“It’s delicious. I’ve been here three times. Sometimes people come here when they don’t know what to eat. The environment is very good, and the quality of the dishes is also quite good. Personally, I feel that the order is Caofu-Jiuxiang-Shanghai cuisine (Kung Fu Lao Shen) (the boss lady of Shanghai cuisine is too annoying), but it feels like it! ! The portion of short crispy pork was too small. It was ridiculously small. I was dumbfounded when it was served that day. However, I highly recommend the kung fu fish fillet! !“

“I had an amazing dining experience at this Chinese grill fish restaurant. Their signature dish, the grilled fish, was an absolute delight. The perfect combination of traditional Chinese spices and seasonings made each bite a flavorful journey. The fish itself was tender and flaky, practically melting in my mouth. It's definitely a taste of home, and I highly recommend this spot for a comforting meal shared with loved ones or a solo indulgence in delicious Chinese cuisine.“

“A native of the Northeast made a sharp comment: His family photos are not so authentic. It's a bit like Beijingers cooking Northeast cuisine.Food deduction items: Some dishes have wrong ingredients and poor skills (for example, the meat is wrapped in a pot, the batter on the outside is not fried well, it is too soft, and the heat may not be enough when frying the sauce, and the heat is not good) and (Dala The skin is not right, I don’t know where the material is used to pull the skin)The environment is well received! : For Champagne, the environment of his house is quite good, and it looks cleaner and tidy than many other Chinese restaurants.Service praise: The waiters are well trained, have a good attitude, and add water frequently, praise.“

“I have been to this restaurant twice. First, I got the tomato egg dry noodle, which was very sweet but had a nice savory complement. The second time I went I had the spicy beef soup. It was so spicy I couldn't eat much of it, but I have low spice tolerance. I personally don't like their noodles, I think they're a little soggy and I prefer chewier noodles, but overall good restaurant and nice atmosphere for a quick meal with friends.“

“After years of eyeing this place with interest as I drove past on the way to work, I had lunch here today. I ordered a red curry (chicken) and asked for "spicy". It was spicy enough to break a sweat and experience mild gustatory rhinitis. Thus, eminently satisfying. The place is unpretentious but the food was tasty and the value for price is very high. For what it aims at, 5 stars for sure.“

Auntie Lee's Chinese Kitchen Chinese • $
49b E Green St, Champaign

“Worth the read, but short answer 10/10 absolutely recommend! Fantastic Food, Large Portions, excellent price! Today, the employees at Signarama had a lunch celebration and had the opportunity to try Auntie Lee's for the first time. The menu consisted of various dishes such as Pork Xiao Long Bao, Tianjin Pork Meat Bun, Crab Rangoon, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, General Tso's Chicken, Pork Egg Rolls, and the House Special Lo Mein. Since Auntie Lee's is not open for lunch, the owner, Kit, kindly delivered our special meal to us. She was extremely friendly and had a positive demeanor. The aroma of the food was so enticing that we couldn't resist starting to fix our plates even before she had left. The taste of the food exceeded our expectations. Each dish was packed with flavor and was truly enjoyable. The Tianjin Pork, a large stuffed dough with pork, was perfectly cooked and flavorful. We also had a veggie version, but it was quickly devoured by others before I could try it. The General Tso's Chicken had a delightful blend of spice and flavor. Although I tend to avoid spicy food, I managed to have a small taste. It was good, but a bit too spicy for my personal preference. However, my coworkers raved about it and unanimously agreed that it was the most flavorful General Tso's Chicken they had ever had, giving it a perfect rating of 10/10. The House Special Lo Mein was a major hit among the employees. It was tender and packed with shrimp, chicken, and beef, making it a satisfying dish. Normally, I avoid sweet and sour chicken due to the imbalance of meat and breading. However, Auntie Lee's version was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet or sour, and the chicken was of excellent quality. The pork egg rolls were substantial in size and filled with a generous amount of vegetables and pork. They were truly enjoyable. Now, onto my personal favorite, the Crab Rangoon. I am usually very particular about Crab Rangoon, but I must say, Auntie Lee's has the best one in Champaign. Instead of the traditional roll shape, Kit folds it to resemble a crab, resulting in a more generously packed filling. I was in heaven while devouring it. If you haven't tried Auntie Lee's, we highly recommend that you make a visit. They are open until 1am and offer various options such as online ordering, dine-in, takeout, and delivery. You won't regret indulging in a meal from Auntie Lee's. Once again, we extend our gratitude to Kit for making Signarama's day truly amazing with her delicious food. Additionally, it is worth noting that the portions are quite generous, and the pictures I am sharing were taken after several people had already served themselves. Absolutely delicious!“

“Staying and dining in Urbana/Champaign for over 20 years, La La Noodle has been the first choice of my husband and myself. Although this restaurant sounds like only serving noodles by name, it has actually a large variety (or almost the full spectrum) of professionally cooked Chinese dishes. The food is super delicious, and the price is very reasonable. The photos showing here are two of our favorite dishes: Fried Beef with Green Onions (葱爆牛肉) and Hot Spicy Whole Fish (香辣全鱼). As with many other dishes in this restaurant, they are nicely cooked and very tasty. I highly recommend La La Noodle for Chinese food. I think it is one of the best Chinese restaurants in this area, with lower price than most others.“

“We came during a busy Sunday, a line started to form out the door and they had a bunch of online orders. According to one of the employees talking with another customer the manager is out on vacation, and most employees don’t work weekends. They were holding it down during an extremely stressful situation, and while I commend and very much appreciate that. I hope management looks into hiring people that can work weekends to make their staff a LOT less stressed out.“

“As a vegan, there are limited options. But the options they do offer are excellent in quality and freshness. I highly recommend the veg lo mein. I always request that they add tofu. Delish! I also love their crispy tofu - you will find it in the appetizer section. Make it a large and order a side of rice and you have an entree. They have plenty of veggie dishes, all of high quality. What I would love to see is for them to offer a vegan eggplant dish, orange tofu, and also maybe, if they really want to stand out from other area Chinese restaurants, introduce seitan "meat" where they can use that to substitute for the real meat in their meat based entrees, just as long as the sauces are vegan. Lastly, their prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are generous.“

My favorite wontons are mapo, green pepper, and hot chili oil wontons. My second favorite item is the sliced spicy pork belly dish! When you arrive, you scan the menu from your phone and order at your table. The food comes out relatively quickly. The max number of people I've come with is 6, so if you have a party of more than 6 you might have to split up into smaller tables.“
