“In a city not known for culinary excellence, the Gin Mill is the exception. Had a delightful pork chop dinner recently. The decor with its high ceilings and beautiful bar is way above average. Slight complaint was caesar salad dressing was rather excessive and mediocre. Service was attentive, perhaps a little too much so. Given the local alternatives, I would go back in a minute.”

“This is my favorite place to eat in Decatur! I’ve eaten here many times and every time, the menu is just full of total bangers. Like every single thing I’ve had here is amazing. I have dreams about the butter board appetizer. I haven’t had one thing from here that I didn’t like. 10/10 would totally recommend.”

“I can't rate the food because we did not eat, but the beer was decent and the bartender was friendly! It was not busy during the Saturday afternoon we visited, but it looked like they were having a band or something later. We went to Decatur specifically to go to 3 breweries, Golden Fox had the best beer of the 3.”

“We held a work party in the back room. The weather was great so we were able to open the doors in the back and be outside. The food was amazing, pricing was very reasonable for the amount of people we had, and the touch tunes machine in the back room was great for music.”

Everyone's food was amazing. The staff and server were super accommodating. It was a great atmosphere. Thanks for making our kids' state wrestling weekend start on a good note. My family will be back when we are in Decatur!! They even printed special menus for our group!”

“I was very happy to buy my Harry Potter themed cupcakes local from Bodine's Bakery. The cupcakes were fresh, moist, and weren't overly sweet and tasted amazing. I liked the flexibility she offered for my pick up time, because I don't get off of work until 6pm. I only gave 4 stars due to the initial responsiveness being slower, but it looks like she is a one man band and I didn't have an issue after the first few messages back and forth. I would definitely buy from this business again!”

“This place is always fast. I leave the house right after I order and get to the restaurant in 15 minutes. The pizza is pretty much always ready by then. I love pizza hut pan crust and the cheese and veggies are always delicious. Staff are very friendly. What's not to like?”

“I loved this place so much I went back a second time two days later. Very talented chefs, top-notch service, and delicious food all around. I especially recommend the crab Rangoon dip. We did have a pretty substantial wait for a table despite having a reservation, but they more than made up for it with a fantastic experience.”
