“We stopped in for supper. I had the grilled tenderloin and my wife had the chicken sandwich with waffle fries. Everything was cooked well with great seasoning. Their house sauce is very good-somewhat tangy and you can taste the bourbon flavoring. The food order came out quick even though the place was busy. We will definitely go back and recommend to others.“

“Flew in for a few hours and this was recommended at the airport. We arrived a little before they opened and many people were already parked in the lot waiting, a good sign. I had the soup and salad and my coworker had the garlic pizza. Both meals were good. The cranberry walnut salad was the highlight. Despite many people arriving at once the service was quick and we did not wait long for our freshly made meals.Vegetarian options: If vegetarian just let your waiter know. They do put bacon on salads but I asked and they left it off for me.“

“As soon as I walked into this place it smelled amazing. The pork chop I tried with a side of rice was very good. Their fresh spring rolls was also very delicious. I recommend them and will definitely be back.“

“This was a cute and quaint little place. You could tell they absolutely have regulars that know the waitress' name (Suzy I think?). She was very nice and likely the only waitress that actually works there. She handled 5 tables at once with ease. This place is pretty small (5 tables in the room we were in and another 2-3 near the entrance/kitchen). They surprisingly had a lot of options on the menu and although it is a bbq place, my coworker and I did not try it as we had a long day ahead of us! They sell breakfast, bbq and lunch all day though so whenever the desire strikes, you can eat it here! We both ended up getting cheeseburgers and they were good! I realized we weren't asked how we wanted the meat cooked, but it came out well-done which is how I would have asked for it anyway. The meat was still tender and juicy. The fries were also just a little crispy, which I enjoyed and the coleslaw was sweet and delicious ( and I don't like many people's coleslaw)! It felt like a family atmosphere and it was a nice little place. I'd definitely come back to try the BBQ if I was ever back in this area.“

We ordered garlic knots and El Gringo calzone. I cannot wait to eat there again because this calzone was SO good. One was big enough for 2 adults to share. I forgot to order it with no tomato but even that didn't affect my usual taste preference. The marinara is a tad spicy but their homemade ranch is very tasty.Its very busy and can get loud inside but the atmosphere was very laid back and chill. 10/10 would eat again.“

“Very neat place but small. The service was adequate, there were only two people working and they were busy. However my meal was great! We started with a local brew and their pretzel and beer cheese dish. The pretzel was HUGE! Definitely a two person or more dish to share. But it was delish and I recommend trying one when you visit. Go for the set red dipping sauce, I forget what it was, but it was good.I had a very tasty signature salad. You've got to try it! From the fresh baby spinach, salty walnut, sweet cranberry, and the feta to the rich balsamic vinegarette dressing, oh my! The combination of flavors! It was truly delicious! I also had a cup of corn chowder that was very hearty, served with toasted baguettes, and I couldn't finish it all. Thankfully, they have to go soup bowls, I love that! Lunch for tomorrow. “After moving here for college, I went and ate here with friends and loved it. I enjoy the atmosphere, especially when it is warm out, being able to choose to eat inside or out. The outdoor seating is great, with the ability to play games and take photos. The food is also delicious, and I love the ability to walk up and order right away, without waiting. The food is always warm and quick, rarely having to wait.“

“We were seated very quickly and the waitress came out in about 5 minutes, took our drink order, brought it in about 10 but NEVER seen her again. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we asked for a new server. They moved us to a new server and he was fantastic (wish I could remember his name). The sad part is the waitress didn’t have many tables and just kept disappearing. Anyways, she lost out on a $65 dollar tip. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was horrible!!! “The review says, "what can I recommend about Duck City"...The answer to that, is everything. There is not one thing on the menu not worth getting. The Chef greets you, checks in on you. The wait staff is so attentive. Drinks were refilled, bread and butter kept coming. My meal was as if God robed himself in flesh and plated my meal. I cannot understand how the food tastes the way it does, because I can assure you, nothing I make at home ever tastes like what I have had at Duck City. I was also surprised that the cheesecake was only $6! It was delicious. “Last night we went to Chevin's Kitchen and Catering located inside Kavanaugh’s Hilltop Bar and Grill in Rock Island. This is the second time we have stopped in recently for the daily special. We are so glad we did. From the prompt greeting by the servers and bar staff to the made to order burger sliders with fresh cut fries everything was AMAZING! Our servers were on top of it and so friendly. The food was GREAT! “When visiting my hometown of Moline this is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. I have been coming here since it opened decades ago and it is so good. Very friendly, attentive service. The ambience is comfortable and cozy. We had a 4 top table near the fireplace which was a perfect setting for a cold winters night . As it was Saturday night, the entire dining room filled up, so it is definitely a popular seating establishment. Our food all excellent. My favorite dish is the ginger chicken. My husband had the salmon. Both were excellent. The shrimp spring rolls (I think that is the name) are the best I have had anywhere! Service tends to be a bit slow. Looking forward to another meal here when we are back in town! Thank you!“

“Great Quad Cities style pizza! Their sausage mushroom is delicious! I love the amount of toppings that they included. They are worth the cost! I would eat this pizza every single time I visit the Quad Cities, as we are from out of state. The quad cities has "ruined me" on many other pizzas in Ohio because they are so good!!!
