“My wife went to Lydia's Cafe for breakfast after our get away weekend and it was delicious! Small place so you get the home-cooked meal and our breakfast was great. “Aldeen Golf Club is easily the best value in IL. $60 with cart for the weekend rate is absolutely fantastic for a course of this quality. They have 5 tees ranging from 7,135 to 5,075. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are kept in immaculate condition. The greens are fast but very consistent. The driving range is real grass which is a huge bonus. Marshalls frequently circle the course so the pace is great. I can't say enough good things about this course.“

“I love Fresco at the Gardens! The food and service are great and staff is very attentive to my (demanding) family! I especially love walking the grounds and my six-year-old loves feeding the fish in the koi pond. It's a magical place. “A Rockford staple. Nice they have a drive thru too. The gyros here are really the star of the show (my wife would tell you the sweet potato fries are too). I honestly have come here for years and have never gotten anything other than the gyros, because why mess with perfection. Pro tip: get the sauce on the side so you can control how much is on there. Sometimes they go really hard and it's a little too much (for me).“

Service was absolutely amazing and the server was very knowledgeable of what they had in stock and what was not in stock. Being that we were there for Saint Patrick's Day they informed us that they did have green beer and they can make any beer green but it would be food coloring. I highly recommend it if you just want to come and hang out here for one beer or make it your daily hangout.“
