“i loveeee this coffee shop! i usually get the brown sugar shaken espresso or strawberry matcha and it's amazing every time. the staff are really sweet and accommodating. it's a cool spin on coffee with the robot aspect!! prob my fav coffee spot on campusDietary restrictions: they offer oat milk sub for anyone with lactose intolerant“
“We order bulks for our office and it is by far the best, fresh coffee I had in years. And if you do fresh bean grind to espresso or whatever coffee machine you have, you know you'll need a good roasters. THIS is the place.FYI, for those who are concerned of higher price than before (i.e. smaller packages with same price etc... ) its because the global bean price has risen significantly after COVID.“
“Sadly didn’t take any pictures while here but I came here to study since I had a gift card and I love the amount of seats they have inside, as well as electrical outlets to charge all of your devices when studying! It can get a little noisy inside so if you really need some quiet, I may consider going else where. But overall I did like it and would come back again!“
“Every time I eat at Le Peep it is excellent. For breakfast/brunch I always order the sailor Sam, but have my eggs poached hard(perfect every time). For lunch I order the penne pasta with chicken and veggies. It is always delicious. Staff is always friendly and attentive.“
“I absolutely adore this donut shop! The variety of unique flavors is simply outstanding, and every single donut looks utterly irresistible. Personally, I'm a huge fan of their Yeast Doughnuts; they strike the perfect balance, not too dense like the cake ones. Plus, having coffee and Matcha available is always a delightful bonus. The Girl Scouts Samoas special was a definite highlight for me, but I couldn't resist trying the Orange Pistachio as well, and it was pure bliss. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty treat!“
“It's a very loveable place, the food is good and affordable, staff is fine, the vibe is very cosy and relaxing, and it has lots of spots and outlets to work or study. But quite cold even in Aug especially the bathroom and I wish there were some cost notations on the tea menu and baked goods. Overall it's my favourite place in town so far.“
“Established college coffee center, lots of room, large menu, plenty of friendly staff and nice sizes for lattes, we all sampled lattes and enjoyed some boardgames too. My latte was decent, nothing special, definitely better brews in the area but few with a large seating area and plenty to dabble on the menu.“
“I went to 7 brew for the first time and had no idea what to order and Hannah recommended the sweet and salty and it’s my new favorite, i will definitely be back because it is now my hyper fixation. beyond that the customer service is great the atmosphere is great and the wide variety of options is amazing!“
“Favorite coffee place in Champaign! The coffee is very rich, and they have their specialty coffee as well. Seating area is also nice, there are few thats comfortable enough for studying/working. But I specifically love sitting at the bar with the high chair!“
“I just moved to town awhile back, and i was thrilled to see a legitimate Tea Shop in town. I've only been once so far, but it will absolutely be a regular thing. The mini Pu'er cakes have a great taste and are very high qualityThe Silver Needle White is probably my favorite so far that I've tried. Very little breakage, and it was absolutely all bud tips with hairs intact, no leaves at all. Sweet, fruity, not astringent at all.I tried a few other blends as well, all were solid teas. Their "Chinese Restaurant" blend has been my go to drink with meals lately. Then the girl working there was super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. She's an awesome employee.I'll absolutely be back. Stoked to have a legitimate tea store close again!“
“Love this place! Staff is super friendly and informed, they quickly make your beverage or food to your specification. Had chai tea latte. Super clean ingredience. Will make a point to stop here whenever my husband and I are in town. Thank you!“
“Super busy place and the wait for food was a bit long so don’t go when you are starving.Salmon ? lox needed a bit dill cream cheese or some element to lift it.Beef au jus was super dry with really hard bread.Red pepper tomato soup was excellentSalad ? was freshDonuts …. tasty for the sugar bees in the group , I passed on the fluffy over sweet nothingness ?“
“To all of you complaining about the drive-thru wait times, I have an idea: get out of your car and order INSIDE! Oftentimes, you can find 2-3 employees taking orders at the same time. You can see how many cars are in the drive-thru and figure that it's going to take a while to take each car's order, payment, make your drink &/or food, package your food, hand you your food, and then wait for the car to pull out! For those of you stewing at the drive-thru wait times, you may wish to think about just how unreasonable your expectations and demands are and make some changes to your thinking patterns & life! You CAN become a more patient and better person. I agree with the man who posted that this is the busiest Starbucks - both inside & the drive-thru! I also agree with him that it is the best-managed Starbucks (that I have ever been to) and that their employees are second to none in the industry! They work extremely hard & put in long hours, put up with rude people, have to make ridiculously complicated drinks for some people, and then if they have to close the store at night, have to thoroughly clean everything and vacuum & mop the floors before leaving! How many of you seemingly over-indulged & privileged people could do ALL THAT for the (most likely) $13-14/hour they earn??? I'm 65 years old and have been going to this Starbucks since they opened. I have been to Starbucks all over the U.S. and can state, without a doubt, that THIS Starbucks makes their drinks EXACTLY as Corporate requires! That is not true of every Starbucks I've ever visited. In closing, if you don't want to wait your turn, may I suggest you go to the Starbucks in Campustown.“
“If you want breakfast in Champaign, you better come to Cracked! The food here is so good and the concoctions of savory goodness are creative and ideal. I had the Sloppy Jose, which is a chorizo sandwich with guacamole, hash brown, and a fried egg. I loved this sandwich, especially with the sauce provided at the tables. I also tried the French toast bites. I asked for extra cinnamon sugar and mixed it in with lots of syrup. After that added load of sugar, the bites were good, but I probably do not recommend. Coffee is good. The atmosphere is nice and has U of I stuff everywhere. Service was good but the sandwiches took forever to be made. Luckily, the tasted very good to make up for it. I will definitely be coming back to Cracked to try more items off the menu!“
“Kung Fu Tea knows what they're doing! I love the poke bowl so much! It's one of the cheapest in CU area but the taste is above and beyond. But more than that I am OBSESSED with the miso soup! It's perfection. I also love their boba, the variety is large and they make them just right. Totally hits the spot. 10/10 recommend to anyone!“
“I can't stop myself from dropping in at Avionics for espresso when in town to hang out at Pour Bros. Craft Taproom Champaign. Always have to pick up a bag of beans from Page Roasting Company. IMO, best coffee on earth! Yes, I live near Seattle and have been to Italy, but Guatemala from Page Roasting is my favorite.“
“There isn't a better more readily available local place with drive through, so Starbucks is a good alternative. That said, I get a Venti Blended Macha Frappuccino (no whip) with Strawberry Puree, and it's by far my new favorite drink. The service at this location is great, they're always cheerful, even when it's been a rough shift, and I'll only come to this location when I'm in town.“
“They do not have any gluten-free food options other than a repacked brownie, so I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for good and gluten free. Nice space and nice variety of drinks.Dietary restrictions: Not good for gluten free“
“I had a target gift card and decided to treat myself while I shopped. The baristas here were very patient with a Starbucks newbie and made me a 1/3 caf shaken oat milk espresso drink that was AMAZING. I’m admittedly not a big Starbucks fan as I prefer to make my own coffee or visit small businesses. Just wanted to give a shout-out for excellent service!“
“Coffee is great, vibe is great, baristas are very nice - but in the few times I’ve been there, they’ll randomly close an hour earlier than their regular hours, without any warning. Just change your hours! It’s sucks to settle down to get some work done, buy a meal and coffee and get kicked out an hour earlier than you expect.“
“Not your typical Charbucks. This one has much better quality espresso and milk. My Latte tastes way better here, and you can smell the awesome coffee scent as you enter the bookstore. I typically avoid other Charbucks stores in town, because they use cheap, burned coffee beans, and prefer to come to this one.“
“So glad this is on our way to our destination!! The food and drinks are great. The workers seem a bit confused, and their order/ pick-up situation is a bit messy. No one really knows where to stand. You block the ordering line and then cross in front of those ordering to pick up your drinks.“
“I ordered a frappuccino and it didn't meet what I has ordered. I went into the store and the barrista worked with me on getting the taste and thickness correct. They ended up making me 4 drinks to help me know what I should say when ordering. I havebnever had such GREAT SERVICE. I will definitely go back and I will recommend them to anyone.“
“Saw this little shop today for the first time. The owner said they’ve been open for 3 1/2 years! I don’t know how I missed it. However, I don’t get to Champaign very often anymore. Anyway, I had a chocolate raspberry tart. It was beautiful and equally delicious! I wish I had taken a picture before I ate it! lol! I also purchased a mocha tart but I haven’t eaten it yet.“
