“Nice little spot to grab some dinner and beer! Loved the beer battered mozzarella sticks and the fried mushrooms were absolutely divine. The fish and chips were fine, but nothing to write home about.Beers were good, service was fantastic and pretty quick, mind you we were there before dinner/evening rush, so it wasn't super crowded.“
“I’ve been friends with the owners far before Bargenta became the most fun & affordable location for miles & miles given it’s location. However, If you suffer from Anxiety? ? This should help. Because it’s the most friendly & Helpful Bar you’ll ever walk in to. If you want to talk to a stranger, No problem.. if you just need a drink & want to be left alone? No Problem.. you won’t be bothered unless you owe me money. Then imma probably bother you ?? But really though it’s a beautiful bar, With an awesome beer garden out back. “We were there towards the end of the night so the servers were ready to go home, dinner felt a bit rushed. I liked the food that I ordered (cheesy bread sticks and a small calzone). The house sauce was great for me I like sweet sauce and it was definitely sweet. My father got the mushroom appetizer and said it was not good at all, but he didn't tell me until after we left or we would have returned them.“
“If you're looking for a down home dive bar, this is it. The atmosphere is usually pretty calm and personable. I've been going here since I was a kid to get burgers. Best burgers in Decatur! Bartenders always make you feel at home. I love this place and it's a staple of the West end.“
