“Came here last night with one of my friends to watch the Cubs game and it was a nice low-key atmosphere. Lots of TV's and a cool layout of the place. Sweet potato fries combined with Sam Adams' Oktoberfest beer was a good decision. Service was great! Definitely recommend if you're local or passing through and are looking for a spot to watch a game.“
“This place seemed as if it was an upscale sports bar. Plenty on tvs to view games, but above that was the food! I was very surprised at how everything tasted, making me savor that last bite. Cocktails ? were pleasant and just the overall presentation. If you are in the area, definitely make a stop and try this place. The fried alligator was a hit!!“
“My work team and I went to Union Ale House to take part in their Wednesday night trivia competition. We had a fun time. There is something on the menu for everyone and lots of drink choices too. The food was tasty. Service was good, which for a group of our size was impressive. The only two criticisms I had were that the bathroom could use improvement and the parking lot needs help. Not enough spaces to park and I parked by a very scary looking ditch. We'd definitely go back again.“
“A Chicago-style 'beer before' and 'beer and a shot' after work drinking establishment. Wonderfully unpretentious with excellent bartenders. We spent most of our time drinking, so no complaints on the price. Washrooms could use a little more attention, but not a deal breaker.“

“Honestly was a little nervous when I saw how little people there was and how extensive their menu was. We only got the golden shrimp (appetizer) and sushi items. So nothing from the grill side. “An absolute gem of a local neighborhood bar and bowling alley. Eight lanes of bowling with some of the original Brunswick automatic pinsetters, top ball return, and manual scoring (there are free apps available for scoring if you so desire). $6 per game and $2 for shoes (as of this posting February 2024), an absolute bargain. They have a full bar with 12 tap beers including a good selection of local craft brews (plus myriad bottles selections), and over 100 types of liquor, including flavored vodkas, whiskeys, rum, tequila, and everyone's favorite Malört. Wine is limited to individual serve bottles. The staff and owner are absolute legends, quick with their service and phenomenal personalities. They do not serve food aside from a few bags of chips, however, they do encourage ordering in. Joe's Pizza just down the street makes some of the best thin crust tavern cut pizza you'll ever enjoy. A pool table and TouchTunes jukebox are available as well. Outdoor seating is a great way to relax on those warm spring and summer days.“

“We had our son's 1st birthday in the Fireplace Room at Countryside Saloon recently and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out! We'd recommend anyone to have a big party here. We had about 50 guests and the space was more than big enough for people to walk around and mingle or sit down to eat. Staff allowed me to arrive an hour before the official party start-time so we could put up birthday decorations, including a large balloon arch (which the staff actually helped us take down & discard after the party, which was very helpful). We ordered an unlimited pizza, salad, and pasta salad food option from the kitchen, along with unlimited domestic beer pitchers, which all worked out wonderfully; food was delicious and nobody left hungry (or thirsty!). And the cost was reasonable to feed 50 people. Too bad our son will be too young to remember it, but everyone else had a great time!“

“Great place to go have a drink and grab food! Literally and an option for everyone when it comes to beer, liquor, wine, and food. If your a blue cheese fan, don't even get me started! The blue cheese is made in house and can't be beat! Smooth and chunky ???. It's pretty chill until around midnight and the pops off. So you can have a chill time or a club vibe depending on when you go. Plenty of games to play and plenty of slots to play as well.“

“Went here on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, and we were able to make reservations the night before. Great service and accommodations for the busy evening! We both ordered beers, and the food was fantastic. I got the chicken piccata, and he ordered the bacon burger. We both had the Chipotle mayo on the side that added a great twist to both meals. Splitting the two was a great idea. I like the open concept of the restaurant as one side is a bar and the other is more centered around dining. I'd definitely make my way back here when I'm in the area. Totally recommend!“
