“Worth the wait and must try! Beautiful and unique venue in the unassuming town of Des Plaines. Our server was kind and welcoming, food was delicious, drinks were fun and tasty. The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. Looking forward to trying the brunch and the outside patio... overlooking the water.”

“Don't sleep on this place that's on the other side of O-Hare. The sushi & sashimi are fantastic, everything was mouthwatering from the fatty tuna to the sea urchin apps, and of course the rolls, we had some classic rolls, as well as signature ones with tuna and mango and softshell crab rolls. (and the kids loved the donkatsu, thankfully they haven't discovered sushi, yet!)”

“Awesome steakhouse in Rivers casino! We love Gibson's/Hugo's downtown, so it's always fun to go to this location at the casino. Steak, salads, cocktails, wine, desserts, all amazing! Service is great and the manager always seems to be around and checking in with tables. Always a fantastic experience”

“Lovely comfortable setting with tables as well as sofas. Novel idea with the wine dispensers. We enjoyed the stuffed dates and flat bread. I am planning going back with my book clubs!”

“This is one of the best little family owned Italian restaurants! Enjoyed a great family dinner. Not rushed like other places today. Food was phenomenal and pricing very reasonable for the high quality of the food and the extras. Great service. Will be back when I am up in the area again.”

“Went on a Saturday night. The beer was solid. The vibes were good. I felt bad for the woman working the bar. She was flying solo and there wasn’t an empty seat in the house. It was definitely a change of pace for Des Plaines.”

“There was a mishap with our appetizers, the restaurant comped both. Also a lady bug was found in a salad, but better than a roach. Otherwise good food, reasonably fast service.”

“Food was okay, atmosphere is cool, and the service was great. The food wasn't as flavorful as the other Mexican restaurants I'm used to from around the area. I had the pollo tacos and shared a platter of the nachos. Both were just okay - nothing to rave about. The restaurant itself is clean. Reminded us of a diner! The staff were also super kind and helpful, which is awesome. This hasn't replaced my go-to Mexican restaurant in the area, but I'd still visit again to try something else on the menu!”

“Oak wood charcoal Korean BBQ. What else needs to be said. Good portions, great quality meat, this is how bbq is meant to be. Definitely some of the best Korean BBQ I've had. Absolutely recommend, and will absolutely be returning!”

“The theatre is located in the downtown and is surrounded by few small restaurants/bars. I've experienced this theater multiple times, and it truly stands out as a fantastic renovated venue, seamlessly blending vintage Art Deco style with a vibrant music atmosphere. The acoustics in the theatre are good. The hidden speakeasy-themed bar on the second floor adds a charming touch to the overall experience.”

“A nice hole in the wall Korean restaurant. It's surprisingly very spacious inside and very homey. It's close to my place but first time checking it out! I ordered the gamja tang which is a soup made made with pork back bone and vegetables. It was tasty. Lots of big chunks of meat. My dad ordered the kal gooksoo, noodle soup with clams and vegetables. My brother ordered the sul lung tang, beef bone broth with thin slice beef, noodles, and green onions. I got to try a bit of their orders and everything was tasty. The 6 side dishes they bring out are also tasty. We naturally spoke to the server in Korean. She was very attentive and sweet. Prices are reasonable. It's nothing mind blowing but a place I'd recommend if you want some simple yet solid Korean food.”

“Food is good in general, especially for airport. Tuscany salad as a side had just enough dressing without being too much and balanced with the chickpeas. The cappuccino was excellent. Eggplant Parmesan was good, although I prefer it with breading.Constantine was the most friendly server I’ve ever had at an airport - telling stories, giving logic puzzles, offering knowledgeable recommendations on food and wines.In the back, the atmosphere felt quiet and relaxed, completely removed from being in a loud, stressful travel location.”

“This place has a pretty good ambiance. The service was excellent and it was super quick. The shrimp & chicken fried rice was delicious. Kung Pao chicken was ok. The dumplings and the rolls were great! The drinks menu for cocktail options were limited and tasted OK. Overall the food was ok and the service was excellent!”

“First time eating here and it really hit the spot. Got the fish taco dinner, they nailed it. The frijoles were a little too salty, but salty beans isn't going to ruin a good 5 star rating. I definitely recommend eating here and I'll be coming back for sure.”

“My family and I happened to this quaint restaurant by accident. We originally we looking to eat some Japanese food then decided to try something different. The owner, Linda greeted us warmly and made our entire eating experience personable and warm. The food was to die for, it reminded me of my mom's home cooking which I haven't had in a long time. We had the fried chicken with the garlic FRIED rice (Extremely HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). We also had the Lumpia Shanghai which my girls promptly devoured. We also had the fried chicken (full one... should have ordered the half one, but we got the full one).... it was delicious and my girls loved it!!!! We hope to come here again to try the Tocino and Longanisa and the Spaghetti. We couldn't finish the Kaldereta, so we had it the to go and dropped it off to my mom who said wow!! The girls also had the Halo Halo which they also drank on the way to Grandmas!Prices range from $$ to $$$. So bring your wallets.Highly Recommended. We will eat there again. When dining there, if you are not into OX-tail, promptly ask them to give you beef cubes instead which they will serve when asked.”

“Ordered takeout on a day that they were having a 50% off sale on select items for ordering online. Turned out to be a great deal for a last minute lunch! Love the crunch they throw into the spicy tuna roll. Also enjoyed their udon soup, first place in a while that I've ordered udon from who got the broth taste just right. Not the most fancy, but not low quality either! Just the right quality for a quick sushi order :)”
