“First time visiting was St Pattys Day, and it was a GREAT experience. Our server was Chloe, and she was so good. We have a 9 month old baby, so we are still learning about how to manage that. “We dropped in for breakfast bright and early on a Saturday morning. A few tables were occupied by local regulars enjoying their coffee. The place boasts a clean, modern decor and offers excellent, friendly service. I opted for the classic eggs Benedict, which was absolutely perfect. My wife tried the "Sugga Momma" chicken & waffle dish and was blown away. To top it off, we indulged in the French beignets, which were simply fantastic. This is a rare 5-star review, but these folks truly deserve it.“

I had the chicken crispers which I never really had before as after 3+ years the menu changed a bit and what I used to eat fell off. I enjoyed a nice cold Blue Moon tall draft with them. “There is a wonderful Wisconsin type bar in Maple Park Illinois that has some of THE BEST FOOD around. WHEN we walked into LODI TAP HOUSE I instantly felt at home. I just love Wisconsin type bars and this one fits it so well with a BEER MUG CLUB WALL filled with mugs of all sorts, wood everywhere in a home style setting which made me sooo happy. We were instantly welcomed by Brittany the bar tender who told us to sit anywhere we wanted to. BRITTANY was amazing, there were several people there and she pleased everyone with her quick service, her wonderful personality and her great knowledge of the menu as the people who came in. Brittany knew her customers and catered to them accordingly. Brittany did it all up front with a smile on her face and a great laugh. We first ordered the HOMEMADE BEER BATTERED CHEESE CURDS and they were better than the ones in Wisconsin. They had a great tasting sauce with it and we asked for another one of these sauces for the burgers we ordered. WE then ordered their homemade beef soup and it was great... Lots of beef and veggie that were perfect for this soup. THEN came their burgers and WE JUST love them... I had a Tap house SMASH CHEESE BURGER double and hubby had a Blue Cheesy burger double, BOTH were incredible with flavor LOAD that exceeded my expectations. The Cheesy smash burger was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside just the way I love it. It had lots of Velveeta on it and it was wonderful with that sauce I put on is from the Cheese curds. Hubby's Blue Cheesy burger the same with lots of Blue Cheese and grilled onions on it. Both of us ordered the Fried Potato salad instead of the fries and it was wonderful. Fried potatoes chopped up nicely with and interesting cheese sauce, bacon and green onions. Everything about THE LODI TAP HOUSE MAPLE PARK is great and I cannot wait to go there again and soon. Cannot wait to see our new friend Brittany who was one of the best front restaurant worker I have ever seen. I left with a big smile on my face.“
“I met my granddaughter for lunch. She was excited to order the chips and salsa! We both ordered lunch, too. As we were eating the chips & salsa it was hit or miss OF BEING TOO SALTY! I usually would like the chips to be ‘lightly salted.’ THESE WERE NOT! Although we did not see the ‘salt,’ most of our conversation was about that! When are meals came we stopped eating the chips. When we were leaving, I casually mentioned to the waitress how at least half were TOO salty, she casually answered, “That could happen.” ?I am so mad that I didn’t ask for a refund for the chips! However, we have had multiple incidents where the service has taken an extremely long time to come around and serve us. I assume it is a matter of needing additional staff, but be prepared to wait. “I screwed my own order and didn’t bother to fix it. When the gentleman brought the food to my table I asked him why I was short some items. He simply showed me my ticket and explained it was not on the order. The young man was polite and walked away. 4 minutes later he came back with a side of fries for my kids. This is great customer service! I didn’t ask him for anything! I even offered to pay for and he simply said it was on the house. My 2 kids were happy to eat the fries!“
