“Visiting from Virginia and was looking for that Chicago cuisine everyone raves about. Well this place exceeds expectations. The curb appeal is gorgeous. The staff are amazing. Pete makes an amazing blue cheese dirty martini. I’m very particular about my martinis and he overdelivered. So the food. They have created an environment where bar meets fine dining. The presentation, the taste…impeccable. We had the hummus and garlic parm wings…they did not disappoint. Then the presentation for the burger with their logo stamped in the bun was the finishing touch. Definitely in our top ten across the country.”

“Visited SemSem for the first time, the food was very very good but the service excellent ?! I highly recommend trying the Fetta Fries, they were delicious! Also had the Pita with Stake. Coming back to try other items from the menu! “Falafel sandwiches were great! I loved the food, but a paid $34 for 4 small sandwiches. I would need like three to get full. Great food, but too expensive. If the sandwich was normal size, bigger, I would have no complaints. They were mini.”

“Went Saturday night for pizza. It's was amazing. The dough was homemade. Paper thin crust that is their specialty. The sauce is homemade. The cheese is rich. The place is run by a nice,hard-working Italian couple.Had a cold MillerLite. Doesn't get much better than this. PS The chicken parm is outstanding.”

“Greeted right away by Cindy. Super attentive and fast. A softball team came in a while later. Asked for a few buckets, specialty drinks and pizzas. She was awesome at attending to everything and I even overhead the team say she was "on fire" tonight which I feel is accurate. Over all, awesome experience and fun time! Highly recommended and will be back!”

“I hadn't been here in about 2 years and was quite surprised by their updated menu offerings. We sat at the bar and Gabby was an awesome and attentive server. We dined on salad, ribs, fries and the Mimi bowl and 2 glasses of wine. Unfortunately, they were out of the prime rib. Great sports bar, plenty of parking, easy access to expressways and major thorough fares. Definitely worth a visit and I'll be back.They also have an outdoor patio!”

“Unfortunately I didn’t get any pics of my order as I took my food to go . This place is awesome !! I loved everything I got ! Definitely surprised to have gotten these great of carnitas while in the burbs usually you have to go to the city for the good ones but this place is great ! I got Carnitas tacos and pastor tacos with onions and cilantro and a side of rice allll amazing flavor and madePerfectly. I loved all 3 of the homemade sauces that came with it . Pared so well either way the carnitas ! I will be back ! I definitely recommend this place . Service was fast and great . Small area to eat if you choose to dine in .”

“I come often with my daughter. The guys that work there are very friendly, and professional. Food is ways piping hot. The fat fries are delicious. The gyro meat and pita are always fresh and they load the meat. The chili dog is delicious, the bacon cheeseburger is delicious and charbroiled. Large crispy onion rings. Pop is always fresh.”

“This place was an absolute lifesaver of sociable mental health during the rise and height of the pandemic back in 2020/2021. With the pretty awesome outdoor setup/beer garden, we were able to socially distance and yet still be around others and feel like we or still part of the communities around us. It fulfilled the need we had a social creatures to be around others, but to do so in a safe way.Now that we are on the other side of the pandemic with it's decline & the need to be socially distant isn't as necessary, this place has a hidden gem inside with board games, and weekly fun such as bingo and trivia nights. I would recommend asking for samples of the beers before you get a whole glass, because some of them may surprise you in flavor by how tart or heavy they are. This brewery does not take their flavorfulness of their beer lightly. ? They even sell jugs of their beer that you can take home, and the jug has their logo on it (as well as merch), so it is a nice souvenir to keep even if for the memories.....or you can bring the jug back in for an inexpensive refill.The banquet hall that was next door was torn down, so it is much easier to see the brewery from Harlem Ave, since it's set back quite a bit from the main roadway. I could even see this place being used for a wedding/party venue for their outdoors appeal.”
