“Got here before 5pm and the place was empty, which was nice. Got seated right away and after reviewing the menu, went with Hokkaido Cha-Shu Ramen and small order of Karrage.Chicken was perfectly fried, only had few pieces and took the rest home because I wanted to enjoy the ramen. Now, I'm not a fan of miso ramen, but their version was better than what I had expected and had in many other joints in the states. I was bit lost with the two potato wedges they threw in there and the cha-shu was bit dried unfortunately.Service was awesome, water got filled w/o me asking and food came out quickly. The place got busy after 5pm and by the time I left, all the tables were occupied. Would recommend you visit before the dinner rush.“

“Hands down 5 stars. The food is very delicious, especially the pancakes which are all unique. I really like the berry pancakes. The mushroom omelette I had was phenomenal ( I added Swiss cheese and avocado to the original) and my mother had the gluten free s'mores version and loved it. The veggie skillet was decent but probably wouldn't order again. We also had crepes which were very sweet. The service was quick and efficient despite being totally packed. You didn't feel rushed or forgotten. We put ourselves on the virtual waiting list because there is always a wait, even on weekdays.“

I'v also bought them at Pure Juice Cafe in Arlington Heights. With my wacky commute, I've also been able to find them at Brewpoint Coffee in Elmhurst as well as Conscious Cup in Palatine. We love their muffins, cookies, and donuts so so much. They are tasty and never give us a problem with our special dietary restrictions. They also are at the Mundelein Farmer's Market and offer seasonal special sales from their wholesale baking location in Mundelein. I follow them on Instagram where they advertise their latest products or new flavors. I also keep tabs on which businesses stock them on their IG page because it feels like the list keeps growing! Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. “This place is a great place for casual eating! I love getting the seasonal Kong Guksu (cold bean noodles), and the Tteokbokki was such a hit amongst my friends and family! The food was also very fresh and had lots of different flavor profiles. Delicious and healthy Korean food in the neighborhood. Truly a gem in Korean food scene. Staff is incredibly polite and kind and the food is, as they claim in their website, authentic. It is just like home made cooking I remember and all ingredients are super fresh. One child's food came and the other came 8 minutes later.... doesn't seemlike a lot but it's a lot when you are with hungry kids. “My husband's birthday was great, thanks to La Pizza Via! With Ben's help, I surprised him on a Tuesday after work with an intimate dinner gathering with a few close friends in their dining area. It was the perfect setting for a quick surprise celebration. Ben took care of absolutely everything, from the ambiance to the food. All I had to do was send out invitations and get my husband there! The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. We can't recommend La Pizza Via enough – it's a wonderful spot for a special occasion.“

When you see Eric, the first thing you'll think is: this guy should be modeling for Dolce and Gabbana! I mean, I'd venture to guess that his last name must be Dior. He's the real deal, balancing professional hospitality with positive vibes. PF Chang's got it right: Eric is the guy you want greeting your customers when they first walk in.The other hero during our visit was our wonderful server, Caitlan. This young lady has got all the basics down (i.e. friendly, efficient, frequent check-ins, etc). But what makes Caitlan so special is this: she has the gift of connecting with her customers. At some restaurants, you'll get a server that isn't very genuine, and customers can see thru that. Not Caitlan. My son, who is 3 years old, couldn't wait for Caitlan to come back so that he could chat with her about his green dump truck. Caitlan is enthusiastic, authentic, genuine...the list goes on and on. It was so refreshing to hear some of her background and ambitions outside of work. She is such a sweet young lady with a bright future ahead of her.Kudos to PF Chang's. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

The first course that we had was calamari, and they were much larger pieces than I'm accustomed to, and the breading was a little bit soggy however, the second appetizer we ordered was clams, and it was absolutely phenomenal.
