“Pescatarian Italian fusion restaurant that checks every box: excellent food, ranging from well done standards, such as handmade pasta, through intricate dishes with creative flavors; thorough drink menu (enjoyed the Fuji Whiskey); ample portion sizes; pleasant atmosphere hitting the sweet spot between modern and classic, with comfortable seating; great music that was not too loud or intrusive, Spanish classical guitar playing instrumental pop covers (did they play that flamenco Final Fantasy VII Cover for our anniversary?); and well timed service. Hands down the best Kosher restaurant at which I've ever eaten.Vegetarian options: Pescatarian restaurant with a plethora of delicious vegetarian options.“

“This was the best Olive Garden I have ever eaten at, Great service, perfectly cooked food and the nicest service you could ask for. The only reason it's not a 5 across the boards is even though the atmosphere is very good you can still see you're at the airport. Highly recommended! I know I have a high per person price tag but considering I got the biggest salad, Alfredo drink and a cheesecake the size of a compact car I also tipped $20. You can get out for far less than I did.“

“We went Easter Morning for brunch and it was quite busy. The staff were not affected by the crowd, they were happy and very pleasant. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend dining here. I know we will be back next time we are in Chicago ❤️“

“The aesthetics are everything. Service is fine (they mixed up our reservations but figured it out in about 15 minutes and we were seated at our preferred spot), their burger is good, but the ribeye sandwich and Prosecco peach drink were meh. I was a little disappointed with their short menu options (and tiny dessert menu). It’s also definitely more expensive than it should be. Would probably only go back because of how pretty it is!“

“I've had every deep dish/pan pizza of note in Chicago in the last 30 years and George's is the best. That includes legends like Burt's and every place that's been on any best pizza list - Pizano's, Malnati's, Pequod's, Millie's, Labriola, etc.“

“The Dawson is a stable for brunch enthusiasts seeking a vibrant summer vibe. Their menu features refreshing cocktails, perfectly poached Benedicts, crispy potatoes, and a standout fried lobster appetizer. It’s the ideal spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a casual meal with friends. Their brunch ends at 3 (sorry can’t recall). But they have a monthly burlesque style brunch to keep an out out for!“

“Was in town for a national conference and had tried many other places until we got here. The food was amazing but our server Kevin made the experience so much better! After traveling all over the country I can say he by far is the best server I have ever had at any location across the country! Thank you for the best experience ever!“

“What a cute little gem in this city. The atmosphere was cozy but lively. I loved the lighting and musical soundtrack. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Both the host and waitress were pleasant and provided just the right amount of check-ins. Now on to the food. Everything we ate was delicious. From the fresh bread that they poured melted garlic butter onto table side to the yummy brussel sprouts. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente with very flavorful sauces. I'm sad that I was only able to eat there once as I only had. 4 day trip in Chicago, but I will definitely return.“

“Everyone back East said I had to try this pizza. I am not really a pizza fanatic, but holy smokes, this is really really good pizza. I had the personal pepperoni with extra cheese and fresh garlic. It was amazing. They delivered to my hotel (Palmer House), and the delivery was fast for a busy night and the delivery driver was really nice. I totally recommend the pizza and service.“

“Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Great tasting food. It was my first time there and the food was very tasty. Not your usual sloppy pita sandwich, (although I love those, also). Nice variety of appetizers. I tried the zucchini keftedes and they were great. Nice portion to share or have it alone for a meal. (next time I'm going to order them with less sauce because I like the flavor og the kefteda). I'm happy to see a Greek food restaurant in the neighborhood. gives the neighborhood a continued variety of great places to eat. I will be back. Best of luck.“

“Overall the taste of all the ingredients is very good and well seasoned. They also has some toppings less commonly seen like shredded beets and bean sprouts! The place is very clean and they also weigh the noodles/rice to ensure evenness. The only con I would say is that the scoops of fish are on the small side so I would recommend 5 scoops over 3 for an adult. Also you get more fish if you choose the fish that already have spicy sauce, like spicy tuna, as opposed to plain fish, like plain salmon, due to the scoop shape. The seaweed salad topping and masago are both $1 extra which a minor point off“

“My boyfriend and I stumbled upon the Garden Of Eat'n Restaurant last weekend for breakfast, and what a delightful discovery it turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience. We both opted for dishes from their "specials" menu, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. I ordered the red chilaquiles, being a lover of spice, and they certainly delivered on the heat! But beyond the spicy kick, every bite was bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, leaving us feeling fully satisfied and content. The ambiance of the Garden Of Eat'n is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal. It truly felt like dining in a hidden gem, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.Overall, our experience at the Garden Of Eat'n Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. Delicious food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere - what more could you ask for? If you're in the mood for a memorable breakfast or brunch experience, I highly recommend paying them a visit. You won't be disappointed!“

“We got this via door dash last night. Wow. So healthy and delicious. I got the goddess greens and it didn’t even need an added protein. The dressing was so good. My husband got the Mediterranean mix up and loved it and son got the ode to the roasted veggie. So excited for this addition to Evanston. We also love the non plastic containers!!!“

“We finally had an opportunity to enjoy eating here while vacationing. Surprisingly, there's only 2 locations only. We traveled an hour to eat here and we didn't regret it. The food quality is still very good and the service was good too. Hopefully there are plans to open more locations. The buffalo chicken calzone is tasty, the potatoes are superb, and pizza is very good. I highly recommend eating here.“

“We went to Farm Bar last night with another couple and it was so delicious I had to write a review. We started with the cheese curds and we all agreed that they are the best we have ever had. Then we had the salad that was on the Specials list. It was a smear of ricotta cheese with butter lettuce, peas, asparagus, watermelon radishes and a very light, tasty vinaigrette dressing. So fresh and flavorful. The owner came by our table and has a huge farm in Wisconsin so everything is so fresh and menu changes with seasons. My husband had the catfish. He is a southern boy and he loved it. Huge portion as well! Two of us had the cavatelli. Fresh pasta and layered with textures and flavors. And one of us had the burger. He said it was a great burger. Service was very friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend Farm Bar!! Can't wait until the summer and the rooftop opens.“

“The food is unique, tasty, and filling. $8 gets you 1 arancini and a side, and is enough for the average person. I have a bigger appetite, so I tried 2 kinds: the jerkcino and peanutcino. Both were good and more than enough food. I'll be back to try the other “

“Panes is my favorite sandwich place in Chicago! Their sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced, and they bake their own bread fresh that is also available for purchase. Their soup is quite good, and they have a variety of dessert options. I recommend calling about 20 minutes ahead to save time on pickup orders, although I also enjoy walking in to eat there, with natural light and fun art on the walls. I usually order the Super Panes, although the Todo Italiano is also a favorite!“

“Great spot to hit up for lunch. Went with the flaky fish option on the fresh veggies. The fish was well cooked. The garlic oil sauce as option 3 was a nice addition. Would've liked a bit more Brussels sprouts and broccoli, as most of the vegetables were stalks/greenbeans. Cool drink options and lovely place to sit outside if you want. A skosh pricy for drinks but the food options are reasonably priced.“

The ingredients were perfectly cooked and delightful ?.While the food was delicious, I'm also very optimistic that they will continue to innovate and introduce exciting new dishes in the future. ? For example, chef's choice section on the menu where they can showcase their culinary creativity, or loyalty program to reward frequent customers would be excellent (hopefully I don't ask them too much?)I truly enjoyed my experience at Ekiben, and I will definitely revisit and try another dish ?.“

“Suda’s offers delicious Lebanese cuisine in an upscale and intimate dining space. We came in a large group and got to try out a variety of dishes, all amazed by the flavors and beautiful plating of the food — the roasted cauliflower (Arnibit), falafel, and baba ghanouj were delicious appetizers; among the mains, we loved the shrimp and lamb skewers, while the mixed grill offered a variety of meats; for dessert, the Knaef was a sweet and decadent standout. The prices here are on a slightly higher end, but the exceptional quality of the food makes it well worth it.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Giordano's pizza restaurant for the first time, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the inviting ambiance of the restaurant, which exuded a cozy and welcoming atmosphere perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. We decided to order the Giordano's Famous Deep Dish, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly flaky and golden brown, while the generous layers of cheese, sauce, and toppings melded together in a delicious symphony of flavors. We also indulged in the Fresh Spinach small size pizza, which was a delightful combination of fresh spinach and gooey cheese, perfectly portioned to serve 2 to 3 people. One interesting fact about Giordano's is that they take great pride in their culinary craftsmanship, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients to create their signature dishes. This commitment to excellence truly shines through in every bite.I highly recommend trying Giordano's pizza restaurant for yourself. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. We even called ahead to order our pizza, and despite the busy evening rush, our order was ready in a timely manner, allowing us to enjoy our meal without any delays. If you're craving delicious deep-dish pizza in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, look no further than Giordano's. “OH MY GOD THIS PLACE MAKES HEAVEN. My favorites: - any of the savory meat croissants - egg sandwich - any of the meat strombolis - salted caramel donut - gingersnap molasses cookie - twice-baked almond croissant - vegan dark chocolate banana bread with pecans - Two falls ago there was this amazing apple cider bearclaw donut thing. I haven't seen it since in the pastry case, but I can still taste its awesomeness in my mouth and hope it will one day return. Everything here is so moist and magical. For me, what sets Mindy's Bakery apart from other bakeries, and makes it clear why Mindy won the Beard award for Outstanding Chef in the US, is that Mindy and crew are always working to improve their craft, always using quality ingredients and making better versions of things all the time and I respect this so much. Also, when you come in through the door, you can see everyone behind the counter, working hard, baking during open hours, and helping you pick things out of the big case in front. They are awesome. If you're from out of town, know there's rarely a line out the door on Wed, Thurs or Fri, but Sat and Sun are busy, so do what I do and bring your kindle or paper to read while you wait in line. It is always worth the wait.“

“This is a nice coffee shop. The drinks and food are good. The food is better than the average coffee shop. The average coffee shop just has muffins and this has actual meals that are good. They make their own bread and it is good. Their specialty drinks are very good. I especially like the Freddo espresso. The staff is nice. Most importantly, this coffee shop has comfortable chairs with backs. Many coffee shops just want you to order and leave so they are not comfortable. They also serve your drinks in mugs which is homey. I would recommend this coffee shop.“

“Great service - friendly owner makes you feel like you are eating at home. I go weekly for lunch and order the falafel wrap. It's fresh, and the tahini sauce is dairy free. They have an amazing deal on Fridays four dollar sandwiches or wraps! Highly recommend.“

“A fantastic place to have deep dish pizza in Chicago! A friend recommended this as we are from out of country. Would definitely come back again for their deep dish pizza stuffed crust. Their pizza crust is the best thing another the pizza (I personally don’t eat crusts on pizza, but here, it’s my favourite part). We also had a side of parmesan garlic fries and a Caesar salad which were a fantastic addition. Thanks Dimitri for the fantastic service!“

“It's a sub and pizza shop. Not a full size restaurant so don't have that expectation. Didn't have the pizza so I can't review that. The subs, however, are absolutely delicious. If you're near a Fontano's go there. If you're not near, go as soon as you can if you love sub sandwiches.“

“We have eaten here twice, once dine-in and later, take-out. The delivery was faster than they promised online, and the food was hot. I can say without qualification that I have never had better Thai in three decades of trying. “Ever since they opened we go out of our way to frequent this place. We have other Thai places within walking distance from our condo but a short drive yields better quality Thai food and wonderful service. Ambiance: The place is super clean which is a plus. If the front of the house is immaculate, I would think the kitchen is the same. The food is amazing. Tiger Cry is amazing and they give a nice size portion compared to other places. Sweet/savory marinated thin slices of beef char-grilled is wonderful. Don't hesitate on the fried shumai- Fried shrimp shu-mai, served with light sweet and sour sauce. Awesome finger food. You can't go wrong with any of the curry dishes. This last round we had the Gaeng Masaman - Masaman curry and potatoes sauteed in coconut milk with peanuts and chicken. Great flavor. So many selections but all have been great! I love the fact you can choose the level of spiciness for each dish depending on your preferences. We go full-tilt hot as hell spicy and it does not disappoint! Pricing is a bit lower than your average Thai places and portions are more generous. 3 dishes for 2 people yields leftovers! Owner is friendly and I can tell he loves what he does and is looking out for the diners. This is the place you want to make sure thrives. Go pay them a visit.“

“Max & Issy’s is a super cute date spot with great pizza. The inside is gorgeous and the food is incredible. They have a few unique pizzas, such as the Queen of Hearts, which is basically if spinach artichoke dip was a pizza. I had the hot honey pepper pizza and honestly whoever decided honey goes on pizza deserves an award. The pizzas only come in one size, which is 16” aka large, so you’ll probably want to share. Since my girlfriend and I have different taste palates (mine being good and hers being less good), we ordered two pizzas and now we have lots of leftovers. Highly recommend stopping by for date night or just a great pizza with friends.“

“What a fun spot! This was a great addition to the Southport corridor for its quickness and simple menu. I love the decor and atmosphere, and the sandwiches sure are to die for! “We saw that Chicago's Pizza offered a Mickey Mouse for children that they could build themselves and decided to take our children so they could have the experience. For our ourselves, we got a deep dish pizza, thin crust pizza, and fried cauliflower. We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of our food, which was very tasty (and we had gone only for the kids' pizza). They're focaccia was superb. Unfortunately, the restaurant sent us Mickey Mouse pizzas that were already made (not made by our kids). Other parents will understand how your dinner experience is affected when you've promised a 5-year-old something all day and then that thing doesn't come to fruition-it ruins your dinner. The staff were nice and accommodating, and they did what they could to help, including bringing out dough balls to make it seem to our kids like they were making the actual pizza. In the end, it worked. However, the dinner was a lot more tense than it should have been feel (and contentious amongst the parents). This is a situation that should've been handled by management. If the place is going to cater to children, there are the sort of things that it must stay on top off. Most parents can overlook a flawed pizza, but not a child crying over dinner.“
