“They give you nice fat chunks of gyro meat here, it's excellent. My wife and I had a Chicago dog, pizza puff, bomber special, onion rings, Oreo shake. Everything was very good and the prices were fine. Bomber Special and Pizza Puff were my faves. Great dive vibes; it's a tiny 8-stool bar with a little TV in the corner. Playing tennis when I went (hell yeah)The gyro meat was chunky and had a good bite, and with BBQ sauce on the bomber special it was insane. The onion rings are breaded and I personally prefer battered, but the breading was even and fried well, and the inside was all beautiful stringy onions. Pizza puff was fantastic, great cheese and sauce ratio and really satisfying bites all the way through.Chicago dog was good, they use a poppyseed bun (I'm sick of going to spots with regular buns, this is a real dog) except I think the sports peppers were a little heavy. Tomatoes were a little light, but I prefer that. Oreo shake was excellent, it was creamy and a little icey in a good wayThe guy was really nice too. He was great at interacting with the customers that were interested and laying off the ones just trying to enjoy their food. 10/10 spot“

“Nostalges Dairy Queen is walk-in service only. Few idealic parking spaces in the back and two in front no area is to sit around except on the guardrail. Totally what I remember growing up. Service is what you expect it's crowded everyone everybody wants ice cream a hot day, they're doing the best they can. Great flavor of ice cream and special treats. Dairy Queens are independently run, each place can charge their own prices. So you will find other Dairy Queens with other prices, FYI.“

We got the Tahini Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Kefta Burger, and the Stuffed Falafel; not a dud in the bunch. The toppings and condiments that some on the burger and sandwich made basic diner food such a delight without feeling over the top. The real stand out was the stuffed falafel. I never thought of having a filling in a falafel, and the sweetness of the caramelized onions was such a delicious complexity to a classic Middle Eastern dish. Then we had the salad that was on the Specials list. It was a smear of ricotta cheese with butter lettuce, peas, asparagus, watermelon radishes and a very light, tasty vinaigrette dressing. So fresh and flavorful. The owner came by our table and has a huge farm in Wisconsin so everything is so fresh and menu changes with seasons. My husband had the catfish. He is a southern boy and he loved it. Huge portion as well! Two of us had the cavatelli. Fresh pasta and layered with textures and flavors. And one of us had the burger. “Man this place is such a GEM. I’ve lived in the area for years in different spots and always end up ordering from here frequently. Their consistency is spot on. Their burgers are actually delicious. For SLIGHTLY more than the cost of fast food you could eat a real burger and fries. It’s not gonna be a fancy “artisan” burger or hot dog. You pay a cheap price for food that was made with classic Chicago charm and no pretentious intent. Very authentic and close to its original taste. Therefor, I can recommend this to the Buffalo lovers! Last burger in my ratings is the „Eleburger" the name made me curious, I ate it and it's classic, standard, nothing out of the ordinary burger. 3.5/5. in my opinion, the mustard taste was slightly too dominant. All in all, I will say that this is a great place to order from! I never visited the restaurant itself and only ordered and can therefore not speak on the actual restaurant itself. “I was told this Dairy Queen was at this location for over 65 years and had that fantastic atmosphere for my day gone by. I enjoyed my ice cream treat and so did my wife and we were very happy coming to this location and we'll again. This location at a narrow parking lot in back because it was on a major corner but I no problem in parking or enjoying my Ice cream.“

“Fittingly delicious has been my life saver! The meals are high quality, tasty, and great value. Most meals have 25-50g of protein with loads of options 35-45g which is a challenge I’ve found in other services. I get the 20 meal plan and keep meals out for the week and freeze the rest for the following week and they freeze well. I’ve had one or two hiccups but the customer service has been literally impeccable! Super friendly, proactively comes up with a resolution that is beyond satisfaction. “My boyfriend has been wanting to take me to Cross-Rhodes forever as they have one is his favorite burgers; The Rhodes Burger, which is a half pound burger patty with cheese, topped with gyros meat on a sesame seed bun. It sits on a bed of steak cut Greek fries, which are equally loved. It's a big burger and will keep you full for most of the day. He asked for it to be cooked medium, and it was perfectly medium. I took a couple of bites, and the meat was so soft and juicy and the gyros was perfectly crispy. They don't skimp on the gyros. I ordered chicken souvlaki with grilled vegetables and tzatziki sauce. Chicken kabob in general is pretty similar from restaurant to restaurant, but their chicken kabob was one that I especially enjoyed. It had great flavor, wasn't dry, but also wasn't swimming in juice and had a beautiful char. I love a char on my meats, so it was pretty hard to not finish my plate. The tzatziki was very good - thick, with good flavor and not overly garlicky. The service was wonderful. We were greeted upon arrival and as we left by who I assume was the owner. Our waitress was very sweet and personable and made you feel right at home. Very cozy place. If you're in the area, be sure to give it a try.“
