is always friendly. I love the smiles on their face every time I come there you eat.
