“Highly recommended! Fantastic quality and taste along with prompt courteous, friendly service. NOW, this is an outstanding milkshake shown in the picture purchased from Oberweis dairy and ice cream in Rolling Meadows on Algonquin Road. The spoon that came with it stood up straight without any support from the glass sides, indicating a nice thick creamy milkshake. It was delicious costing me the same price as Baskin-Robbins but far superior quality than what I received at Baskin-Robbins/Dunkin’ Donuts. Ten Stars for Oberweis. The Rolling Meadows location also has a very nice outdoor seating area as well as indoor seating. We get Oberweis milk delivered to our house. We love the milk too and many other products they offer.“

“The dim sum at this restaurant is just ok. The ordering is via IPad which is interesting. The dim sum comes ala carte instead of from a cart. Even with it coming straight out of the kitchen, the food didn’t come out hot which is disappointing.“

“I am 38, first time ever going here, was amazing. Went with my gf, my little brother and a group of friends. It was on Monday (Memorial Day 2024-4pm show), smaller crowd and at first, it was dead quiet so I just got up and began and started yelling for our knight (yellow/red) and then the crowd just became louder around the stadium. But yellow/red won! It was an awesome experience. Good food, friendly people and good stuff. Came away with some souvenirs, but you WILL pay, however, it was all worth it. Will be back in the future sometime soonish.“

Got seated right away and after reviewing the menu, went with Hokkaido Cha-Shu Ramen and small order of Karrage.Chicken was perfectly fried, only had few pieces and took the rest home because I wanted to enjoy the ramen. Now, I'm not a fan of miso ramen, but their version was better than what I had expected and had in many other joints in the states. I was bit lost with the two potato wedges they threw in there and the cha-shu was bit dried unfortunately.Service was awesome, water got filled w/o me asking and food came out quickly. The place got busy after 5pm and by the time I left, all the tables were occupied. Would recommend you visit before the dinner rush.“

“Hands down 5 stars. The food is very delicious, especially the pancakes which are all unique. I really like the berry pancakes. The mushroom omelette I had was phenomenal ( I added Swiss cheese and avocado to the original) and my mother had the gluten free s'mores version and loved it. The veggie skillet was decent but probably wouldn't order again. We also had crepes which were very sweet. The service was quick and efficient despite being totally packed. You didn't feel rushed or forgotten. We put ourselves on the virtual waiting list because there is always a wait, even on weekdays.“

Service is friendly and patrons are everyday people, which makes this good for dine-in as well as carryout.Dine-in is recommended, though,because of the larger indoor area and the fact that the tortillas are just slightly crispy on the outer shell, which makes for a really good bite. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. “Located in the Rose Hotel, same proximity as Dave and Buster’s and Trulucks. If the parking is full, just park in the huge parking lot across the street by Dave and Buster’s. When you walk into the hotel, the Thorn restaurant is to your right. The vibe is semi classy and intimate. It can also be a casual place to hang out, eat, and watch tv. Service was fantastic, they really take care of you over here. Prices are reasonable given the atmosphere. I had shrimp tacos, hemp hummus, and the Westcoast smasher burger. Pro tip: when you check in on Yelp, you get the hemp hummus for free. It was big enough to share with two other people.-shrimp tacos 5 - these are good sized tacos. Easily shareable. The shrimp pieces were fresh and juicy. Shells were soft. Avocado pieces were large chunks. The corn tortilla chips were crunchy and did not break easily.-hemp hummus 5 - fresh ingredients and warm naan. Very light appetizer.-Westcoast smasher 5 - ordered it medium and it came out perfect. It’s a very clean burger. Your hands don’t get oily or greasy. Meat practically melts in every bite. Special sauce amplifies the flavor. French fries were crispy and they’re on the thinner side. Well seasoned.“

“Detroit native living in Texas I wanted a corned beef sandwich before leaving Chicago. Went in ordered 2 mile high sandwiches for me and my boyfriend before heading to the airport. I wanted to taste the sandwiches to make sure they would hit. I only got corned beef from Detroit and my favorites are from coney islands. We took one bite of this sandwich turned around and got 2 more. The corned beef melts like butter sandwiches are amazing“

“We visited Minami Sushi based on a friend's recommendation and enjoyed our visit.We ordered some Korean items including the live octopus tentacles which were delicious!For the main course, we had the Full Fluke Sashimi ( 2people ) and ate to our hearts' content. “I randomly stopped in here while on vacation. Boy was it delicious!! There was a line out the door so I knew it had to be good. The line went incredibly fast and the food was so fresh and good. I got the California chicken sandwich on a flatbread. My only regret was not ordering more! The people working were very friendly. Great atmosphere, easy and convenient set up!
