“My husband and I finally got to check out this coffee shop! It was absolutely amazing. I had an amazing service experience. I wish I could remember the individual who helped me, but I have forgotten their name. I ordered the Iced Leroy and my husband ordered the mailman frappe. Both were fantastic. Mine had peanut butter mocha and banana. The banana flavor was not overwhelming which I figured it would be. It was the perfect mix! We also got a cinnamon roll. It was so good and served just slightly warm. The only downside is I wish it were just a bit warmer and it would be absolutely fantastic! Don’t miss out on this coffee shop. Shop small and local!! 10/10 recommend!!“

“Giving 4 stars because I am espresso snob and I felt the espresso could have been stronger. My americano was very weak tasting and watery. Food, staff, and other items are great. I had an energy drink most recently, and it wasn't too sweet like other places in the area. I enjoyed it!“
“Absolutely love this place, none of that diet ice cream like DQ. And their water down soft serve . Their vanilla & chocolate ice cream is fabulous ? the Lg hot fudge sundae could be a little bigger it is like the medium & LG are the same size, I visit both east moline & coalvalley they both do a great job, kudos to the owner.“

“Very cute coffee show about 8 minutes from Rock Island, IL. Here for work and Starbucks or hotel coffee isn't my thing. Really liked the vibe of this place, coffee was good, chicken wrap was good and view was great. Seattle vibes in Moline.“

“We flew 4 families from around the country to crash at a local Airbnb for a family reunion. We decided to take a stroll to the Valley Country Cafe, at the recommendation of my mom (who had eaten there the day before), with 10 people on a Friday morning. Immediately impressed, they had a table ready for us (my mom had warned them we were coming) and were on top of drinks within moments of us arriving. I'm always pleased with a carafe of coffee at the table, so we didn't have to ask for refills. This was a nice touch! The menu has just about anything you could ask for, from pancakes & crepes, to omelets and a variety of biscuit & gravy options... The kids & grownups alike were beyond excited by the sprinkles and chocolate chip options for the pancakes. They kept on top of our drink refills, our food arrived promptly & was hot and delicious, and service was amazing. The entire staff was friendly and easy to talk to. They didn't hesitate to bring hot sauces or refills whenever we'd asked. The food was delicious! Hot, fresh, well seasoned! I usually cringe at the idea of taking a large party out to eat, because inevitably - something goes wrong... but not this time. It was an amazing experience, from service to food, all the way around. We will definitely be back when we're in town again!“

“It's a small building that I'm pretty sure a car ran into, few tables and hard metal chairs... with some of the best food I've had reminds me of my Hispanic step moms cooking, the elote was superb and the El pastor tacos were devoured with gusto. Great bunch of ladies working there definitely will be back for the “

“When I'm in the Quad Cities visiting family, I always try to stop at Lavender Crest for Lunch and of course wine. . My most recent visit was on a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon. We dined on their outdoor patio. I love eating outside when I can and the patio offers a nice view of part of their Vineyard. I sampled 1 of the newest wines, Stone Grown. It's a white sweet wine of Apple and Cinnamon. We loved it so much we had a bottle with our lunch. A nice bonus if you buy 6 bottles you receive 10% off. For lunch I had a cup of the Tomato Bisque Soup and Ron's Roast Beef. The soup was nice and hot and very flavorful. I also enjoyed the sandwich, but next time I'd ask them to toast or grill the bread. It is a very hearty appetizing sandwich. Our server was excellent and very attentive. She easily handled a number of tables during a busy lunch time. I've been here several times throughout the years and have never been disappointed.“
