“Wonderful place from the owners of Candlelight. They offer the ubiquitous Chicken George with yummy Jan’s sauce. We were served mini cornbread muffins on the table upon arrival. Wonderful. We ordered Burnt Ends as an appetizer. They were so great. I ordered the Chicken Southwest bowl. It smelled divine and was very filling. My wife ordered the Pub Burger and fries. She said the burger was okay but the fries were delicious. My sister had the Brisket Philly sandwich and said it was slightly above average. My parents both got Chicken George. My mom had garlic mashed potatoes and my dad fries. Both thumbs up. I’d say it’s worth a stop and ask for Kim to be your waitress. She’s phenomenal!“
“Went here for breakfast/brunch on Sunday, prices were higher than I expected, but portions were large enough to make up for it. We had all our kids split a plate, (8 of them). The server was polite, and the service was very quick. For as many plates as our table ordered, it felt like no sooner than we all ordered, the server was returning to the table with the food.Only real disappointment was that for what seemed like an otherwise classic diner, they did not have some classic foods on the menu. I was wanting some good biscuits and gravy but that's not even on their menu.“
“Lost Nation will always be one of my favorite courses as that is where my golfing journey began. Growing up I worked out there watering, cooking and bartending. It is a one of a kind course that has such great history and a very welcoming community. I now live out of town but look forward to playing anytime we are back and of course during our annual outing. I have already seen the vision and improvements of the new ownership. I look forward for what’s to come.“
