“Honestly, this place was one of the best places i’ve eaten in a while. The interior of the restaurant is adorned beautifully in stunning paintings. The food was superb and tasted amazing. My favorite was the hot tea that was just the perfect taste and left me feeling satisfied.“
“My family and I happened to this quaint restaurant by accident. We originally we looking to eat some Japanese food then decided to try something different. The owner, Linda greeted us warmly and made our entire eating experience personable and warm. The food was to die for, it reminded me of my mom's home cooking which I haven't had in a long time. We had the fried chicken with the garlic FRIED rice (Extremely HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). We also had the Lumpia Shanghai which my girls promptly devoured. We also had the fried chicken (full one... should have ordered the half one, but we got the full one).... it was delicious and my girls loved it!!!! We hope to come here again to try the Tocino and Longanisa and the Spaghetti. We couldn't finish the Kaldereta, so we had it the to go and dropped it off to my mom who said wow!! The girls also had the Halo Halo which they also drank on the way to Grandmas!Prices range from $$ to $$$. So bring your wallets.Highly Recommended. We will eat there again. When dining there, if you are not into OX-tail, promptly ask them to give you beef cubes instead which they will serve when asked.“
“Delicious food in a cozy setting. I had the Bistek Tagalog Combo and the halo-halo for dessert. It was more than enough food and the cashier helpfully offered to serve the dessert after I finished my meal. When I left at around 6pm, it seemed to switch to table service. I will definitely be back and enjoy their cute outdoor seating area.“
“Love this place. Fresh food made to order. Have tried a few dishes, never disappointed. The milkfish is my favorite and the noodle. Deliciously prepared by a lovely lady. I appreciate the service, food, and dine in available. Having again for dinner sooner than later.“
“Had a great experience my first time here. Food was delicious, portions were huge, and the service was phenomenal!! Service is what really stood out to me. Also they were very fast and gave a complimentary cookie and fortune cookie with the check. Highly recommended ! Try the combination rice can't go wrong.“
“Everything about this place was perfect, the food was 11/10 the chicken was amazing, the servers were very nice especially this 1 lady I didn't get her name. The atmosphere was very welcoming, It was like I was back home in the Philippines everyone was speaking tagalog over all I would eat here every chance I get. This place needs to get 5 stars“
“Excellent food. This is a true family operation with Lola in the kitchen making everything homemade. The bangus (i.e. deboned milkfish), chicken adobo, garlic fried rice, and lumpia Shanghai are ALL the best in class. The chicken adobo is so soft that it falls right off the bone. And the family is very nice, too. Great people, great food, and very reasonably priced.“
“Very inviting place, food is amazing, clean lavatory, a bit pricey but worth it for the quality you receive. Super authentic and place seems to be ran by husband and wife. Place is huge so you won't have to worry about waiting to be seated. Everyone here has a smile, staff is super friendly. If you're looking for great Filipino food, this is your place.“
“The wife and I were visiting from out of town and the taco place across the street was closed earlier than expected so we headed over to try this place out. The server was very kind, the food was tasty, and there were a couple dudes having a great time singing together; kinda wish I could have gotten a song in but I didn’t want to interrupt their good time. While waiting for our meal I found out my grandma died; nowhere else I would have rather received this terrible news, it was literally impossible to be too sad with those two pals passing the mic back and forth, hitting fewer notes than they missed, but not caring either way. Would recommend.“
“This restaurant is one of the best Filipino restaurants in the northern suburb of chicago. The food is always fresh and authentic. Only, the restaurant is soooo small. You feel like the staff is on top of you - staring at you. We mostly do take-out from this restaurant, but even with take-out, food is always good.“
