“Last time I had sushi was well over 15 years ago. Times change, appetite, and eating habits change so here I am. My wife enjoys sushi and has been here a few times and enjoys their rolls. I do enjoy food in the teriyaki family and I get this fix at a few other restaurants in town. The interior of the restaurant is inviting and it was strange being back in the former Peapod restaurant location. We ordered the crab ragoon, gyoza, chicken teriyaki roll, scorpion roll, Godzilla roll, and the beef teriyaki entree. Both appetizers were good but pretty standard. I tried a few rolls and it's still not for me. I believe the seaweed wrap is what I don't like. The filling is good though. My wife enjoyed every bite of it. The beef teriyaki comes with salad, rice, and miso soup. I don't particularly like miso soup but this one was slightly different in a good way. I enjoyed the simple salad as well. Now when I ordered the beef I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked which is not unusual. When I received the beef it was too blue in my opinion. I'll eat beef anyway outside of raw but typically I like my beef medium. The sauce and vegetables were good and I still ate the beef. For drinks I stuck with water but my wife had a mango smoothie that was quite tasty. The employees were attentive and definitely hustling so I appreciate that. I would go back and get the chicken teriyaki (hopefully it's not pink) and let my wife enjoy the sushi rolls. 4 stars because everyone I know that has come here for the sushi raves about it.“

We did appetizers of course. The Baked Feta was a huge hit as well as the Saganaki of course. We ordered Greek Salad for each table and our guests ordered off the menu. I’m sure it was a challenge for the kitchen but they handled it very well and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had one server, who’s name I did not get, (may fault). She was awesome! Comes back with the to go food and checks, there were three of us and she brought three separate checks, great! Also by the way, anytime we go out to eat, we are VERY generous tippers, but do tip accordingly.I go to the washroom and come back and she was at the table talking to my sister and when I walked up, I heard her saying, she left me 10% and you left me 18% and she left me 15% and I just wanna know why? Was there something wrong with my service? She was legit upset! I said to her wait, you're actually questioning your tip? She kept saying that she wanted to know if there was something wrong with the service, but she knows what she was doing. I honestly never in my life have ever had anyone do something like this, I was shocked! Not to mention there were other people sitting around and she was pointing at each of us telling us what we gave her for a tip! It was the most absurd thing! The Italian beef was okay, I got the gravy on the side so it didn't get soggy, but I feel like it would've been better on it so that could be on me. I wish it had a little bit more flavor but it was fine. Their garlic knots were interesting, not your typical garlic knot. They were tossed in garlic sauce and cheese, and they weren't bad either. I don't eat salads. Maybe as a side w steak and potato but this is a whole delicious meal of its own. I can eat it alone. The lobster bisque with roasted red peppers is outstanding! The brisket sandwich was 10x better then I could of imagined with all the flavor profiles sweet salty meaty tangy. We got a pesto chicken salad just because it looked unique and it was the best thing we ever tried. Through the whole meal we just kept saying how good every part of it was it was like the best dinner I had in a while. It also felt very healthy and this is my new favorite place to eat around my house two sandwiches, a salad soup you get two slices of bread and two chocolate strawberries and I only paid 25 bucks. The portion size filled a full take home container. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the pork was. Wished that there was more of it on the nachos. Also wished I had thought to tell them to not include the olives. We ordered a kids sandwich for our toddler. Adam ate half his sandwich bb and pronounced it "Very good." “Long time customer with Corner Bakery they have good quality comfort foods and drinks. 5 stars because the service surpassed all of my expectations today. I ordered 2 coffees a breakfast sandwich and bagel via Uber Eats of which the driver didn't deliver one of the coffees. I attempted to contact the driver and Uber and outside of a refund there wasn't anything they could do. I called Corner Bakery to see if the driver may have forgotten that part of my order. Their floor manager went above and beyond! They confirmed the full order was picked up and also personally delivered my drink (new)! I wasn't expecting that at all! They didn't have to do that at all especially since I'm a good distance from them and especially since they are not at fault with the Uber eats delivery. All I can say is thank you so much!
