“We had a funeral luncheon today, perfect location for the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery- the set up/family style food they have specifically for this type of event is great- private area, pleanty of food, good food. But what made me come on to leave a review was the great waitress we had. She went above and beyond, finding out my daughter couldn't eat much because her wisdom teeth had been pulled last week, and got her pleanty of mashed potatoes, and she was able to take some to go too. I know it doesn't sound like much, but when your 13, you haven't been able to eat much for the past week, have to go to all day funeral services, and then a lunch where your not sure what you will be able to eat, her kindness was very much appreciated! Thank you!”

Truly a hidden gym in the city of Elwood. The pizza will fill you up and if you're lucky you'll have left overs. Come race on in to get you some amazing pizza and specials!”

“My husband and I FINALLY made it here and I’m so sorry it took so long. We loved it. My husband had the steak tacos and I had the chile rellenos tacos sooo good! The margaritas were really yummy too might go today for the $6 margaritas. The owners were really nice to talk to were very personable we will def be back and try the shrimp n steak tacos:)”

“This is truly a hidden gem in downtown Joliet. Food was absolutely delicious. We tried the pollo anticuchero, the lomo saltado and the papa a la huancaina and it was all very tasty. I had the parchita for a drink and it was also very good. We will definitely be back.”

“My young son and I started a tradition on Fridays to get doughnuts before school as something to look forward to during the week. We have consistently been to Fleckensteins for over a year now and the service is always amazing. The staff on Friday mornings are the most friendly and kind people you will meet.

The doughnuts are always fresh and delicious. If I can snag a cheese coffeecake to bring home, my family is double excited. They have various breads, cookies, cupcakes, pies and cakes as well. A good variety of items to choose from!”

“Had Macianos for the first time today.. what can I say… The deep dish was to die for!!! Buttery crust and a classic tomatoe sauce with wonderful flavor. The classic thin crust was 👌 perfect as well. Finely diced toppings such as onion and green pepper. You get everything on the pie in every bite. Take my word for it and try this place out.”

“Had a great meal at Louie's! The place is bold and bright and the service top notch! My Denver omelet was terrific and the side of pancakes were great! Definitely a keeper!”

“Stayed at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet & food at the grill was terrible. Found The Old Fashioned Pancake House Restaurant on Jefferson St in Joliet the next morning and it was amazing. Service was quick, attentive and continuous. Food (breakfast) was simply outstanding and price was very good! I have traveled a lot and this place is a Five Star value in my book.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had our Nov. 2024 wedding rehearsal at Cut 158 and were completely impressed and happy with our experience. The food is excellent and the service was top notch. The staff made us feel very welcome and taken care of the entire night. They added little cute touches like our picture on the menu that made it feel special and their new space is really modern and perfect for events. We highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or just a nice dinner out. We have been coming here with our family the last few years and it is an amazing gem in Joliet.”
